Beautiful business, staff is very friendly, hygienist and dentist very friendly and welcoming. It's been quite awhile since I've been to any dentist due to an unpleasant experience with a previous dentist. So I was a little timid about going since it had been so long. Everyone was welcoming. There was no shaming or judgement for how long it had been since my last cleaning. The office was comfortable and inviting, the dental cleaning chairs were really comfortable, they even have a gentle massage feature. I am looking forward to my 6 month checkup/cleaning. read more

Used to be a good place to go. Now that they have relocated and started accepting new patients, the old ones that helped get them there got sent to the wayside. Can barely get in for an appointment. No reminders anymore even if you asked, which is not necessarily their fault but when you have to make them a year in advance because of their availability it would be nice. Referred me to someone out of network after the hygienist refused to do my cleaning because she was hurting me ( never had that problem with my former hygienist that I had there). I had just changed my ins. to one they accepted after giving them out of pocket for years. Still waiting on an email they were supposed to send. No worries. Found a new one and moving my whole family over there. No rude hygienists, able to schedule in this century. Always liked the dentists but Salut has no loyalty to their former customers and the caring atmosphere is gone. read more

My first visit there today was the best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone was incredibly nice & welcoming. You & your pearly whites will feel like you are at the pearly gates of dentist heaven. I felt like I was at a spa/design room/modern lounge all in one. It is a beautifully appointed office. You can select your own Pandora channel to listen to & the exam chairs offer a massage option. The wood art on the ceiling is interesting to look at while your teeth are cleaned. Susan at the front desk was lovely. Kind & helpful. Deb, my hygienist was gentle & knowledgeable. She also was caring & had a fun sense of humor. When Dr. Julia came into the room I felt like I was seeing an old friend & meeting a new one at the same time. She is genuine, down to earth, warm & clearly has the chops to take excellent care of your choppers. There was a miscommunication about my insurance and Dr. Julia and her team handled it in such an integrity manner, that it only made me a more loyal patient. I had to pay out of pocket for my visit because my insurance is out of network, however, if they do not accept your insurance I would still recommend you visit Salutè. Your teeth & oral health are an important & worthy investment. I was happy to pay for my exam, x-rays and cleaning out of pocket. It was a great experience and great value. read more

If I could give 6 stars i would. Was having a terrible time finding a dentist willing to accommodate a quadriplegic who needs to have work done in his power chair. They were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make the whole experience easy and comfortable. Everyone was so caring. The building is beautiful, roomy, and clean. I LOVE Salute! I've been going to Salute since 2005 and have loved every visit! I feel so relaxed as soon as I enter the beautiful front desk area. Lindsay (hygenist) and Julia (dentist) are so personable that I feel like I'm just enjoying a hang out session at a friend's house. Dr. Garafalo installed a new crown for my front tooth 3 years ago; she did such a great job that I often forget which tooth it was. I've started bringing my 3 and 5 year old kids there; they are great with kids too! They loved playing on the iPad for the few minutes we waited. They had so much fun and are already looking forward to their next visit. For both kids, we were in and out in less than 50 minutes. We moved to a different suburb 3 years ago, but still make the 25 min drive out to see Lindsay/Julia because we love it at Salute! read more

My family has been using Salute Dental since we moved to the twin cities 11 years ago. This is the best dental practice that we've ever experienced. Honesty: They only do what needs to be done. Totally honest. Their are too many dental practices that perform unnecessary dental work just to make an extra dollar. Value: They charge a fair price. I am now retired and on Medicare without dental coverage. Salute charges a fair price to folks like me without dental insurance. Quality of work: They always do a great job whether it be a simple cleaning a tooth cap or a cavity. Flexibility: They will work you into their busy schedule if you have tooth pain. They are great with children. They are always very welcoming and friendly. Their new facility is very nice. I especially like the massage chair while they are working on my teeth. They truly understand what customer service is all about and leave no stone unturned in terms of satisfying the customer. read more

I am a happy client of Dr Julia for over 20 years. I visited new location today for the 1st time. I lo-o-oved it. The new office is very contemporary, cozy and welcoming. I loved orange pens with orange ink (Dr Julia is very unique and creative,as always), beautiful rooms with names of Italian cities on them. I can't say enough good things about Saluté Dental. I was absolutely, utterly, completely, totally petrified of going to the dentist, so much so that until 2 years ago I hadn't seen one in almost 20 years. (Sad, but true.) When it became absolutely imperative that I get over this fear, I somehow found out about this clinic and pushed myself to make an appointment. (It only took me about 4 months.) My fears were taken into consideration -- via the patient questionnaire -- and discussed before any treatment took place. They don't pay lip service: the staff truly strives to make the experience as pleasant as they possibly can. Fortunately and amazingly I didn't need much work, so I had no need of the heavy guns (i.e., conscious sedation, gas, etc.). I am not sure what options they offer in this area, so it's best to ask at your visit. The clinic has two dentists on staff. I have seen both; they are personable and put me at ease. During procedures, they ask you frequently how you're doing and don't spring surprises. They explain everything they're doing every step of the way. The hygienists are also top-notch. I think the operation strives to pair the patient with the same hygienist from visit to visit. In addition to basic dental services, they offer cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I was a little concerned about being relentlessly upsold on these services, but so for that has not happened. While I don't have many past comparisons of dental clinics to draw upon, if Saluté can put me at ease and make the experience as easy and pleasant as possible, that's more than enough reason to recommend them. read more

Salute Dental is extraordinary! We started going there in 2005. I should mention that my husband HATES dentists! He's had bad experiences, and he was reluctant to go, even though he needed a bit of work to be done. I was so impressed with how they treated my children, that I insisted he give them a chance. They were amazing! My husband now has a beautiful, healthy smile, and he no longer resists going. I'm a patient there as well, and I appreciate how calm and relaxing it is when I enter. I love how friendly and welcoming the desk staff is, as well as the hygienists. I confess that I am not a flosser, and I REALLY love that I don't get a lecture each time I visit. Yes, I know I am supposed to floss. My last dentist would give 20 minute lectures on the hazards of not flossing. I understood then, and it still didn't make me floss. Here, I do account for it, but the don't berate me for my weaknesses! I love that Salute is on the cutting edge of dental technology. Under their care, my children have had no cavities (and they do floss, btw). :o) Dr. Garofalo is amazing and personable! I usually HATE going to the dentist, but my experience at Saluté was definitely the best dental experience I have ever had. The hygienist was very nice and personable and talked me through the terribly grueling and uncomfortable course of x-rays. There was none of the usual scolding for having a almost absent flossing regime. Conversation wasn't too heavy or too light. I was sure to schedule my next appointment right away. We have been going to Salute Dental since they opened. And my husband was seeing Dr. Garafalo for years before she opened her new practice. They use state of the art technology and the flouride they use isn't gritty. Dr. Garafalo sees all 3 of my young boys and does an amazing job with them. The hygenists and dental assistants are professional and friendly. I had a root canal there and as funny as it sounds, it was a great experience! We like Dr. Garafalo and Salute Dental so much that we drive over 20 minutes to get there when we have another dentist across the street from where we live. I'd recommend them to anyone! read more
