Custom crepes at your own party - How awesome is that? I went to a brunch party today where there were about 20 adults. When I arrived, the crepe area was already set up and ready to go. I took a look and was impressed with the set up. I perused the laminated menus and then decided to be first in line. I got the butter and brown sugar crepe and my husband got the nutella and banana crepe. We both loved our crepes. Gavin, the crepe maker, was fast, didn't skimp on the ingredients, and had tons of fresh ingredients to choose from. Within just a few short minutes, my crepe was ready to go. We could either have our crepes on a plate or folded and in a paper wrapper; we opted for the folded paper wrapper option. We devoured our crepes after we let them cool down a bit. We both loved what we got and started eying the other options on the menu. We let everyone else get their crepes and then we went back for seconds! For my second crepe, I got a Dulce de leche and banana crepe and my husband got the "Brazilian" crepe which had salty white cheese with guava jelly. Gavin was happy to do any combination we wanted as well as infusing the crepe with cinnamon. The line got pretty long at times, so make sure this isn't the only thing you are serving at your party. It's a great addition to whatever else you might have available. It's also a great discussion topic if people aren't familiar with each other. My husband didn't know anyone at the brunch party, but he could talk crepes with them and then conversation continued from there. I loved this idea and I totally plan to use this for a future party. I don't know how much it cost the hosts exactly (the website gives some prices), but having free time during your party as well as zero clean up is very nice. read more

The whole process was a breeze from setting the menu to set up of his crepe cart and the clean up. Every single person at the shower loved the idea of Crepes made to order. Let's start with the owner: Gavin was on-site, cooking up each crepe on a mobile crepe station pretty much from scratch. The product: without a doubt the best crepes I've had. Ever. As I've read in other posts, he does not skimp on ingredients, and if he has the ingredients for it, he'll make it. The Dulce de leche is slap-your-mama good. I hosted a mini dinner for the ladies and decided to have their dinner and desert menu and I must say they did it again!!!!! Absolutely delicious crepes. My friend had Creative Crepes come out for my baby shower today. What a great idea! The crepes were delicious and it was the perfect size quick meal to compliment the veggie/fruit/cheese tray we had for snacks. There was a good variety of ingredients to choose from to make several different types of crepes. I personally went with the suggested combination of steak and cheese and I added buffalo sauce for a little kick. It was awesome! I should have had a second one! We had a work catered lunch by their crepe-making mobile unit as an employee appreciation. This couple was fast, efficient, VERY accomodating, and all smiles. There were about 80 of us, and we had both a lunch and a dessert crepe. They didn't miss a beat! They were super prepared with pre-measured portion sizes and all the fixings you could pick from yourself to make a customized crepe. However, if you're like me, and too many choices stress you out, they have preset recipes you can select from and they are just fantastic. Really, I've been wondering what event I can host with them to cater bc these were so amazing. The desert crepes were really good too, but I have been dreaming of their buffalo chicken and blue cheese crepe! Dreaming!!! Update July 28, 2015 Had the Creative Crepes team back out for now the fourth year in a row. This was again for our interns leaving at the end of July. We had about a dozen people and everyone had at least 2 crepes. They were all simple, elegant, and delicious. They truly get better every year! One of our guests is on a gluten free diet and Gavin never blinked. He put together a great crepe-less salad and she was very impressed. I think she was as impressed that he tried to make her happy as she was with the high quality food on her plate. If you have an event and are willing to spend about the same per person as you would in a decent restaurant, this will truly impress everyone. The postal lady came in just before he left and she did not know what a crepe was; Gavin made her a BBQ chicken crepe and now she is a true believer! Gavin, thanks for always going the extra mile and for providing massively high quality food for all! Aug. 19, 2013 I have used Creative Crepes twice in two years, once for a birthday party in the evening for adults and the other was for our office interns final day. The first was with about 75 guest and the office was a Friday noon with 20 people in the office. Both went off without a problem, the food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the people who serve were interacting with guests, etc. in a way that was engaging and yet unobtrusive. Did I say the food is FANTASTIC! You cannot go wrong with Gavin and Creative Crepes. For twenty people plus or minus you are looking at around $500 - They are good, filling food - as good as any restaurant but they come to you and then dessert crepes. I do not know how you can get a better deal for a cool concept. They will be back and SOON! read more

I had a bridal shower at my home in July 2014. I wanted to do something fun and unusual. I found Creative Crepes on the internet and read all of the reviews. Gavin did not disappoint. The crepes were amazing. We ordered the deluxe brunch menu. Fabulous!!! He will make your crepe to order and left us with some of the dessert crepes. After sampling the desserts I wish that we would have added those to the menu. Some of the husbands stopped in for brunch and did not go away hungry. Gavin and his lovely wife set up the crepe station in just minutes. They worked quickly and seemingly effortlessly while putting on a foodie show for everyone. I have no idea where they are or even if they have a place set up like Melange, but my gosh...this was the first I ever tasted a non-egg crepe, and it was stars bursting out of my eyes!!! I felt magical for a moment, maybe it was because I just ran a 5K at Trafigura, maybe it was because I never tasted the unique combination of Nutella, but that Nutella crepe was oh so yummy, I had lifted off to another world with just one bite. What makes it so exciting is you can request for catering, its so fast to make, I'm going to have a wedding one day soon, and I'm pretty sure I'll ask creative crepes for their works on my big day. Creative Crepes catered a toddlers birthday party for me in Dec 2015 at my home and it was one of the best catering experiences I have ever had. I was initially trepid about having a hot crepe station at a party with toddlers (ages 18m -5y) and small children running around, but Gavin was amazing. We were still setting up for the party when he arrived early and set up in the dining room. He was meticulous about the location of his station as he was aware of the traffic. He positioned himself so that he was out of the way and inaccessible to any curious 2 yr olds all without being prompted. We had let him know we were expecting about 25 people and were interested in both a savory and a sweet crepe per guest. He was well prepared and was incredibly accommodating when we ended up with almost 10 more people than anticipated. When I spoke to Gavin on the phone I was concerned about one person handling a crepe station for 25-30 people. He did not skip a beat, the line for food never got more than 2 people deep and did not last more than 5-6 mins. Throughout the chaos that was the birthday party he made amazing food and also kept the guests engaged and entertained. All of the guests were raving about the food, as were the kids (and toddlers can be notoriously picky). Everything was fresh and well made and presented. We were able to mingle and enjoy the party with our guests as 15 mins into the event we knew Gavin had the food covered. We are definitely going to using Creative Crepes again. A pleasure to work with, impeccable service and delicious food. We look forward to their brick and mortar store coming this summer. read more
