Recently purchased a preowned vehicle. While I was washing it a couple of days later I noticed a little bit of damage to the rear quarter of the truck I called the sales manager and spoke with him. My experience with Sam Pierce was terrible. I was labeled a sucker from the second I stepped foot in there. And well, I played the part. I walked away (after almost 6 hours of standing around waiting) with a 55 thousand dollar 6 year old vehicle.. Yes you heard right.. $55,000. Its embarassing to even say out loud. I dont know how or why I didnt walk away. I guess i was just wore down. This truck has obvious signs of wear and tear. At last after a few showers most the white out they used to touch up the obvious spots has washed away, further giving me anxiety about overpaying for a vehicle. Just for fun i put the exact truck in Sam Pierce's website for trade in value.. I guess they deem it worth $30,000 torwards trade in. These people do not treat you like a human being. It is all about how much they can take you for. Jimmy Jones in my experience reminds me of one of those awful salesmen you see in the movies. Jimmy would sell a chicken wing to a chicken. He took me for everything i was worth. Do i have buyers remorse? You betcha! After getting home with my "new" used truck and seeing all the visible dings and scratches slowly showing through the generic white out they used to touch up. At that point I knew it would be all down hill from there. I have no doubt that the life of the loan will far exceed the life of this truck. It will be laying in a scrapyard somewhere while i still have 2 years left to pay I'm certain. Hopefully anyone reading this learns from my mistake. Be ready to walk away. If something doesn't feel right get up and leave. I wish I had done just that. This is just a nightmare i cant wake up from. In the end.. I signed on the dotted line. This beater with a heater is in my name. Am I proud of my purchase? Heck no! Be careful out there people. All I can do is tell myself never again. I will never be back there nor will I ever tell anyone that purchasing anything from Sam Pierce is a wise move. There is a special place reserved for Jimmy Jones and Sam Pierce only spoken of in the deepest and darkest parts of the bible. It ain't heaven folks! Bought a 2018 Honda Accord there on 1-2-24. I had frost on my car on 1-5-24 and turned on rear defrost, drove 25 miles and still had frost. Called in to Sam Pierce service department and made an appointment. Took it in and the general manager and service manager called me back to show me what happened. Turns out previous owner had taken off the window tint and broke some wires in the window. Gm and Sm sent a window service to my house and had window installed at no charge! Also apologized for not noticing it before they sold it! This is how you get return business! Thanks again to the GM and SM for taking care of business!!! Called and talked to Rocky, a sales manager there about a vintage 91 Buick they've had for almost 3 years and wanted over 17 thousand dollars for. After negotiating a deal for about that same amount out the door he advised me that it had some paint problems and sent me some pictures of the sides of the doors with what looked like scratches. I specifically asked him if the hood, roof, and trunk had any problems and he said that he didn't notice any. We renegotiated for 14 thousand. With that I figured I'd take the chance of buffing out the scratches and rented a U Haul trailer and drove 4 hours to get the car. Since Rocky went on vacation some other manager?, without even introducing himself or asking our names, pulled out two chairs and said we should get started on the paperwork. Without even seeing the car? When he pulled the car around the paint on the front of car, hood, roof, windshield pillars, and trunk were full of the same checking/cracking that was seen in the door pictures. What a bag over the head, punch in face this whole experience was with these people. Wasted a whole day and about $200 in fuel and rental fees to get a car that isn't worth shit! Was going in to figure out pricing on a car I found online. Was going to trade in my car then finance the rest. They gave me a insanely low trade in value of 5 grand because they said they heard a rattling sound in my car. I have never heard a rattling sound in my car before and it's been in no accidents throughout its 50k mile journey. They told us thats the best they can do because their appraiser "a race car driver" said the rattling sound would make the car unsellable and they'd most likely have to auction off the car. There's no rattling sound and I believe they were just trying to take advantage of me because I'm a young adult. read more

Purchased a beautiful used 2013 GMC 2500 HD Denali, only got 28k on her. Before purchasing I pointed out a large dent in the front passenger side fender of the truck, along with several other issues. After all if was used. I was told by my salesman "we'll take care of it" as I pointed to the dent. I was reassured several times that "we'll take care of it" as we walked around the truck and I pointed out problems. Dealership did NOT take care of it. And magically, nobody remembers me pointing it out. Dave the assistant manager said it wasn't written down in the IOU portion or the paperwork. Interesting, they fixed 2 other issues that also weren't written down but were pointed out prior to purchase. I paid $53,000 for the vehicle, $58,000 after warranty, taxes and title. I was told by by salesman several times "if there's anything wrong we will fix it, you just let me know". Nobody seemed to really care how awful much a new fender might cost. Or maybe they had made up their minds not to fool with it. After being told by my salesman "We'll call when we have an estimate", no call. I called the collision center the following day only to be told they knew nothing about an estimate. I had also asked for a separate one upon dropping my beautiful truck off at service. I phoned twice before a manager finally called me back in regards to the issue. Surprise, surprise he knew nothing of what was going on. If your going to tell people "you'll take care of it" then take care of the problems. I could have purchased any truck I wanted at any lot, especially dent free. As a veteran, of 4 combat tours, I choose one that stated it is veteran owned and operated on it's web site. I trusted them based on this information. In the words of Charlie Murphy---WRONG It would appear Sam Pierce (and associates) won't keep their word. Perhaps simply don't make such promises. Maybe inform the buyer there are certain things you can't or just won't do. I do however agree with Dave on one issue, albeit a discouraging result of time and events: Get it in writing.... This is the lesson I learned, buyer beware at Sam Pierce, don't take his veteran word for it, get it on the IOU or you'll be out of luck.... This place reminds me of the VA! Lots of "I don't remembers" and "we seemed to have misplaced this file". If your lucky you'll even get a "I don't see it written on here...." "3 month/3,000 mile warranty on used car purchases to get you past things like this"-- only applies to things they want to fix. After purchase -- sorry it wasn't on the IOU. To that I say: You are correct Sam Pierce, you have won the legally obligated technicality paper trail war. Good Game! FYI it cost Sam Pierce $42 an hour to fix a fender. $640.00 dollars, at cost, which they did agree to do, at cost. I had much better luck at Dellen Automotive by the way. read more

We just moved Indiana was looking for a good car dealership to do some car work we replaced the transmission ourselves which needed the TCM to be programmed to the car they fried The transmission control module and in the middle of programming it there Internet went down car doesn't work right ran great before except for it need to programmed The service technician was smug rude disrespectful looked down his nose is if we work nothing I guess if you don't buy a brand new car off of them they really don't care to do an oil change any service thing that actually takes a technician to truly do they can't perform So I guess the moral is if you don't buy a car here don't have them work on it read more

I mentioned it to the service tech and he looked at it and said it was like that when I came in and that it had been removed before. This was not true on both accounts. I went in for my 3rd oil change on my truck and was expecting to have my tires replaced since they told me on my 2nd oil change my tires qualified for a recall. After 45 minutes the representative come out and told me the tires actually was not part of a recall but they rotated them and done a oil change. To my surprise when I get up the next morning the tire I knew had a small leak but thought it was being replaced, was low again but hadn't moved from the back drivers side of the truck. This told me the tires was not rotated like I paid for. I call and after being lied to and told the representative must not have reset the pressure sensor. (My truck has an active sensor, no way to reset it) he then states they didn't rotate because it was suppose to have new tires. Now I wonder, did they rotate them when I was told they qualified for a recall on the second oil change, Since they planned on replacing them then, but didn't have the tires in stock. Have they ever rotated them? This is a Good way to wear out tires prematurely. read more
