Dr. Sam took over for Dr. Heidi, lucky us. Although I miss Heidi, Sam fits right in and does amazing work.

I don't get overly excited about most people, but I was darned near giddy when I ran into Dr Rhame at More Mojo Studios after I hadn't seen her in years.

Her deep, science-based understanding of physiology, especially when it comes to female and athletic bodies, is truly unmatched. She meets you exactly where you are, tuning in to your personal needs while offering practical, meaningful guidance that leads to real change. What sets Shanti apart is her whole-body, natural approach. She's not someone who pushes a Western medicine fix for everything--she's incredibly attuned to the body's natural rhythms and honors the simplicity and wisdom of how we're built. She challenges me in the best ways, always pushing me toward actual growth while being emotionally supportive and truly caring along the way. And honestly--her approach works. I've been dealing with insulin resistance and hormonal shifts, and in just two months I've experienced a major, positive transformation in how I feel and how my body functions. I first worked with Shanti before my wedding and reached my goals, and came back to her when I decided to come off birth control. The results have been even more powerful the second time around. If you're ready to take real action and make sustainable, lifelong changes for your health, I can't recommend Shanti enough. She's the real deal

I am deeply…read moreappreciative of the work that I was able to do with Jessica over this time, and I believe it has helped me immeasurably to get to a positive place in my life today. Jessica's style was perfect for me. Her attentive listener, thoughtful and knowledgeable feedback, insightful suggestions and sharing of resources, and her gentle but focused encouragement, all contributed to my progress as I climbed out of a deep hole which had previously seemed inescapable. I have a revitalized passion for life and I owe much of it to the work I did with Jessica., who always kept my long term goals in mind and took every effort to provide a warm space to work in. I am so thankful for Jessica's approach, the space and support provided, and her holistic sense of what I needed in a given session. The knowledge and habits I have developed as a result of Jessica's care and support have made a huge difference in my life. Coming to the Connective was a wonderful development for me and I am forever appreciative of my time with Jessica. I feel ready to continue my journey and excited to continue my progress with the insights I have gleaned about myself, my relationships with others, and my outlook on life. As insurance did not cover our sessions, I paid totally out of pocket. That is the only reason why I am withdrawing from therapy; the sessions were worth the price, but my financial realities mean I need to take a break from The Connective. The fact that I stayed with the Connective for so long evidences that I found the experience truly helpful and rewarding. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization in general and Jessica in particular. Thank you!

I took my first F45 class at Transbay a few months ago, and then had been going to classes on and…read moreoff until recent weeks when I finally found my rhythm - now I'm hooked! Classes: There are themes (Cardio, Resistance, Hybrid), but the classes within the themes are not the same, so you always get a variety of exercises to challenge yourself within the 45min block. Even if there's something you don't particularly like (for me it's pullups, lol), you just need to push through and then it's over within a few minutes or less. The structure of the 45min class includes a walkthrough of the exercises, the workout, and then an optional cooldown (or burnout, depending on the day). One thing I've always liked about F45 that I haven't seen at many other studios is the TV screens which, in addition to the 1-2 coaches walking around, are great reminders for how to do the exercises. Coaches: Dan, Manny, Ethan, Mac, Trinity, Jennifer, and the other Transbay coaches are all welcoming, friendly, and experienced. They help guide everyone through the exercises, offer tips and advice (e.g., alignment), push you to challenge yourself (e.g., increase the weight), and most importantly to motivate you! If you're a complete beginner, it can be helpful to mention that to them before class and/or wave them down during class if you would like additional attention and instruction. Studio: The studio is probably one of the easiest F45 studios to get to, if you don't already live or work nearby, because it's right across the street from the Transbay Terminal or a short walk from Market or Embarcadero. (The entrance is down a small side street, which can be missed if you don't the sign on the street though.) The studio itself still feels all shiny and new, and the equipment is in excellent, like new condition. There are open cubbies to store your things during class, and there are also 2 all-gender (individual) restrooms, showers, and towels available to use. Membership/Pricing: F45 has memberships, class packs (including an intro pack for newbies), and drop-in rates. They're also on ClassPass (and GymPass..?). If you're aiming to go to a class during peak hours, it can be a good idea to book your spot in advance.

I recently became a member at F45 after attending their Yelp community event a couple of weeks ago…read more I was looking for a new fitness studio to take HIIT classes at in the city after TruFusion closed, so the timing was perfect. I was impressed from the start with F45's offering of full-body workouts, motivational instructors, and display screens in front that show exactly how to perform each exercise for reference throughout class. The facilities are super clean and nice, which elevates the entire experience of working out. The main reason I joined this particular studio is location. It's so conveniently located with the embarcadero muni/bart stop in close proximity, as well as a bunch of healthy food options for quick access to post-workout fuel. Apart from location, the Transbay team was super accommodating. A week after the Yelp community event I went to, they were having their 1-year anniversary party of being open. I really wanted to go, but I had schedule conflicts. When I reached out to the team, they still offered me the first-month promo they were giving out at the party. I really appreciate the gesture, and the entire process of communicating with the team and setting up my membership was frictionless, so huge shout out to the team for being awesome and taking good care of me. Since I'm just getting started, I've only logged two workouts here so far, but I'm sure I'll accumulate many more soon!
