This place is absolutely gorgeous. It almost fit the complete bill for being at a high end hotel…read moreright by the water. My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage here on a sunny Saturday. Having booked the service, we were allowed to utilize the amenities located in the spa. In order to get to the spa (if you're not staying in the hotel), you had to drive into the front entrance of the hotel. This is located on the side opposite of PCH. The only real option to park is through valet service which the spa takes care of as part of the cost of the service. Our massages were booked for 2pm but we arrived around 11:30am to have lunch and enjoy the amenities. The food was pretty good and the servings were plentiful. We got a chicken Cesar wrap and the charcuterie board. You're able to eat and have the food brought over just like you were ordering room service, it was definitely room service cost and they charged for delivery to the garden. After we finished eating, we lounged in the garden to catch some sun. This is the part where I say that it almost fit the bill... the weather loved tents providing shade had mold on the canvas. Maybe it was just weather warn because it does stay outside all year round? Not sure but I'm thinking that it definitely looked like mold to me. After the sun, we enjoyed the indoor amenities of steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. For me, there a few other patrons enjoying the amenities but my boyfriend said that he pretty much had the men's locker room all to himself. My favorite part about the amenities was the shower. The shower had a rainfall shower, a handheld shower and then several steam shower heads on three of the walls. The products in the shower smelled great and I would definitely use them again. For our massages, we have the couples suite. The room was absolutely gorgeous complete with 2 massage tables, 2 sinks, a gorgeous tub, 2 separate showers this beautiful stone piece on the far wall. Massages were great and relaxing. After the massages, our massage therapists led us out to the garden again to pretty much recover from the service and it was definitely needed. Upon checking it out from our service, we perused the gift shop. There were cute clothing pieces there as well as the products that were utilized as part of some of the services. When paying, they let us know that the gratuity was already covered in the cost so that was nice. Given the cost for each service, I thought it was a generous but also fair tip. Because we finished late afternoon, we decided to walk down to the pier and venture around there. We were able to keep the car there and the hotel bellman allowed us to store our gym bags in the hotel as well, all at no extra cost. If I was looking to splurge again, I would probably come back. What would sweeten the deal is if we were able to use the hotel pool too but they said that it is only allowed during the weekdays when the pool isn't too busy.

Spa is a little hidden gem but was also easy to find once you know where to go. Beautiful…read moredecorations with their wooden doors and other zen elements like the waterfall walls. They have various spa options from facials to massages. About $300-$400 for selected services. Day spa ticket to use facilities was $100 included hot sauna and jacuzzi, locker rooms, showers etc. Their spa store had a lot of high quality selections too including clothes, scents, candles and jewelry. Next to it was the access to the workout room. Which had various machines and weight equipment.

I went in not knowing how I'd feel about the place and walked out a full-blown member. I can be really sensitive to scents, so I love and appreciate how natural all of their products smell. I was also a little worried about the "shared room" concept, but meanwhile I felt like I was alone on a beach somewhere beautiful and on vacation. They do such a great job with the white noise too -- actual relaxing waves crashing on a beach, not the annoying kind lol. When I called last night, I spoke with someone who was so sweet and helpful (I wish I got her name), and she answered all of my questions. Then today for my appointment, I was greeted by Ky, who helped me sign up for the membership at the end. I swear everyone here just has this warm, kind, welcoming energy to them, which is so important for a place like this I can't wait to come back!

All therapists are great, but i have moved to Elizabeth V as my primary therapist as she has an aura about her that glows. She truly cares about not just the quality of your massage but your post massage care as well. She gives advice about things you can do at home to work on problem areas. You do need to book her at least 2 weeks in advance (yup shes that good). Ive never had an unpleasant experience here in 2 years, Everyone on the staff is kind and courteous. Its always extremely clean welcoming. Very easy to relax into your massage. 10/10

This was my first Korean spa experience, so part of this review is definitely from the perspective…read moreof someone who had no idea what they were doing. I came here with a group of girlfriends for my friend's birthday, and none of us had been to a Korean spa before. Honestly, it was confusing from the start. There wasn't much direction on where to go, what order to do things in, how the facilities worked, or what you were supposed to do if you booked extra services. We also came with one guy and a group of girls, so we didn't realize right away that we'd all be separated. Between that, people going off for body scrubs or massages, and everyone trying to figure it out as we went, I don't think we used the spa the way it was meant to be used at all. We ended up kind of bouncing around, asking what to do next, hanging out in the common area for a bit, and then leaving. The actual body scrub/massage add-on was fine, but overall it just felt disorganized and not very beginner-friendly. I've since seen friends go back and actually know what they're doing -- using the pools, sauna rooms, eating afterward, spending real time there -- and I can see how it could be a much better experience if you know the flow. But for a first-timer, especially with a group, I wish there had been a little more guidance.

The service was excellent and can see that staff takes great care and attention to making sure everything is taken care of. We very much appreciated all the amenities this inn had to offer such as the welcome drink, evening cookies (delicious!), sauna, sunblock at the pool, towels, lovely breakfast.. all complimentary (breakfast with resort fee). We also appreciated the 10% military discount. We stayed in room 23 which was a standard queen bed with garden view and liked that spot because it felt central, private, and quiet. The room is on the smaller side but it was fine. It does not have a fridge but they provide an ice bucket. We ended up putting our bottled waters on top of the AC box and that kept it cool. Being that the inn is beautifully historic, there weren't many outlets inside the room. The bath robes were very plush. Both lamp shade knobs didn't seem to turn properly but we made it work somehow. Otherwise, we felt well taken care of throughout our stay and so glad we came. Aside from the inn, there is a walk to get to Victoria Beach. We walked south along Coast Highway to Victoria Place and found the underpass from there. We also took the free trolley outside of the hotel to get around town. It could be quite a wait for the trolley as we waited 30 mins. There is a QR code on the sign to track the trolley locations.

One of my favorite parts of the hotel that was unexpected was the free breakfast. The breakfast was seated with a server where we had many options from a delicious, light, and healthy menu. Definitely recommend Casa Laguna for a celebration, staycation, or a relaxing weekend getaway. :)

The spa facility is absolutely beautiful and immaculate, and the service is top notch. You truly can't beat the view and location of this place. I enjoyed the Rejuvenation Aromatherapy Massage with added Himalayan salt stones. My therapist was kind and personable; she communicated well with me about my needs and preferences. After my treatment, I rested in the comfortable lounge for a bit and then enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. You also get access to the outdoor pool with spa treatment, and I went to check that out as well. I could not believe how wonderful it was - and i don't know what has taken me so long to visit. Hands down, my favorite spa in the OC. I went in on a quiet Wednesday morning, it was divine. the service was attentive. i ordered in the lounge and they brought everything to me there to eat after my treatments. it was immaculate. food was yum. drinks were great. There did seem to be, a lot of guests that came in just after lunch (after golfing maybe? tennis?) on the women's side. I could see upon exiting that maybe the attendants were having some trouble keeping up with emptying trash and picking up towels and glasses/cleaning shower stalls in a timely manner. maybe they all went on break at the same time? Angela was my massage therapist - she was a phenom! i am really looking forward to being back. everyone at the pools, spa, valet, concierge, grill restaurant - A plus!! thank you for a wonderful day of relaxation.
