The wines themselves weren't very impressive to me, especially the reds. They lacked depth and complexity and came across a bit flat compared to other spots on the trail. They often have samples, especially on the weekends. The staff is always friendly and will walk you over to the item you can't seem to find but is definitely on the shelf. If you're looking for a recommendation there are staff members throughout the store you can ask any of them. They also have an area where you can pick up singles if you want to try something new without committing to a case and their mini- bar bottle game is on point. I usually come in during the holidays and pick up something seasonal, mini bar bottles make perfect stocking stuffers. Plenty of parking and they open early.

This was a really fun blind tasting called. Can you taste the price? Four red wines from around the world, and we were asked to guess the price on each without knowing anything about them other than the taste. We had a lively group there last night of about 15 and some really great conversation about places we've been and wines that we like. Most of the people I've met at these events are like me, just like learning about wine and trying new things. But there's a couple regulars there that really know their stuff, and they contribute great knowledge to the evening. I have to say, I did poorly guessing the prices, but pretty good at determining the relative price points among the four wines. In any event, Luna and I left with smiles on our faces and more good memories. Even though Spin The Bottle, it's about a 50 minute drive for me, this is my go to place for buying wine now. Cristobal's niche is finding really good wine that punches way above its price point. You won't find any of the big name restaurant wines here, and it doesn't matter. I would guess the vast majority of his wines cell for between $20 and $45 with a really large selection between $20 and $30. Oh, at least I forget, we were treated with a nice large charcuterie box from Mingle and Graze that was a crowd favorite. Most of these classes are held on Wednesday nights from six to about seven or 730. Buying a ticket to get a place at the table is highly recommended as they fill up fast. The tickets are about 30 bucks and get you a bunch of knowledge tasting a few really good wines and sharing a really good charcuterie box.

Giovanni (or Gio for short) was a cute and wonderful host, explaining the various items on our tasting board--cleverly shaped like the state of Arizona, of course--as well as the various things he was serving my mom. Mom is by no means a wine connoisseur, and she definitely prefers the sweet wines over the dry ones. But she managed to find some things that she didn't mind during our stay. For me, the delicious cheese and salami was wonderful and while I didn't love the NA Aperol Spritz, I appreciated the opportunity to try it.

I just went back today to get three more bottles of a french sparkling wine (that was in the wine club offering) that was so good I had to have more. Of course, while I was there I had to purchase some gorgeous bakery items. Every time I go, I ask for recommendations and I have been so happy with all the wines I have tried. What I like best is that I am trying new grape varieties, wines from regions I'm not familiar with, and wines from boutique vineyards.

This was a premium knife that wasn't cheap and the support from Sur La Table is disappointing. An almost identical knife is available at Costco and I wish I had purchased it from them instead. Too late I guess. I will never do business with Sur La Table again.

He gets great attention and the staff in the entire place knows parent's and children's names, even if your child is not in their class. We have a physical therapist that visits my son at daycare and she has seen many daycares over the years. She told me she can tell that the teachers really care about the kids and that's tough to find. It puts me at ease to know how flexible they are when it comes to food, schedules, and other preferences. I have heard so many scary stories online about daycare and I am so incredibly grateful that I cannot imagine picking my child up to find anything worse than maybe a little cranky mood or a mild diaper rash. We recently moved homes to a place a little further from Kiddie Kampus, but I knew we did not want to move too far so that my son could continue to attend here.

It's taken me approximately 6 years to complete this review, although it should take you only 6 minutes to decide to bring your kiddos to this place. These folks do God's work, literally daily. I don't have the patience or aptitude to do what they do, and I'm so thankful they're here. I can't imagine managing in this type of environment and the director, Jennifer is masterful. Like most businesses, there's turnover occasionally with teachers, but having had both of my kids go through most of their lives here, everyone has been caring and professional. Now, as you may have guessed, I'm not exactly the type of parent who is overly involved... err, micromanagey, so, I let them do them, and I'll do me. That arrangement seems to produce the best results. Kids will be kids, they'll do what they do, and again, these wonderful people are here daily watching them grow and teaching them stuff. My kids would've basically already turned into Blippi if they were home with me all day, because that's all they would ever do. The classrooms are clean, the grounds are nice and the kids are well taken care of. This place is a hidden gem and it's largely because of the people leading and the teachers commitment to the kids. I hate writing this because, the more people who read it, the more will bring their kids here, thus increasing my cost, but in this case, you have to know what it's like here-- I can't hide this gem any longer. It's wonderful. You would be lucky to find a place that's half as good as Lifeprints, and this place is the whole deal.

I had Sam do an in-person tasting for a Bachelorette in Scottsdale, and it was the highlight of the weekend! She picked 4 wines that were perfect for the group (literally on the first try) and made the process so easy to get everything prepped. During the tasting, she gave us enough knowledge about the wines in such a funny and approachable way. I think we laughed more than we drank! She answered all of our questions, and when we had someone unplanned join halfway through, she did not hesitate to engage with them and make them feel welcome. There is no better wine experience in-person or virtually. Her wine club is a perfect addition after or before the tasting because we left wanting more! 11/10 recommend booking Sam for any gathering. My best friend and I got to taste virtually with Sam, both from different locations! We have done this before in private tastings and in the group tastings. Tasting with Sam is SO MUCH FUN! I cannot recommend it enough. She meets you at your level. She makes it fun and interesting. And she gives amazing food pairings for the tasting! What I really loved about Maddy and the Your Jubilee team is that I never felt pushed or rushed in the decision making process. I had about 3 girls from the YJ team there (maybe even more?!) including Maddy. At one point Maddy was steaming my dress herself. The timing of everything was seamless. We even had our pup there and one of the YJ gals was walking him around during the reception! The winery offered cheese platters and a variety of wines. Since they didn't have food, we were allowed to bring in food from neighboring restaurants. I chose a glass of their sangria for my drink of choice. I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect blend of wine and citrus. The whole experience was awesome and I had so much fun! I love my painting and I already have it on my wall! I'm planning another one with the girls already! Jason is a really good teacher! He's patient, funny, and talented in addition to being able to survive a room of primarily women drinking and painting! I completely recommend Paint-A-holics for a girls night or a date night!
