The process was diligent and efficient. The price for two new units were to be as expected; however, it is a necessary expense and one that I was willing to invest in for peace of mind in the future. I appreciate the after care Canady's provides as well to ensure that the customer is satisfied. They will also do a follow check in about two weeks which lets me know they care about the quality of their services and are willing to stand by their name. They did not leave a mess and everything is in working order which I am very happy.

He should have quoted her a price before installing it, which he did not. Additionally, he tried to upsell her other services that she did not need. I told her to call Richmond Hill Air Conditioning and have them come over and do the job. They always treat me fairly. The tech was at her house within an hour and told her it would be $135 parts and labor. That's quite a bit different than Canady's. In conclusion; If you have money to burn, call Canady's!

First, I want to recognize Matt, the technician who came to my home. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He took the time to answer my questions and shared valuable information about water treatment systems and installation considerations. He also mentioned that when these units are shipped and transported on their sides, it can sometimes create issues depending on the equipment and how long it remained in that position. I appreciated his expertise and his willingness to educate me on the project. My concern is not with Matt, but with the company's communication regarding fees. During my Yelp communications, I was advised that this would be a free estimate. Based on that representation, I scheduled the appointment. Matt reviewed the project and provided a quote of approximately $2,700. After obtaining several other quotes in the $400 to $550 range, I decided to move forward with another installer. Only after I informed Matt that I would not be proceeding with David Gray was I advised of a $49 service charge. At no point during the Yelp conversation, scheduling process, or prior to the appointment was I informed that there would be a charge associated with the estimate. Had I known about this fee in advance, I would not have scheduled the appointment. What made the situation more frustrating was that after declining the work, I received an invoice via email for the $49 charge, despite my understanding, based on the Yelp messages, that the estimate was free. This came as a complete surprise, as no fee had been disclosed or discussed beforehand. I believe companies should be transparent about any service-call, trip, diagnostic, or estimate fees before scheduling appointments so customers can make informed decisions. Again, Matt was excellent and represented the company professionally. My review reflects concerns with the company's communication and billing practices, not the quality of service provided by the technician. I would encourage future customers to confirm in writing whether any charges apply to estimates or site visits before scheduling an appointment.

I called to see what they would do, since we prepaid for a year of service to prevent this kind of damage, but now have to resod. I at least wanted them to assure me they would verify the bugs were eradicated before I resodded. I got a call from a man who started off angry. He spoke in the most condescending way I have been spoken to in my adult life. Repeatedly cut me off and refused to let me ask my question. He yelled and tried to use intimidation instead of just answering questions. We got a call later from the field manager who was apologetic, but they still wouldn't take any ownership of allowing our yard to be decimated by chinch bugs, and tried to blame it on heat scorching from FOUR MONTHS prior when our sprinklers broke (we fixed them that very week and the grass did spring right back. the pattern of damage and the fact that the grass pulls up with zero root tugging all indicate pest damage, not heat). We are moving on, but strongly recommend going elsewhere. We viewed this service like preventive insurance against having to sod. But they still leave lots of weeds and when they allow you to get pests, not only try to blame you but will verbally assault you too (this is no hyperbole).

So, although the price might be a little higher than the rest, Atlas will give you the high quality work to match the price you're paying. With other places that have coupons in papers and red flag generating low prices, they are also the ones that I have seen notoriously sneak hidden fees into the final bill... again Atlas didn't do this. If you want fast, high quality work... I couldn't recommit Atlas more.
