First of all . . . it is the staff here that enhance everything about this charming place! They are exceptional! And then there's the unique cocktails! Oh, and the food! We loved the stuffed mushrooms and the free spicey little pretzels. Water served in a wine bottle,of course! We began our late evening upstairs with charming Hannah, the sommelier. My dirty martini, though off the menu, was perfection. Hubs had the "Penicillin" which I'm sure could cure cancer! Fortunately, they had room for us in the basement speakeasy, "The Principal's Office," where I was treated to an 1890's original gin martini made with the owner's hand-crafted gin. Mild and ever so slightly sweet, it was right up my alley. Hubby had a "Bitter Chocolate Fashioned" which came with a giant square ice cube and was very good. A piano player and singer were just finishing up as we were seated, but I had enjoyed snippets of "Play Misty For Me" and "My Funny Valentine," oldies but goodies well performed. This is a place to relax and enjoy good conversation. No TVs! Make a reservation and enjoy!

This is a really cute little lounge. It gets packed so be sure to get there early and make reservations beforehand if you want to go in. Sitting out side on the patio isn't bad but could be a lot better with fans out there. I've been told there is a speakeasy down below called the Principals Office but I didn't get a chance to go check it out because it was reserved that evening for a book club. The service is good inside. Water and pretzels are served. Friendly staff. No complaints really only wish since we were sitting outside in the heat they would have came out and offered more water. The food is actually appetizers only but everything sounded wonderful. We got the goat cheese with fig served with slices of baguette and crackers. That was hard to turn down. Creamy, warm and still making my mouth water. The wine selection is a bit limited for a place that is called a wine lounge. The cocktails are fancy, aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, and the cost will hit you in the pocketbook if you're not paying attention because it's easy to indulge here. It's a great date spot, get together with some friends, or apparently have your book club meet up kind of place. Definitely a place to check out. It's a little hidden treasure in the middle of a charming neighborhood that you'll miss unless you get out and explore the town a bit.

Delicious and well made Paloma's. The upstairs dining area can get a bit cramped but overall a good date spot.

Wine Dive Kitchen is a lovely restaurant in downtown Manhattan…read more I found them on OpenTable and booked a reservation for dinner on a Friday night. We were able to get in at 8:15. It was a little late, but they were super busy with a large party in a private room. Once we got in and got seated, the delightful server took excellent care of us. My wife wasn't really hungry so she just nibbled off my plate. I started with a half of a wedge salad, which was delicious. They had a special on a piece of paper that night, which was a smoked pastrami, burnt ends sandwich with homemade rye bread. It was glorious! Very creative and fun. Since I don't love fries, they were kind enough to substitute deviled eggs as my side dish. I didn't know there would be an up charge for that but it's okay because they were delicious. We each had two drinks from the bar and they were made very well. They have a huge wine, seller and a great selection as one would expect by the name of the place. This restaurant has other locations in Lawrence and Wichita and I would eat at any of the three. Very cool menu and an amazing wine selection. This is really good food.

I was feeling something lighter, so ordered the Fattoush Salad and added salmon for a dinner meal and it was very good, though didn't wow me like my guy was raving about his burger! They had their wine menu on an iPad (wide selection + easily updated) that had everything from fancy bottles to affordable glasses. Don't skip the cheesecake if they have it either!

She was attentive, kind, and clearly holding it down even when management was on some weird decisions. Now for the food... meh. The arancini balls were dry. I was excited for that green goddess sauce but it was way too salty. Not a vibe. The stuffed mushrooms though? Fire. My man tore his up and said they were the best part of the meal. The crab had that lil fishy kick to it, but like... it's Kansas, what we expect? We got the rosé flight--honestly the highlight. $12 well spent. No complaints there. He had the smash burger which was so good... but I'm realizing now it came without the onion topping. Probably forgot it. Not a dealbreaker but still. Now let's talk about the wild part... I asked for some marinara for the arancini and the manager had Emily bring me cocktail sauce. Not a joke. Cocktail sauce, y'all. Like... shrimp dip. Not even close. It's giving confusion. You got a whole ragu on the menu but can't pull together a marinara or even a basic tomato sauce? That ain't it. And instead of coming over to explain or offer an alternative, the manager had Emily do it? Smh. Not cool. But because Emily was dope, we'll probably be back. Wednesday wine nights might see us again just hoping management gets it together. If I wanted mystery red sauce, I'd be at Taco Bell. This is a wine bar. With tapas. Let's act like it.

3 rd and final review of 715 as I will not be returning. Chicken parm is not made w thigh meat anywhere! Seems like it was a way to use a 1.50 piece of chicken and .50 of grits and charge 38.00. Last night may 30 i ordered the chicken milanese w breast meat as you can see from my attachment from menu. Nope once again took a cut of the chicken and dark meat again and I hate dark meat. Cut it in half and showed waitress who went and talked to the kitchen. They said that when they butcher the chicken they sometimes get thigh meat w the breast???? What? Unbelievable that a manager didn't come to discuss but 35.00 bucks for thigh and arugula salad is robbery. She was kind enough to take off bill but still feel 715 is trying to pull one over again which might explain all the empty seats as well. Have shared this story w a few folks who have said it has gone downhill in the last several months. The prices you charge are over the top. Plenty of other places in town to eat like q39 where you can get a 3 meat platter w 2 sides and order of wings for the same price as 715's chicken thigh and arugula salad! Ok after this i am done. Here in mexico and ordered the chicken parm at the marriott and guess what cut of chicken they used? Breast just like 99% of the world except 715. They should be embarassed

Tip to 715 tho: please do this again, but give me a bib next time like a proper New England baby. I adore you. I adore the patio. It's really nice this time of year on the patio. Also my drink was delicious (not shown cuz I drank it too fast for the camera). Don't let anyone steal your potatoes if you come to eat this. Guard your potatoes.
