    Ice skating show
    Irene Y.

Wow, I am really surprised that no one has reviewed this establishment! It's a landmark destination at Knott's Berry Farm and home to one of my all time favorite ice skating shows- It's Christmas Snoopy. I'm not clear on whether this theatre hosts ice skating shows throughout the year, but my family and I always look forward to paying this theatre an annual visit in December to relive happy memories. I've been coming here since I was a little girl and plan to keep the tradition for many years to come. The winter performance features Snoopy and friends in a large 2100 seat auditorium and yes, America's favorite beagle can ice skate- craziness! But without spoiling the show to prospective patrons, in essence it's a great show family friendly show with the Peanut gang and other professional ice skaters dancing to fun choreography all while tackling difficult spins and lifts. It's an entertaining show and a perfect spot to rest and relax your feet from a long day at the park. The theatre is however, located in a somewhat unconventional area. It's next to the bumper cars, but patrons need to walk along a large spiral staircase (view pictures) to enter the building. Handicapped patrons can be escorted in by theatre reps near the exit sign at bottom part of the theatre. Overall, the venue is a great place to watch a show and I wouldn't know a better place to see Santa Snoopy come to life.

This theater is located in the back corner of the park by Iron Reef so it's kind of a walk and hidden, but whatever show they have going on here it's well worth the walk and wait AND there's not really a bad seat in the house! What I love about Knott's that Disney lacks is that they actually have entertainment here in the park and most of their shows incorporate Snoopy (unless it's Halloween time) and it really does melt your heart even if you have little to no expectations! I've seen Elvira perform here numerous times, I've seen the Christmas Snoopy on ice show and today I saw the summer Beach, Blanket, Beagle show today and they were all amazing! Unless you pay to go see a musical, you're hard pressed to find live singing and dancing in this town for free or included with your admission to an amusement park. The dancers and actors are all good and sometimes the dialogue and storyline are cheesy, but for some reason it's timed right and works. I had low expectations for the Beach, Blanket, Beagle show today and was blown away by the casts opening number which was exhausting to watch but seriously impressive considering it was a long opener with dancing, water, singing, acting, etc. Snoopy came out and just turned me into a kid again and then, out of nowhere a freakin' fire dancer comes out!! WTF?!! Also the set design wasn't bad either with lighting props, rain, etc. It was like I was watching a taping of a live Snoopy show for T.V. In the winter, the Snoopy on ice show was another one I had low expectations for and by the end I was crying and happy it was Christmas time. Who knew live ice skating Snoopy would like melt my ba-humbug attitude?! So supposedly last fall was Elvira's last show at Knott's but OMG! What a damn good show that was! It strayed from the family theme of Knott's and featured hot male dancers a Cadillac, the world famous Jackie Beat and live singing, dancing and acting! If you're at Knott's and something, anything is showing at Charles M. Schultz theater make sure to find the theater in the corner and check it out. Whatever show it it, it will not disappoint !

"It's Christmas Snoopy" Christmas time is here. Happiness and cheer. Fun for all that children call their special time of year. During the holiday season, Knott's Berry Farm transfers itself into Knott's Merry Farms. If you are one who loves Christmas, it's a marvelous time to be here. One of the highlights is certainly the wonderful ice show starring the most famous hound dog with drooping ears in "It's Christmas Snoopy". Presented in the 2,100 seat Charles M. Schulz Theater. Snoopy and his Peanut friends are in search of the meaning of Christmas. There is music, costume changes, brilliant sets and creative lighting. With a cast of 11 professional skaters, they dazzle the audience with spectacular spirals, axel jumps and overhead lifts with grace and style. The 40-minute show also features clips from "A Charlie Brown Christmas", white doves flying on stage and snow flakes dropping down. We brought our daughter to see her first show when she was 5, more than 20 years ago and we've been back every year since. Entertaining and enjoyable for all ages.

    Waiting for Snoopy!!!!

The ice show never disappoints. Costumes are great, choreographer is a genius in this small area. Great pit stop when it hot out its always nice and cool here.

I really like this theater you can see everything from any angle. if you ant to sit front/center be willing to wait. We sat on the right hand side towards the middle. The theater was spacious and sat many people. We did not have to wait at all for Elvira show and we got descent seats. It was great to see Elvira live, I am glad I got to see her, this is her last year here at Knott's.

    Fantastic talent

If you visit Knotts Berry Farm in the winter, don't miss the "It's Christmas Snoopy" ice skating show. This show will not only fill you with the Christmas spirit, but you will be impressed by the high quality perfomance. The theater is VERY large, great sound quality, gorgeous lighting. You will NOT be disappointed, great for ALL ages, a tradition in my family. A must see.

What happens when you show up late...and by late, I mean an hour earlier than the posted show time.

Saw coupon deals on this through Groupon, so why not?…read moreI've been to Medieval Times as a kid, but never been to the Pirate show until now as an adult. You'll have to call in to let them know that you have a Groupon deal. Went for the last showing of the night so we could enjoy more of the evening and not feel like we would be hurried out for the next group. Upon arrival, the parking lot was full, both the one on top and bottom. Tried the street, but it was permit parking only. Noticed some Porto's customers were parking in this lot as well. I thought it was a paid to park lot. There are some parking spots, but everyone double parks over the line, so each parking space was a tight squeeze, we had no choice, but to squeeze in. When you check in at the window they will print your receipt for your booking and charge you $8 parking on their lot. Honestly there's no one checking the lot, but it's out first time, so we do. Paid extra and bought an upgraded ticket, so we're guaranteed a good seat and it came with a headband, beaded necklace and discount on their photo package. Once you enter you get your photos taken and then you are ushered to the giftshop or bar area. By the way the giftshop area is where you will enter the stage/dining area. Who knew?!?! Luckily there are people who will take you to your seat so you're not lost. You are seated by team colors. The server there, Darla, was really nice. She got our drinks, and meals in the timely basis. The only thing that took a while when you're at your seat was the appetizer and bar drinks. The appetizer was another server; the onion rings was not great, pretty soggy. The bar drink person took the longest. Was half way into the main entree when that server came to get the order. I would have liked towards the beginning after being seated to enjoy. Plus it was very stuffy and hot. Mind you the alcoholic drinks were expensive at $21 each, but you get to keep your souvenir glass. You're not here for the food, but rather the show. Food is not bad, it's like a quarter of a rotisserie chicken with boiled veggies, mashed potatoes, salad, and a slice of cake at the end. It's very kid friendly and entertaining with acrobats, singing, and sword fighting. Depending on your team color you cheer on for your pirate color. Go team orange! It's almost a 2 hour experience with dining and show. Overall if you just go once in your life, it's enough. It's a novelty.

When I called back I was greeted by Destiny who was probably the most condescending person I've spoken too in years. Several times she felt the need to sarcastically re-explain herself after I already told her I understood. Even after me mentioning I was coming for a special event (and hoping maybe that would have some weight to get her to attempt some common courtesy) she was still super rude, disrespectful, and just overall made me not want to come here. I haven't even attended, eaten or been in the Buena Park area yet and she already made such a horrible impression of her company. I wish I was able to speak to the other two phone agents who were actually attempting to be helpful. Fingers crossed my actual dining and show experience makes up for her lack of customer service.

They have a parking lot with people directing where to park. It was busy with lots of people waiting in line. A great deal of people dressed up! Nice. We didn't dress up. Lol.. I had brought a dress that could work, but I didn't change into it. Inside the dining room, it was freezing! Super cold. I'm glad that I was wearing my jacket, but my boyfriend was feeling pretty cold. The performing artists were entertaining and gave us a good show! My advice would be to have fun with it, go with a group if possible and to dress up! Music was blasting throughout the festival, creating a fun atmosphere, but be prepared for long lines for both ordering and food pickup. Most vendors were cashless and accepted credit cards, Zelle, or Venmo, although some did take cash. A few vendors even made the long trek down from the Bay Area. The biggest challenge was definitely the heat. It was a hot day, and the event could have used more shaded areas. Lots of people gathered around the tables to cool off, while others were there to actually eat. The food was okay overall, but I'm hoping to try the BBQ next time around. My favorite was the Mango Crumble halo-halo from D Baker's Lab--definitely worth trying! Prices can add up quickly, so I'd recommend going with friends and sharing dishes. That way, you can sample more without spending a small fortune. Heads up: the sticky rice line was REALLY long. If you're driving, bring a cooler with plenty of water. You'll save money on drinks and, more importantly, stay hydrated while you're out in the heat. Overall, a fun free event with plenty of food, shopping, music, and mango-filled treats. Just come prepared for the heat and the lines!
