I could not open the front door to my business and spoke to "Sam" said he could come out and it would be $39 to come out and give an estimate to repair, He came out and was pointing out different issues that were "very bad". He couldn't find anything to fix after 5 mins and adjusted a screw that had loosed from the strong winds that we had, not there more than 5 minutes, no estimate given. I offered the $39 to come out and give an estimate, he wanted $250, once again no estimate ever given I offered the $39 again, he said no demanded $250 in a loud angry voice then broke off a key in my front door and said, "now you need a locksmith!", I could not believe it. He jumped in his car and drove off quickly. Unbelievable! We have it all on our front door cameras, I was going to call the police but it is not worth it. Avoid this business at all costs! It's honestly hard to even write about what I went through with "Sam." First of all, Sam (aka Seif Yaghmour) has many locksmith businesses. He's running a widespread locksmith scam. I suppose the more businesses he has, the more victims he can target. A couple of his other businesses are Key and Key Locksmith and ZM Locksmith. Look them up and read the bad reviews. The good reviews are likely fake or written by people who don't know any better, like I didn't. As for my experience, it would be too much to type the whole story but here's how they operate: they'll quote you a low price to come out to rope you in. They'll break stuff unnecessarily to jack up the price. Say that things can only be done a certain way (ie. "drilling the lock open is the only way" when any reputable locksmith should be able to pick a lock). They'll do unnecessary work just to charge you extra and use the cheapest locks possible and charge you hundreds of dollars for them. When all was said and done, we were left with a bill for $1,290 (and we originally only called because we got locked out of the house). The service fee was $30, $290 for drilling our lock open, and $970 for replacing 6 locks (3 knobs and 3 deadbolts, which didn't even need to be replaced in the first place). My elderly mom and I didn't know any better and even asked him if this price was typical and he said yes, so we paid it. What else could we do? He had us in a vulnerable situation. I later consulted with a real locksmith who confirmed that drilling our lock (and thus destroying it) was unnecessary, that replacing all of the locks was unnecessary, that we were WAY overcharged, and that this setup is typical of locksmith scams that are becoming increasingly prevalent. I looked up the scheme online and what we experienced was a textbook locksmith scam. I called the business a couple of times to discuss my concerns but nobody ever called me back. I then tried to partially dispute the charge with my bank but because I technically approved the charge, they wouldn't refund. I finally reached "Sam" on the phone and he told me to call him back in a month because the dispute was still open on his end (it wasn't...I later confirmed with the bank). I called back a month later and no answer and no call back. I assume he's put my number in his phone as "do not answer." I could go on and on about the many red flags with this business. Stay far away from this man and his many scammy businesses. read more

I called Sam for a difficult real estate transaction where a tenant was under a court order to vacate but didn't. Sam was very responsive and ultimately changed 5 locks and provided 4 keys...I was SHOCKED when he gave me the bill of $1,660.00!!! He did the job but I felt extorted after the experience. Let me save you the loss of time with failed attempts-you will be better off immediately calling Sam 24/7 Locksmith. After wasting more than an hour destroying the lock to my $2500 custom screen door, I called Sam 24/7. In a rushed and desperate voice I explained my failed attempts at entry and need to get to work. I was shocked when the locksmith said he was in the area and would be arriving in 5 minutes...and, he was true to his word. He jumped out of his van, began working on the lock, which by the way I made the situation worse with my failed attempts. He successfully gained entry into my home, and offered additional services to replace the handles, lock, and re-key the mechanism to my existing key. I kid you not, the entire job was maybe 15 minutes! The service was exceptional and the price was fair. The locksmith was very kind and honest.
