If you come to Knott's often then you know this is where they have the ice skating rink and put on an amazing Christmas show. They have about 4 or 5 performances throughout the day but my advice is to get there early if you want a good seat. If the show has a start time of 1PM we would typically start waiting in line at around 12PM. Even then you probably won't be the first people in line but you will still get a good seat. Once the line starts getting long they start making people go up the ramp and start making line up there. Be aware if you start going up your whole party must be with you as they will not let anyone go up that is left downstairs. Be aware that in this are you must fill in all the empty space. People do try to cut to get to the front so just be aware of that. Once they open the doors you enter from all the way up top unless you are handicapped then you are let in downstairs. You can choose to sit up top which is still a nice view but if you want to be up close you will need to make your way down all the stairs to make it to the front. As far as the show for the 2024 season they did change it up and make a just a little bit more modern which I loved. The performers all did an amazing job and of course we all love seeing the peanuts characters perform on ice. It was a great show and I hope they keep it the same next year or if they do change it I hope it is for the better. I do miss the summer show that they used to put on in this theatre. I'm not sure why they got rid of it but I hope they bring it back one day. If you come here during the holidays this is a must see show for all ages. read more

They do 2 shows that I know of, Beach Blanket Beagle which is in the summer and Snoopy on Ice. The stadium holds up to 2000 people. I prefer the Snoopy on Ice versus Beach Blanket Beagle, but both shows are pretty good and entertaining. They do sell show light up neon sticks which can interfere with your eyes as well. I will not review the show itself, but the best seat is up in front 2nd row in the middle as you can see everything. I never sat up in front for Beach Blanket Beagle though. They also have events there as well as I remember in high school the award ceremony was there. Oh yes no eating or drinking during the show and make sure your entire party is there. read more

This year's performance, entitled "Merry Christmas Snoopy" is quite brilliant! Tourists gain entry to Knott's Berry Farm and experience major adrenaline rushes when riding Knott's roller coasters. However during the months of November through the first week in January, there's and added treat: Snoopy on Ice. You do not have to pay an extra fee to watch this performance as it is included in the price of admission. Located in the southwest corner of Knotts' property is The Charles M. Schulz Theater. Showtimes vary depending upon the day of the week so be sure to pick up a schedule as you enter the park. It is not uncommon to see a long line stretching around the corner or to arrive 20 minutes prior to showtime only to discover that the arena is full. I highly recommend that you arrive 40 minutes to one hour before showtime to secure a seat. Once seated inside, the fun begins. The skating rink seems rather small but a lot is accomplished within this space. Charlie Brown and Linus will open the show, reviewing the rules for watching the performance: ex. no flash photography or video recording. Throughout the performance, you'll notice some religious undertones as recalled by Linus. A bit of a historical/patriotic tribute also takes center stage as figure skaters reenact scenes of soldiers returning from war in the 1940s. The music played in the background compliments each scene. It's absolutely beautiful! Snoopy is the star of the show and he is able to execute each move with ease. He never ignores the audience, often coming to three points on the stage (left, center, and right side) so that audience members can take photos during the performance. Snow (soap foam) falls from the ceiling to imitate snowfall during the winter season. Professional ice skaters perform moves effortlessly just like some of the best Olympians. The combination of talented professionals and Snoopy results in an unforgettable show that appeals to people of all ages from various walks of life. The most awe-inspiring/emotional part of the show is when Snoopy awaits the arrival of doves that fly toward him and land on the stage. Some might be startled as the doves fly over their heads, but it's truly a magical moment. Snoopy on Ice is a show that should not be missed if you are at Knott's Berry Farm during the winter months. Who doesn't enjoy watching trained professionals perform in an intimate setting with the help of "America's Favorite Beagle"? Wow, I am really surprised that no one has reviewed this establishment! It's a landmark destination at Knott's Berry Farm and home to one of my all time favorite ice skating shows- It's Christmas Snoopy. I'm not clear on whether this theatre hosts ice skating shows throughout the year, but my family and I always look forward to paying this theatre an annual visit in December to relive happy memories. I've been coming here since I was a little girl and plan to keep the tradition for many years to come. The winter performance features Snoopy and friends in a large 2100 seat auditorium and yes, America's favorite beagle can ice skate- craziness! But without spoiling the show to prospective patrons, in essence it's a great show family friendly show with the Peanut gang and other professional ice skaters dancing to fun choreography all while tackling difficult spins and lifts. It's an entertaining show and a perfect spot to rest and relax your feet from a long day at the park. The theatre is however, located in a somewhat unconventional area. It's next to the bumper cars, but patrons need to walk along a large spiral staircase (view pictures) to enter the building. Handicapped patrons can be escorted in by theatre reps near the exit sign at bottom part of the theatre. Overall, the venue is a great place to watch a show and I wouldn't know a better place to see Santa Snoopy come to life. read more

This theater is located in the back corner of the park by Iron Reef so it's kind of a walk and hidden, but whatever show they have going on here it's well worth the walk and wait AND there's not really a bad seat in the house! What I love about Knott's that Disney lacks is that they actually have entertainment here in the park and most of their shows incorporate Snoopy (unless it's Halloween time) and it really does melt your heart even if you have little to no expectations! I've seen Elvira perform here numerous times, I've seen the Christmas Snoopy on ice show and today I saw the summer Beach, Blanket, Beagle show today and they were all amazing! Unless you pay to go see a musical, you're hard pressed to find live singing and dancing in this town for free or included with your admission to an amusement park. The dancers and actors are all good and sometimes the dialogue and storyline are cheesy, but for some reason it's timed right and works. I had low expectations for the Beach, Blanket, Beagle show today and was blown away by the casts opening number which was exhausting to watch but seriously impressive considering it was a long opener with dancing, water, singing, acting, etc. Snoopy came out and just turned me into a kid again and then, out of nowhere a freakin' fire dancer comes out!! WTF?!! Also the set design wasn't bad either with lighting props, rain, etc. It was like I was watching a taping of a live Snoopy show for T.V. In the winter, the Snoopy on ice show was another one I had low expectations for and by the end I was crying and happy it was Christmas time. Who knew live ice skating Snoopy would like melt my ba-humbug attitude?! So supposedly last fall was Elvira's last show at Knott's but OMG! What a damn good show that was! It strayed from the family theme of Knott's and featured hot male dancers a Cadillac, the world famous Jackie Beat and live singing, dancing and acting! If you're at Knott's and something, anything is showing at Charles M. Schultz theater make sure to find the theater in the corner and check it out. We've been coming to Knott's for Christmas with my extended family (read 40 of us) for at least 6 years. It's a tradition we have loved, watching the kids wide eyed with excitement and now watching them take their first roller coaster rides... Seeing Snoopy on Ice and the Christmas show at the Schulz theater has been an integral part of our tradition. We love that it's a Christmas show and that we are wished a Merry Christmas. I can't stand the Happy Holidays crap that is so politically correct. I mean, I wish my Jewish friends Happy Chanukah during the season... We were hoping for our typical two rows of seats as we all made a dash to meet up for the last performance. We were waiting in line when my 4 year old needed to go potty. Fine, we left our place line where my cousins were and we went to the bathroom down the ramp. To our surprise, we weren't allowed to rejoin our party and we had to wait at the end of the line! To make it worse, as we approached the font of the bottom area by the bumper cars, the Knott's lady said the show was full. Wtf? Nice way to ruin our tradition. What they should do, is allow you to register for tickets or assigned seats like a Disney Fast Pass kind of thing, so the long line and the confusion of separating your party or holding seats (which everyone still does, BTW (Knott's why don't you enforce that instead of breaking up parties??)) is a non-issue. Since most attendees are pass holders, anyway, let us use our bar code on our passes to get tickets, legit e-tickets, with assigned seating. This will make queueing in line a thing of the past. Think about it, Knott's, you can have guests still spending $$ on food, drinks, games, etc. up until 5 minutes before show time. You'd get more people to buy passes (like you need to) as this would be an annual pass perk, and you'll increase the guest satisfaction (have you ever had to hold a fussy 2 year old in your arms for over an hour, waiting in line with no use of a stroller???) For non pass holders, they can queue up for stand by or no shows. All I'm saying is consider it. You've got a great show and a nice theater. You don't want your guests leaving feeling like Charlie Brown when Lucy took the football away, do you? read more

During the holiday season, Knott's Berry Farm transfers itself into Knott's Merry Farms. If you are one who loves Christmas, it's a marvelous time to be here. One of the highlights is certainly the wonderful ice show starring the most famous hound dog with drooping ears in "It's Christmas Snoopy". Presented in the 2,100 seat Charles M. Schulz Theater. Snoopy and his Peanut friends are in search of the meaning of Christmas. There is music, costume changes, brilliant sets and creative lighting. With a cast of 11 professional skaters, they dazzle the audience with spectacular spirals, axel jumps and overhead lifts with grace and style. The 40-minute show also features clips from "A Charlie Brown Christmas", white doves flying on stage and snow flakes dropping down. We saw Snoopy on Ice, and it was surprisingly delightful. The production was higher quality than I was expecting. I was so nervous about getting a seat, but the theater is much larger than I thought. There really was no need to wait in line over 30 minutes before the show. I loved that it was air conditioned on a scorching, hot summer day. I am excited to see the Christmas show based on Yelp reviews. Bottom Line: Worth visiting if you want to be in a climate controlled theater and enjoy a show. read more

I think it is great there are so many five star ratings here...just not my experience. We arrived an hour before the show was scheduled and found ourselves beyond the coffee shop around the corner. When did these people start lining up? Yesterday?! Now don't get me wrong...if I judged the entire rating on the wait alone we would have a star with an explanation that it just doesn't allow me to rate lower than that. But the performance overall is not bad at all...maybe even five stars~! It's just the crowds getting in and getting out, the poor views if you are stuck in the corners like we were that really bring this experience down. The performers were pretty amazing. Well synched and very visually expressive. The atmosphere was fair and the kids were better behaved than expected. I'd go back with someone who wants to see it for the first time...but this is only my second time with the last being 15years ago~! read more

So I wish I could review the actual show itself, but unfortunately the one day my family decided to go, driving from 3 hours out of town, is the one day a week the show does not go on. Wednesday. I wish this would be advertised more clearly that the ice show is not every night. The website does list dates the show is performed, but you have to actually go into the link to see it posted. It is definitely not advertised as a special event only occurring on certain nights. I thought it was a main event attraction that could be seen any day of Merry Farm. Well, lesson learned, do your homework before going, especially if you don't want to miss one of the biggest shows they offer. Pretty bummed. read more

They really do a great job with these Snoopy on ice Christmas shows!!! I am always amazed at what great skating and tricks they can do on such a small stage. Totally worth seeing if you've never seen it. Keep up the good work. They openly share the true Christmas message. I hope they will ALWAYS continue with that tradition!! .....that being said, one of the funnest parts of the show is to see what new choreography and costumes they will show "this year"! Well it was a huge disappointment because every skate show and all costumes they did for 2017 was in another show that I've seen! Every single one of them........I don't know if it was a complete do over of last years or the year before but it was completely disappointing!!! They saved a lot of money in not having to design a new show but, to me, so sad! We get passes every year and look forward to it..... should we not bother next year??? read more

I seen snoopy on ice and loved it. I also seen another show here a few summers ago and what I remember of that show I liked. In the summer the theater is a cool place to be for about an hour. For the longest time I did not know where this place was. It's by the bumper cars an the second floor of the building. Inside the theater is huge and is rather clean. I will keep seeing the shows just to sit and have a cool place to be mainly in the summer. read more
