Nothing is that urgent unless it's for the pharmacy. Another Yelper called it a madhouse, and I'd agree. Also, there are so many folks ordering food that if you're Deaf, you'd better tell them your number or you're screwed. Of course, I'm from the mainland, so my take is specific to me. However, regardless of the crowds and chaos, for the majority Puerto Ricans still manage to be polite and friendly, and maybe it's merely an island attitude, one of which i encountered living in Hawaii and the Philippines too. Also, back home, we'd have a maximum of ten customers waiting on food Monday through Friday. It's just not as busy as it is here, and i don't think any of those i have visited can compare to this location- not Lexington, Florence, Toledo, Indianapolis, not even Los Angeles. I got petrol at this Costco when it first opened without any issues. Pretty quick process, and these folks don't mind pumping on the other side of the station, and back home, people refuse to pump on the opposite side. Yet the hoses can extend to the opposite side, making the process quicker; so, at least here in PR, they understand it. They did have several pastries that i wasn't familiar with back on the mainland, as well as several juices; so i decided to purchase them.

It was pretty well stocked except for liquor which is small and inside the store. The lines were ridiculously long at checkout. In spite of this it's worth stopping there when you are a large group vacationing at a house.

This is definitely more of like a Sam's/Costco set up, best for buying in bulk! We picked up a loaf of sandwich bread and after checking out I noticed the bread I chose was 1 week overdue to be tossed (April 17). I asked the cashier if I could go and just grab a new loaf, she said that's fine, I did. EVERY SINGLE loaf was bad. Every rack, flavor, the farther down the older they got. I was just appalled. Some bags were opened, or ripped and still sitting aligned in the totes to be sold. We didn't end up getting any of the loafs, obviously. So they got about $3 for free and about 12 racks of months old bread! Just be aware for travelers coming. We had a great experience in Red Hook at Moe's, would definitely recommend them!!

Came here to grab a few beverages and other items to stock the fridge at the condo during my recent visit to the Virgin Islands. Liquor prices are slightly cheaper however, but not as cheap as Mexico prices. The service is good and the employees here are friendly, thats always a plus. I had the cashier ROTFL with my comments on the prices lol I'd suggest shopping here if you'll be staying for at least a week or more and you have at least 2 other people staying with you..I came across lots of family sized and Bulk items.
