I was very skeptical about this business, I read up on the doctors and the office and drove by went inside for service but left because I wasn't sure about the service. However, I went back today and to my surprise they were very professional and my wait was not long. I spoke with two doctors,and asked a lot of questions they both explained everything and made be feel comfortable about the services I was having performed. Dr, Mukunda provided the service and she and her assistant was great and the prices were affordable. Unfortunate, the business department could use better training. One of the young ladies who was working on my bill insisted I pay for my services up front, now this was a first for me I never experience this at a doctor or dentist office. I asked if this was normal, beside I was using two different type of popular insurance coverage and my balance was only $236. She stated we have to do this because people don't pay before they leave I was shocked by her response and did not argue I paid, but still concern and not feeling comfortable about this process. It turned out the doctor did not have to do what she anticipated, therefore, the job was easier than she expected and she stated we will remove those charges from your bill at the end. As I was leaving I stopped by the front desk and stated I am due a refund and the young lady stated your insurance company will have to refund you we can't refund you anything back again in disbelief. I said you debited my credit card too early this is why you should have waited until the services was completed, so you would have known exactly what to charge me, now you have taken my cash and sharing with me I will have to wait for the insurance company to refund me. This totally made the experience sour and this one event will make me think twice about going back even thou I like the doctors. I hope this comment will help the next person. read more

Be careful using this dentist. I went in with a cavity and they came back with a care plan that totalled $8,000, saying I needed two crowns and additional cavities filled. I went to Aspen Dental a few days later. I have only one cavity and the dentist said a crown on those two teeth would be a bad idea. My bill at Aspen will be something like $275. TWO years and 6 months ago I visited this office off Shadeland Ave in Indianapolis. I paid my bill in full at the visit. Last month, I received a $30+ bill in the mail. I called because it had been 2 years and 6 months. I remember paying my bill in full. So, I called and I was told by a woman that "It was a mistake, that several of their patients had received a notice and they updated their system and it was generating bills like this and that their office was getting lots of calls." I was also told the manager would be calling me to let me know that I did not owe this. I was told not to pay and that the manager would call. Crickets. No phone call. Today, I received a bill again and called. I was told by them that my insurance was billed but wouldn't cover the final cost of the consultation. When I explained what I was told at the visit and what I was told at the first phone call after receiving the first bill. The woman who sounded eerily just like the woman I spoke to a month ago said, "I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOLD YOU THAT (loudly)." She kept talking over me and cutting me off. I asked her 5 times to let me finish my explanation, she abruptly put me on hold. Talked to the manager. Nope - I have to pay. Their billing is screwy!!!! I was wanting my front four silver crowns to be removed due to upper lip irritation from the actual crowns. I was asking for them to take them out and remove them. obviously they didn't want to do it from the beginning. I walked into the office with an appointment I done made. I spoke to lady at the front desk she said she could not bring my insurance up due to the site being down. I would not recommend them to anyone. I called a month ago to get scheduled for a consult. They scheduled me for an appointment then a few days later I received a confirmation text with a different day and time. I shrugged this off and made it to the visit. Visit with the doctor went well. They sent me back up front to get an estimate on the extraction or treatment plan where I was told that they did not get my insurance info. I let them know that I handed that in when we did the pre-registration and when coming into the office. She said that this is supposed to be taken when the appointment is scheduled so that they can get the out of pocket expense. Again, fine. Then she said today's consult will be $125.00. I let her know that I was not aware there would be a fee for consult then she told me the person who scheduled the appt should have told me. My wife and I went to get her tooth pulled last Saturday. Until today, she still haven't received a prescription for her infection. We've called four times within the past week to no avail, the dentist, Dr Wagner is always busy. I work in healthcare e myself so I know, but you can take a few minute to call in a prescription, that should be a priority when your pt is in pain. And frankly, it's part of your job. We were also supposed to be contacted for an impression so my wife can get the new tooth attached on her partial. No news on that front either. Called at 9 to see if they could get me in she said she'd put me down for 12. decided to just head there and try to do a walk in because my tooth hurt really bad and they said I could do a walk in if it got worse. Waited 2 hours and then they announces it's be another 2-3 hour wait. Went home and called it a loss. Get a text my check in is at 4 now. Show up in hopes I'll get seen around 3:50 finally. Another hour wait and I watch two people who just got there get called back instead meaning I'll have another 1-2 hour wait. The pain is so bad I want to take a baseball bat to my face and I pushed off taking anything for it incase I needed an extraction or something surgical. Incredibly disappointing. Got a tooth extraction around 230pm, not only were they rude but they kept leaving the door wide open through the entire experience. Patient privacy doesn't seem too important at this location. Afterwards, we asked them to send the medication to the local Walmart. They told us they would probably be able to send in the antibiotics and pain meds today but it might have to wait until TOMORROW! On their website and front door it says this location is open until 8pm. After waiting for 20 minutes we give them a call and they closed 4 hours early. We gave their second location a call if they are able to help us, we were informed they couldn't get a hold of the Castleton location and will be calling their manager to get an explanation. Worst case scenario, the dentist at the second location will write the script. Terrible experience, never going back. read more

I have never had a pleasant experience with dentists, but I enjoyed my visit at Same Day Dental. I had a chipped molar that was driving me crazy. It didn't hurt, but it was uncomfortable. Dr. Erwin & Ms. Maude were very nice and explained everything to me in detail to where I could understand. They made me feel comfortable and they addressed all my concerns. I got two fills done and my mouth feels so much better. Even the young ladies at the front desk were very nice and funny! I wish I would have gotten their names. Same Day Dental in Castleton was AMAZING! from the minute I walked in the door I was greeted by a lovely young lady. She was sweet, helpful & a delight to talk to. I feel bad that I didn't get her name bc I was in too much pain at that time. The Castleton location is amazing. Had a tooth pulled last Friday and my amoxicillin and Tylenol were ready to be picked up at the pharmacy when I got there. I came back to the Castleton location 2 days ago as I thought I had a dry socket I was told that I don't have a dry socket the receptionist, dentist and the dental assistant were very amazing and understood my concerns and anxiety about thinking I had a dry socket. The dentist cleaned out my tooth extraction site and got the debris out of that area. I will be back to the Castleton location in the future. read more

My mom went for an emergency visit due to a tooth ache. Dr. Beache and the dental assistants, did a great job. Everyone at the clinic were amazing, very friendly, and she had the problem solved that same day. We continued her treatment here and she is very happy with the service that has been provided . I can read other reviews complaining about the waiting times. This is an emergency clinic as well, and we are grateful she could be seen on a Sunday. The waiting times have not been bad at all. BEWARE! Same day dental in Castleton charged me for a root canal and crown and did not do the work! They charged my debit card $1678.50 and never returned the money! The Doctor was trying to do a root canal on the wrong tooth. I caught the mistake just before they started working on me. The tooth that was in pain was not the tooth they where trying to do the root canal and crown on! I ask to do a return on my debit card and they said they did not do that! I would have to have home office do that and it would take a couple of days! This was on 8-9-2022 and its now 8-24-22 and was told its would take another 40 days on 8-23-22. My son chipped two teeth on a Friday night and we needed help fast. I scheduled online after they were closed and got an appointment for Saturday at 11 AM. Front desk lady was super. Warned me that although I had an 11am appointment time it would be a 1-1.5 hour wait. I know that happens because they have dental emergencies abs I was just grateful for the warning and help. They called me after I went back home when they were ready. All went smoothly. The dental technician asked my son multiple times if he was doing okay. He is 14 and they let me be back in the room with him the entire time, while all the work was being done. I really appreciated that. Once i walked in the door everyone was friendly and helpful, the dentist assistant was very comforting to me considering i have a serious phobia of the dentist. He made me feel calm & that i was in good hands. The doctor was very soft spoken and answered every question i had, helping to ease my mind. I'm glad i went here. My wisdom tooth extraction was extremely quick and did not hurt. My only complaint was the wait was ridiculously long, about 2.5 hours, so make sure you have a "free day" when going for something more minor. read more

I came here on a Sunday of Fourth of July after breaking my teeth after a tragic fall. So thankful they were open. All of the staff were so kind and understanding. The tech, Thomas/John (lol) did a great job replacing my teeth and was so comforting. I came in with scared and embarrassed tears and left with happy tears. When asked how long this would take, he told me he'd have them all out in six minutes. (All four wisdom, one on bottom left, one on top right) I mentioned to the nurse how nervous this was already making me especially with everything he wanted to do. When he started numbing my mouth something just didn't feel right and I made him stop. I'm glad I DID NOT end up getting anything pulled from him. My mouth swelled up so bad the next day from him just NUMBING my mouth and my lip still is. Not as bad. The staff was nice except for Dr Ossama Elbarawy and assistant manager Alicia. When I went in the next day to get the doctors information and to get corporates number Alicia became really rude. She wanted to point out that I was the one who told him to stop after he numbed me, I told her yes but I've never seen someone's lip swell this bad. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I have told and showed what happened to over 100 people and will continue to do so. Because NO ONE should have this happen. I had an issue about 6 months ago they were going to check on and get back with me and they never did. I let it go and was going to follow up when I had my cleaning. I got my text and confirmed I was coming. Well I show up and they say I never confirmed. I showed the text and that I hit C for confirm and sent and even though the lady was looking right at it she says "yeah well you never confirmed" Seriously you were looking right at my phone seeing I did. I say okay lets reschedule and well its 6 months out. Humm it was never 6 months out before..... The only thing different is I had an issue they caused and they did not want to deal with it. It was in their records I had the front desk person look and she could see I was never contacted. After 5 years they will dump you if you ever have an issue. I have good insurance, always paid on time but how dare I speak up about a bad situation. AVOID THEM There are better places, A lot better places. read more

Fortunately for me, I had visited a 24 Hour Dental Care office near my daughter's house in the past and knew exactly where I could go. When I looked up the office I had been to in the past, it turned out that it had moved to Greenwood. Then, I saw that they literally just opened another office in Castleton, so I figured I would give that office a try. When I got there, it looked really nice inside. I recognized the girl at the front desk, and it turned out that she had worked at the downtown office near my daughter's house. It's always good to see when people stick around at a business. Anyways, just like my previous experience, the dentist did a good job of explaining my options and keeping me out of pain. I got the tooth taken out, and the price was reasonable. All in all, these offices seem to provide a very consistently good service, and I'm glad there are now two in Indianapolis. I'm not sure there are any other offices like these around. read more

They allowed my poor pregnant patient to suffer with acute tooth pain and refused to even see her to evaluate her without a clearance letter. Mind you it is the weekend and our office is closed. I called and they would not take a verbal clearance due to "policy" to protect patients. Don't be fooled, that policy is to protect themselves from liability. I'm really impressed by this dentistry. I've never had such an easy and smooth time at the dentist before. I made my appointment a day before and came in on a friday, 10 mins early to fill out paper work, and was in the back room doing my xrays by my appointment time. The assistant I had was extremely straightforward and friendly, the dentist was funny and made sure I was comfortable. They didnt try to upsale me anything and they only did what I wanted. There was no pressure, I just went to the dentist and had my tooth worked on. Then they made sure my filling was perfect to my bite, then double checked. But I received a text reminding me of my appointment and saying you would be seen within an hour of your check in time. I got there and they said there were 4 people in front of me. An hour and forty minutes later, I checked again after 5 names had been called back...I was told there was still one person in front of me. I was told because it operates under emergency room conditions...I was not asked for the level of my pain (which was intense and has been going on a week). So I left because of the false advertising of the text and the unreliability of the staff to tell me 4 people are ahead of me and then suddenly it's 6...what's to stop another person being put ahead of me. Had a filling fall out and needed to get it looked at over the weekend. I googled 24 hour dental places and this came up and went because they had weekend hours. I ended up having to get a root canal (ugh). Luckily my insurance covered a huge chunk of the cost, so wasn't too bad. My experience was pretty good - the reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because of the number of hours I had to wait and hours it took to get my procedures done. Even though I "checked-in" online and made an appointment it did not guarantee me that spot. So not sure why I even did it. I was there three times, and will need to go one more time to get my permanent crown. The second time was for the actual root canal - which took almost 4 hours. I was quote 2 hours. Everyone was great, from the front desk to the dentist. No one likes having their teeth drilled into, so not going to say the experience was pleasant. I was told to come back in two weeks to get my crown fitted and next steps. I made an appointment online for 12:30 on a Saturday. They do text you if they are running behind, and I got one saying they were 47 minutes behind. I got there at 1:10 and sat in the waiting room for about an hour or so. I was there for almost 5 hours....yes, 5 hours. I just couldn't believe how long it took (especially when I was told it would take about an hour and a half). As much as I really want to rant and rave about the hours wasted and the time it took, 24 Hour Dental is not bad. They are open all the time so if you need to go at 3:30 in the morning, you can. They take insurance, and the staff were very pleasant. My tooth feels great and I just need to go back to get my permanent crown. Just make sure your day is completely free if you need to go cause you do a lot of waiting. read more

Awesome customer service. Dental assistants knew how to properly address issues before the knowledgeable dentist came in. I am in the Army and I had a filling and 1 wisdom tooth pulled earlier the same day and began feeling excruciating pain shortly after the procedure was done. Later that day, Same Day Dental addressed the issue and was able to help relieve my pain and explain that when I had the procedure done the other dentist left behind some debris in the wound that was very apparent on the X-ray and also had gotten into the nerve when preparing for the filling. I would highly recommend this dentistry to anyone who needs immediate or by appointment care. Great, prompt staff who know how to treat each patient according to the severity of problems that are presented. 10/10 for everything they helped me with today! read more

I flew in to visit friends and fam in Indy last week, only to have one of my molars set my head on fire within a few hours of landing. (It had been problematic recently, but OMG YOUCH.) I couldn't take it and didn't want to ruin my week, so I decided right then that mf'er needed to go! I looked around online and found Same Day Dental. The website was easy to navigate, let you know how long of wait time they currently had, and allowed me to schedule an appt online for 6pm that night! (Scheduled the appt just 2hrs before!!) I was there for about 2hrs, which IMO isn't bad at all for an emergency extraction within 2hrs of scheduling it. Dr. Erwin wasn't that chatty, as he was rotating through rooms to help everyone, but was VERY nice and professional. He did a great job! I enjoyed everyone that worked there, tbh. Seems like a progressive open-minded staff that enjoys having fun, but also giving great service. Also, I recently was laid off, so I was super stressed about the price, especially later in the evening on a Saturday, last minute... It ended up being very reasonable for everything that was included. (Even x-rays!) Also, the area is healing up great! I highly recommend! read more
