The customer service here is absolute garbage. The staff are rude and unhelpful. The prices here are astronomical and constantly being raised. Their benefit programs are a lie, the goal post is constantly being moved keeping you from ever getting your "free" bag of food that is promised when you register. It's false advertising and bad business. Save your time and money by using Chewy. The staff at Natural Pet are amazing and very informative! I wanted to start the raw food diet with my "puppy" who's 12 now, and I didn't know where to begin. One worker there spoke with me and gave me all of her recommendations and the reasons for her choices. The food is reasonably priced, and my dog loves it! She's back to her youthful self, and the coat on her fur is soooo shiny! They even recommended a great toy for my pup, and she's been all over it since. I am new with pets. I just got two Maine Coons 3 months old and 9 months old. The man I talked with seemed like the owner. I went over the fact that my cats are used from the breeder to eat Purina wet and dry food. I tried to change to raw and they didn't eat. He first said that "if they stay on any dry I will have vet bills piling up". I have a friend who had a cat for 18 years on dry food with no medical issues and the vet said the opposite. But I still wanted to go to raw based on some research that I did. He showed me some of his products and calculated the numbers. It came up to about $30 every two days for a cat. I said that "I can't afford it." He said that "maybe I should re-home the cats." That was the end of the conversation. The man caused me an upset and I left. I went to another natural pet store on Ulmerton by Belcher and Keen and we find a workable raw diet that stays in budget and is great. They explained how to transform the cat and happening. One of the worst retail experiences I have ever encountered in my life. Unbelievable! read more

I love this store! Super friendly, animal/loving staff and management. I'm a dog lover so I can only speak to their selection for canines, but their food (canned and dry) is a variety of great brands and they are knowledgeable and helpful while you shop. Their treats are also of the natural variety and I especially love the little Cheeto puff-looking green crispy dental treats. (They actually work a little whereas nothing else ever has.) Competitive pricing is another perk here. I notice I actually pay less than I used to when I shopped at similar stores in Clearwater and Belleair. I love this little shop. They are always very helpful in finding the right food for your fur babies. The thing I appreciate the most about this store is that they are not afraid to be out of stock on an item. What I mean by this is that you can be sure that it is fresh and not sitting on their shelves for months on end because they order to much product.
