I contacted quite a few general contractors for my kitchen remodel and found this company. Serge is…read morevery responsive and gave me a detailed price quote but allowed me to customize the quote to meet my budget. He also found a cabinet manufacturer that would give me the look I wanted but within my budget. He allowed me to set up some payments based on completion milestones instead of paying everything up front and he also offers credit! The kitchen is looking amazing and I was very happy and surprised at the level of customization that took mid grade manufactured cabinets to highly custom cabinets once he finished with them. My only advice is to make sure you don't skip the sit down with your GC to discuss your lay out and sign off on it so that you don't have any misunderstandings. I was very busy and missed our scheduled meeting and ended up with a wrong cabinet ordered. Luckily, it was easily switched out for the correct one. Serge also did some extra work for me that I wasn't expecting in order to make up for the brief delay, which was a nice surprise. Serge has a great person doing his carpentry work for both rough in and finish, and he took the waviest of walls and scribed the trim and crown molding so that it looks virtually perfect. I hope to use Tex-Tile Construction again in the near future and was happy to know that he has very reasonably priced subs in several other key areas. Bottom line is that Serge tries very hard to please his customers, is accommodating and he even does some of the work himself when appropriate , which you don't see much anymore.

We ordered a countertop and tile jobs from JG Natural Stone…read more First, they installed a countertop. No issues with that. After a week, they came back and did a natural stone installation. Horrible job. 1. First of all, they saw our walls twice before the installation and didn't even mention that they needed to be painted with a dark color. We thought it wouldn't matter since the stone will cover it. 2. In the pictures, you can see that they leave such big gaps (approximately 1/4 in). Their representative tried to convince us that it is "just the design of the stone," but we're on our mind so far and understand that it is not. Moreover, you can clearly see mastic and walls in these gaps. Believe me, it looks horrible when you look at it in-person. 3. The material has chips (we were told I is "just the design of the stone"). They just didn't want to provide enough material to find better pieces 4. When we tried to talk with someone from the office asking them to redo the job or provide us a discount on their labor, they said they cannot do that. 5. Now we need to find another company who will redo this job. I cannot tell you how we're sad and feeling fooled. We're highly NOT recommending this business to anyone. In case if their technicians mess up, they will always say it's "by the design." Please find another company who cares about their reputation.

Shower, tub, floors, tile, lighting, electrical, tile, fans/vents, painting and more. I give them my highest recommendation. See before and after photos. Excellent communication, beginning with their response to my initial request for information and throughout the whole project. The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.

See the photos, the top 3 line tiles are white, all the rest tiles are yellow! I went to the store where I purchased the tiles, and the manager said he could not do anything. I lost $1500 labor to redo the entire left-side wall, including removing the installed tiles, replacing the hardy barker board & red guard, and installing the tiles again. I also lost 8 pieces of the tiles (materials), $90.76 total. I would like Floor & Decor to contact me back for this loss, since it is completely their fault for giving me different color tiles!
