Dancers greeting my guests in the entrance!

First of all, I'm really really happy that I chose Samba2Love to perform for my bridal shower. Sandra was really sweet and informative with their services, the ladies came on time and exceeded my expectations! They were adorable and left my guests in awe! I highly recommend you use their services, their prices are reasonable and it adds a sweet touch to any of your events! Thank you Sandra & Samba2Love!

Where do I start... Sandra was so professional explained the whole process to me and sent me videos of past performances since this was new to me. She communicates well with me and has me up to date with all her steps. I wanted a surprise Samba dance for my husband's 40th Birthday and boy they did not disappoint!!!! Both dancers were classy and professional and made the party so much fun! Best entertainment ever! Angelica Gonzalez

I highly recommend this place for any event or party. The entertainers are legit professionals that know what they are doing. Very impressed! Everyone was blown away at our event and I will definitely hire for future events and recommend to friends and family. I am so happy to have found Samba2Love!

From beginning to end, working with Sandra was an absolute pleasure. We planned our own wedding, and we were lucky enough to work with some really amazing people. Sandra made communication effortless! She went above and beyond to make sure we understood what booking Samba2Love entailed, and was transparent about pricing! Everything was easy and clear, and that for me meant so much. Sandra checked in on us throughout the time leading up to the big day, which just really reassured us in our decision to book. We waited for our wedding anxiously, keeping this performance set a big surprise for our guests! On our special day, Sandra checked in on me first thing in the morning. That simple gesture really set a good tone for the day. As the hour neared my partner and I could hardly wait. And then, after some very sentimental toasts, and quite a few tears, the room became quiet. Out no where there was a burst of incredibly energetic music, and these amazing performers came through the doors. The ballroom lit up, and everyone was in awe. After a tantalizing performance by the trio, my partner and I were brought up to join them. That was so much fun! Then they engaged our crowd and brought everyone out to the dance floor. The dancers made sure our guest got some awesome photo opportunities, and that was so special to us. We even had a conga line to top it off! Do yourself a favor and go with Samba2Love. You won't regret it. Thank you Sandra & team, you made our wedding dreams come true!

Let me start off by saying that Sandra is the person you want in your corner! when you work 14 hrs a day and take forever to reply, she still worked with me. She was beyond patient and I am sooooo happy we hired Samba2love for our wedding. She made sure to coordinate with the DJ she was on top of everything without involving me I was absolutely stress free. The performances we're amazing! The girls absolutely beautiful, amazing personalities, and deff involved my guests in the conga line! We are always having parties and I am so happy I found them because we will be using them. Reasonable pricing and they give 1000% more than what you expect! THANK YOU SAMBA 2 LOVE!

Absolutely wonderful performers with great energy and unmatched professionalism. They showed up and SHOWED OUT! Truly spectacular. I highly recommend Samba2Love for all your entertainment needs. Look no further! Samba2Love is the perfect addition to any event or occasion.

We had 2 dancers perform for an hour for a graduation party and they did amazing. They danced very well and got the whole party up and dancing. Will definitely be having them for future parties. They made it an unforgettable night.

where do I start.... 1. I had to help throw a bachelor party and wanted to do something different so I looked into having something small and at our home 2. Covid hit so we had to delay our festivities but thankfully even though we couldn't get our deposit back (which was fine, because I could have thrown another party, not a big deal) but it was easy to reschedule once we had a date 3. Bachelor party turned into a bachelor/bachelorette party and this was PERFECT!! everyone had a great time. Sandra and her other partner danced for us and then got the crowd involved. They did a great job showing love to both the groom and bride to be! Made for great photo ops before their big day as well!! next big day we have, my first call for entertainment will be Sandra and her Samba2Love! Gotta love the pun.

    The excellent performers.

I came here with friends to watch Rayuela Hacia EL Mas Alla. It was all in Spanish, but for those like me that only have 2 years of high school Spanish, there were subtitles projected on the top of the stage. The play was a dark comedy with a little bit of everything. It had humor, drama, terror, a love story and a "non-hollywood ending." Going in with an open mind and not knowing what the play was about, I was blown away. Parts of the play made me think of Guillermo Del Toros Pans Labyrinth and Kurt Vonnegut from my AP English class in high school. With its morbid beauty and dystopian setting. It amazed me how such a large story could be played out on such a small stage with just a few actors through the use of lighting, minimal props, and and the expression of those actors. Kudos to Laura Santa Cruz and Manuel Chitay for a wonderful performance. It was very creative how they used the same projector to animate the clocks and show the passage of time. As well as (not to give anything away) execute certain scenes. This play is very unique in the sense that every few weeks they change the ending and have a different actress. Which not only brings a different take on the story but keeps you coming back for more.

Originally opening in 1926 as Hollywood's largest legitimate theater, it has hosted everything from Broadway productions to iconic film premieres, including Citizen Kane. After a meticulous restoration led by The Walt Disney Company, the theater reopened in 1991 and has since become Disney's flagship theater on Hollywood Boulevard. Today, it serves as Disney's home for world premieres, special events, live stage shows, and screenings of both new releases and beloved classics. The theater's stunning architecture and historic significance even earned it Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument status. I have seen countless Disney films here over the years and every visit feels special. The atmosphere, the themed displays, and the beautifully restored interior make it feel much more memorable than a typical movie theater outing. Another bonus is the convenient parking. You can park directly across the street at Ovation Hollywood and with validation from the theater, parking is just $3 for up to four hours. They have about 4 or 5 performances throughout the day but my advice is to get there early if you want a good seat. If the show has a start time of 1PM we would typically start waiting in line at around 12PM. Even then you probably won't be the first people in line but you will still get a good seat. Once the line starts getting long they start making people go up the ramp and start making line up there. Be aware if you start going up your whole party must be with you as they will not let anyone go up that is left downstairs. Be aware that in this are you must fill in all the empty space. People do try to cut to get to the front so just be aware of that. Once they open the doors you enter from all the way up top unless you are handicapped then you are let in downstairs. You can choose to sit up top which is still a nice view but if you want to be up close you will need to make your way down all the stairs to make it to the front. As far as the show for the 2024 season they did change it up and make a just a little bit more modern which I loved. The performers all did an amazing job and of course we all love seeing the peanuts characters perform on ice. It was a great show and I hope they keep it the same next year or if they do change it I hope it is for the better. I do miss the summer show that they used to put on in this theatre. I'm not sure why they got rid of it but I hope they bring it back one day. If you come here during the holidays this is a must see show for all ages.

2026 Season - April 4, 2026 - May 17, 2026…read more This visit applies strictly to the very last day of the season - May 17, 2026 As a first-timer to any Renaissance Pleasure Faire, there was a lot of anticipation on my part, having seen numerous videos on social media & YouTube. As always, I think the best policy is always to curb any & all expectations. Parking - Perhaps my biggest criticism of my entire experience. This is a rather specific situation that pertains strictky to ADA Handicap Parking. There is a specific lot that is designated for handicap parking - Lot 3 of the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area (where the Ren Faire takes place). However, Lot 3 is situated farther than most parking = you have to walk much farther away than most of the other guests. It's ironic in that ADA Handicap Parking should allow you to be closer to the event's entrance. Perhaps the only advantage to parking in this distant lot is that your car will not be caught in the middle of the chaos of everyone else trying to leave. It very evident that this was an oversight when faire organizers made decision to have the event take place at Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area. If there's a way to modify this for future seasons, this would be the biggest improvement that they could make. FOOD Tri-Tip Sandwich ($18) - 6.0/ 10 It's to be expected, but you're definitely going to be paying for more than what you receive - inflation, labor costs, etc. That said, it's fairly hard to mess-up tri-tip. It's not necessarily dry, but the drizzle of bbq sauce helps. Frankly, I wished I asked for more bbq sauce (on the side). The tri tip is served in a roll that's slightly wider than a hot dog bun. It wasn't anything to "write home about", but it's seemed like a better option than most. 1 sandwich is only substantial enough to be a snack. Granted, I walked a good 10 minutes (to the jousting arena) before enjoying my sandwich, I think it would had been helpful if it was served much warmer. French Fries - 6.0 / 10 It's french fries. I will say that the portion is very generous. There was more than enough for me & my friend, so I'd even say it'd be enough fro 3-4 people, assuming it's being shared as a side. Again, maybe it's because I waited a good 10 minutes (buying a beer, walking over to the jousting arena) before enjoying the fries, but it might have been helpful if they could be served a bit warmer. They were still pretty crispy (more on the well-done side, which I prefer). Just some things to note (especially as a 1st timer): - Dress-Up. You're in the 16th Century / Elizabethan Era. So knights, nobleman, peasants, merchants, inn-keepers, plague doctors. But basically, in 2026 at least, anything that isn't "modern" (the past 100 years) is fair game. You can literally see almost anything & it wouldn't seem too out-of-pocket. Yeah, you'll get some strange looks & comments, but people get over it fairly quickly. Just dress-up. - Try to speak "in-character". Whatever it is that you decide to go as, try to "play the part". The volunteers / workers will respond to you accordingly & will "play along". Embrace it & have fun. - The focus of the faire is the shops. That's fine. Get your shopping-on & support these vendors. But there's also many games / activities (archery, axe throwing, dunk tank, how long you hang on a bar, etc.), manually-powered rides, performance shows, & craft activities (making chain mail, sewing, casting coins, & other cool stuff). Like anything else, you get what you put in. Bring your enthusiasm & pack your patience. Also knowing what I know now, I'm definitely going to focus more on my next visit with more investment in my costume (granted I came dressed as a humble peasant).
