I first came to see Dr. Benson around 2020. As a professional musician, my daily life requires long hours of intensive practice. I would often practice for eight hours or more a day, sitting for two to three hours at a time without getting up or any stretching activities. Over time, the combination of prolonged sitting and a lack of core strength training led to severe back pain. My back became extremely tight, and at times I could barely walk, and I felt like I were a hundred years old. There were even days when I was unable to turn over with intense pain in bed. Around 2020, I experienced another episode where I could not stand up straight. Desperate, I searched on Google and found Dr. Benson nearby. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I still remember how I struggled to leave my apartment, moving step by step with great pain and suffering, getting into a friend's car, and then slowly making my way into his clinic. When your spine is misaligned, nothing feels right, sitting, standing, or lying down all become painful. Dr. Benson first took X-rays and conducted a thorough evaluation. Before starting treatment, he also documented my condition with before-and-after comparisons, including a clear difference between my two legs lengths. After my first spinal adjustment, I experienced immediate relief. At the very least, I was able to walk out of the clinic upright instead of feeling like I had to crawl in and out. Over the years since then, I have seen more than ten different practitioners, including chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and other specialists. I also tried various medications and traditional treatments. Because I did not have insurance, all expenses were out of my own pocket, totaling over $10,000. At one clinic run by a Chinese herb practitioner from Hong Kong, I spent nearly $5,000 alone. Each session felt extremely painful, almost like torture, and I had to follow strict dietary restrictions, avoiding foods such as seafood, mangoes, and lamb, etc. I also spent over $3,000 on herbal medicine from another practitioner and took it for one to two years, but my back pain was never truly resolved. It was not until around September or October of last year 2025 that I began consistent treatment again with Dr. Benson, visiting two to three times per week. After about two months, I started to notice significant improvements. I was able to do household chores again and could stand for longer periods without pain. Today, I am no longer troubled by back pain at all, and I have even started to rebuild my physical strength and fitness. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Benson for his professionalism, care, and effective treatment. His work has truly changed my quality of life. I sincerely hope that more people who are struggling with pain can find him and experience the same relief and recovery that I have. read more

Dr. Tam is Amazing. This is my first time going to a chiropractor & after reading several outstanding reviews. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tam, and he was able to get me in the next day. I have alot of back & neck pain, my spine was all tangled, and thanks to him, I learned that I had a nick injury that was missed from another doctor. Dr. Tam listened to me, and assured me that he's gonna do all that He can two make sure that I leave with no more pain, which has been so helpful. He addressed all of my concerns, which I felt I was finally being heard. He has great bedside manner and is very patient, not to mention he's always energetic and reminds his patients to smile. The staff here are so kind. There are two Michelle's here. One does billing and the other is the medical assistant. I spoke with Michelle with the billing department, and she was able to assist me with all my billing concerns as it was a third party billing due to a car accident, and I was a bit confused on how it worked. Nevertheless, she was able to make sure that I had all the necessary information Michelle the medical assistant is very friendly and does a great job with multitasking. I have been coming to Benson Chiropractic for just over 2 months, and in that short time Dr. Tam has done more good than I expected in such a short time. Dr. Tam listens carefully and seems to pinpoint his adjustment in the perfect place. Often times the manipulation hurts some but the results are undeniable My pain has been greatly reduced. Dr. Tam, is great at what he does, however he doesn't do all of this alone. He has 2 very capable and professional team players. 1st there is MIchelle who is virtually the face of Benson Chiropratic. I googled a chiropractor near me which it isn't that close to me but read some reviews and read they might take insurance and finally went to see a chiropractor. I have always wanted to go to one but you know hesitant, but after traveling and developing neck pain I went to see dr tam. He is a tell you like it is md. He did my initial assessment & suggested an xray..told me my issues and treatment plan and always said it's up to me if I want to come in as often as he suggests but treatment of my neck & back will take time. My back has always been tight and I do get massages but he said that's only the surface so you have to work the underline problem. So far the treatments are helping and the alignments are pretty incredible. You do feel a little dazed sometimes after adjustment. Both Michelles the technicians are so helpful & easy to talk to esp when I'm getting ultra sound therapy. Usually a fast wait or no wait and quick appointment. Pretty happy I found them. read more

I have been searching for a chiropractor that does x-ray in the clinic and Benson Chiropractic does that which is a huge relief if you have pinched nerve. I have been to other physical therapist clinics and as much as they are professional it's hard to pinpoint the problem w/o x-ray. Dr. Benson's type of care is also more intensive. I received services that made my right arm better, he opened up my shoulders where the problem was. They don't accept Anthem insurance so make sure that they accept yours before committing. It was my first session with Dr. Benson yesterday. I need to come back 3x next week. I hope after the 3 visits are done it will be just "maintenance". I feel I had found "the one" and will continue seeing Dr. Benson going forward. The receptionist was nice and promised to provide an itemized receipt for me so that i can claim it to my HSA. The clinic is neat and clean. I can still feel a little tingling and numbness on my right arm but there's a definitely an improvement. 11/11 - my second visit. I feel so much better on my right arm. My first visit made an immediate improvement. Today We found out that my neck needs minor adjustments and realignment. Thank God i found Dr. Benson. I gave them 4 stars before because my insurance is not covered, but that's something they don't have control of. So I'm giving them 5 stars now. I went in with chronic back and neck pain. I got X-rays so they could check how my alignment was, and found out I have scoliosis. Only reason i gave 1 star is because, it made me feel like they took x-ray even though I didn't want it. Okay i get it you need to see what happened but at the end its all same adjustments they do. Because of my first visit, after all that money, they didn't even adjust my neck. NOT HONEST. I been to many chiropractors, this MOST EXPENSIVE one in a unnecessary way. if you don't have a real insurance , you have to make sure you have a good money to spend.
