Beautiful scents enveloped me as I entered the store. Their shelves are filled with their own brand of essential oils, bath and shower soaps, shaving products, and more. According to Pure Botanicals, their purpose is to make health care easily accessible, affordable, and supportive. With this in mind, the staff is extremely helpful in suggesting natural methods to enhance one's health and wellbeing. I had a great experience at the store. Their line of men's products smells great, as it is not too fragrant. I purchased a face moisturizer to try, containing comfrey and marshmallow herbs, rosehip and Vitamin E Oil. It's pricey--around $40. Not only do they have many products (and an online store!), but also their in-store clinic offers many alternative treatments, including hypnotherapy, acupuncture, and massages. A seasoned professional in the field conducts each treatment.

I was referred here by a friend who got a massage and said that they were good. So being that my neck is causing me all kinds of grief I thought I'd check them out. I'm glad I did. I've been going here for about 2 months now and Glendon has worked wonders on my neck and shoulders. I may have even fallen asleep during one of his sessions, ops! My bad. He's lovely and his knows his stuff. All the appointments happen under the shop where there's a lovely couched seating area with tea and coffee available while you wait for your appointment and you can watch the world go by through the double glass doors as you wait listening to relaxing background music. Upstairs they stock a whole range of amazing things, from candles, to burn sticks to oils and tea. They actually stock from one of my favourite tea places in here which has delighted me no end. So if you're walking past and have never gone in, go in and have a wonder.

I stumbled across this place when googling for massages in Bondi area. Rita, the manager, first explained what the Deep Relaxation Package (what I signed up for) entailed. She was right ---- I was in for a treat. First, there was a head and shoulder massage in a warm treatment room, while my feet were soaked in a warm foot bath. Then I moved on to the 3000 pound one-piece wood massage table where I enjoyed herbal oil massage for 45 mins. If you are looking for a massage to untie your muscle knots, this is not the place you want to come. This kind of massage is more for de-stressing your body and mind. After the massage, I did the Shirodhara - it is basically a warm steady flow of oil dripping down your forehead (your third eye?) continuously for 45 mins. It was SO relaxing ! I think I dozed off a couple of times. TIP: Make sure you do not have any appointments/ dates after the massage because you would be quite "oily" (even though you would be wiped down with warm wet towels), especially for females ! I had to wash my hair three times later that night to thorouhgly clean my oily hair !

They also offer the unique Float Therapy. I love to try different experiences and the float sounded intriguing to me. When I think of the float I automatically went back to the image of Homer and Lisa when they did it one episode. You basically enter a private room which has two deprivation tanks so making it ideal for a couple. I was on my own and had the room to myself. You have a quick shower then it's time to enter the tank. The tank is half full with sea salt water heated to the same level of body temperature. The water is loaded with Epsom salts. The Epsom salts ensure you float like you would on the Dead Sea. It's a weird sensation initially but you just need to lay back and enjoy it. It's 60 minutes in which you can attempt to become closed off from the busy lives we all live. I did my best to close out all thoughts and just relax and concentrate on my breathing. The 60 minutes go by very quickly and you leave with a sense of relaxation and new energy. I would consider going again because it's good to just shut out from everything every now and then. This is define to something to try.

Was fairly empty, but the next two people who came in after me had the vouchers as well. They asked me to take my shoes off and take a seat. I sat down and they brought out a basin with hot water to soak my feet. After a few minutes, this guy came out and did the foot scrub - was probably only 5 minutes but it was still nice. I wonder tho, if I didn't have the voucher, would I get a full 15 minutes? After he asked if I wanted a Thai massage or an oil massage. I asked what the difference was and he said the oil was more gentle. I figured I could take the thai, so we went for that. When he started, it was pretty rough. He was digging his elbows into my back and it was a bit too much for me to take. So after five minutes, I asked to switch to the oil and I'm very glad I did, because it was nice and relaxing and felt good. After my shoulder was a bit sore from the elbowing. A soothing 15-minute foot bath and scrub that uses your foot's reflex point to stimulate blood circulation; 3. A15-minute Thai herbal sauna The massage was hypnotic; I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep! The sauna is in an authentic Thai-style hut and the herb really gets under the pores of your skin, leaving it supple and smooth.
