I was dropping off on a Sunday, and driving from Pensacola I was going to be a couple minutes late to drop her off. I called the store when I knew I was going to be late and the staff stayed late to take us in. They do charge a late fee at this facility, but worth it considering that the staff had to stay late for us, and the level of care we were given, as customers who arrived past closing, rivalled the level of care recieved when arriving on time at other pet care facilities in the area. *The woman at the front desk was careful to relieve my fears as a first time boarder and answered every question I had... *My dog had a leg injury at the time of her boarding and the staff was very accommodating of her injury and even administered her pain medication for her every night during her stay! *The bath she retrieved at departure was high tier, she left smelling and looking better then she did when I dropped her off. As a single doughter dad to my girl I needed help getting her to behave and relearn myself how to handle a new puppy (She turned One in June 2025) with a will of her own. I will say that at first the cost of care had me a little choked up but I also preferred having her somewhere that she wouldn't be in a crate all day or with so many dogs that she got no attention. Within the first month I noticed a decent change in her as well as my ability to be more assertive. It is close to a year later and she still goes there during the day Mon-Fri. She knows when we are headed there in the morning and is excited to go and see her friends (as well as the humans - but they are more managing the play date than a part of it) and excited to see me when I pick her up in the evening so I know she is getting not only great care but some adjustments to her bad habits. Overall I have been very happy with Posh and how they have gotten to know me and my (now) teenager and plan to have her going there for as long as I live in the area (or until I become a snowbird and run from the hurricanes).

Pet food warehouse has two self serve dog wash tubs that raises up (bye bye back aches), have different setting nozzles, and our favorite- a high powered blow drier to get our super shedder dry in 15 min or less! When you walk in, go to the counter and let them know you'd like to use the dog bath. They have a card you sign up with (after 12 washes, the next is free! We are still working on our 12 lol). After taxes it comes to about $17 a wash. They supply you with some soap as well. We get the snowflake and also bring our own deshedding shampoo to use. They will show you how everything works in the room, along with plenty of dry towels and treats for the doggos after they are clean! Mr Ernie loves the staff (they always give extra treats) and we usually get a thing or two while we're there (they have everything you could think of here!). Potential adopter was denied. Animal control euthanized the dog on Jan 10, 2025 because dog was old and arthritic. Did I mention there was someone who WANTED TO ADOPT THE DOG????? Shame on animal control for denying this dog a compassionate owner. Also, this potential adopter went immediately to the park when she saw the dog had been abandoned and told Animal Control that she would adopt and provide all needed care for the dog. This has broken the hearts of everyone who was worried about this dog and were prepared to donate towards any needed costs of care.
