From all reviews, it sounds terrible. That they ruined things instead of just cleaning them. How difficult is that?

Trust the previous reviews of this spot! My dry cleaners shit down recently and I wanted so badly to like this place as well as others in the reviews. I took 5/6 shirts here and 2 of the shirts which were both $200+ shirts and also very new. One of them I got back had a busted button which I will likely not be able to replace as it's very unique and I'm willing to bet they probably saw that they did it and simply didn't care. I've never had a shirt or clothing item get damaged at a cleaners and I will absolutely not go back knowing the risks of this shop. It's sad because I prefer a local shop. They clearly don't listen to their reviews and now looking back it makes sense as it's also one of the only places I've been that has signs just inside stating 'identify damages prior to leaving' etc so I should have picked up on that before handing my items over. I also want to add that they stapled tags onto my very expensive shirts which they never asked if that was a concern to me. I actually wouldn't take my shirts back as I find that as basically damaging my shirts and it's completely negligent. Hard pass!! read more

They tore my beloved rayon dress I brought in. The worst part is that no one told me that it was torn when they gave it to me. It wasn't until I got home and opened up my dry cleaning and inspected it that I noticed it was torn with a chunk of fabric missing from it. I took it back and showed them and no one ever apologized. The lady at the front said that they would need to have the manager weigh in. The girl from the front desk, Beverly, called me while I was at work the following day and left a message saying they would reimburse me to take it to a seamstress OR I could get a "store credit." Again, no apology and no word from the manager. I tried to return their call to say this would be unacceptable to me, but they didn't answer or even have the option to leave a message. I loved express cleaners! They cleaned my wedding dress twice in no time for my wedding. I had makeup on the inside neck and they cleaned it all! Also have done some repairs and spot cleaning on some of my favorite blouses. Can't beat prices too. read more

Took 6 shirts here they punched s hole in all 6 and not a single shirt is wearable without ironing. Avoid at all cost. It's one thing to do a bad job but another to destroy three expensive shirts with huge holes. read more

I've been getting my dry cleaning done here for about 6 months and I'm pretty happy with them. They obviously have same day service, hence the name, but I'm not sure how much more they charge for that. I usually drop my stuff off and it'll be ready the next day. Shirts are $1.39 and jeans are $4, but if you have 3 or more jeans they're $3 each. It's not the nicest shop, but it's cheap. I'd recommend this place to anyone trying to save money on dry cleaning. read more

Express Dry Cleaners was amazing. I was a little nervous seeing some of the previous reviews, but I had the exact opposite experience, it was amazing. The staff was super helpful and the price was great. I purchased a tuxedo and needed it altered and cleaned for my wedding. The alterations were fast, it was pressed great, and the service was amazing. I was unsure how a tux was supposed to be fitted and the lady who was working was so helpful to show me how it's supposed to fit. My shirt was pressed nicely as well. I was a little nervous with everyone taking about the staples but it was no big deal. I'm a weekly customer now. Great value. read more

Great place! Great service!. I got a new job about six months ago and I started using Express. I take shirts in there a 2 or 3 times a month. They do a great job. They damaged a button on one of my shirts. The owner told me "No problem" we have a machine that fixed those automatically. He gave me a little tour and showed me the process for pressing the shirts. And its the best price in town. Give them a try, trust me you wont be disappointing. read more

DO NOT go here for dry cleaning. There is a 50/50 chance that your clothing will be damaged and a 100% chance that the cleaning will be substandard. Ask to see a manager? An explanation of the process will be given, along with the opportunity to spend $10 an hour to do the cleaning properly. You know it's bad when the other employees apologize for the poor service and unacceptable cleaning. Seriously, take some pride in your craft. read more

I brought in several items to be dry cleaned that were exposed to extreme dust from a nearby demolition/construction project. . I'm unsure if it was the owner or an employee who was assisting me. She recommended I not dry clean this particular type of apparel (which was new and unworn), and was very helpful in making suggestions on what alternative methods would be better on getting the merchandise clean. I appreciated her pleasant nature, and taking the time to assist me.....even though the business was not benefiting monetarily from me this visit. read more

I too was lured in with how cheap there prices are. I had taken a silk shirt in years ago and when I picked it up, it was ruined. Some how it became blotchy and all the color was gone. They offered to not charge me for that item and then asked for that shirt. For my $3 00 credit, they'd keep my $60.00 shirt. That pissed my off to say the least. I'm sure I said some choice things and left. Thinking management and ownership had changed, I took some new shirts in for laundering. I explained to the clerk I had had problems in the past and she indicated I wasn't the only one. I went back 2 days later to pick them up and was handed my shirts in a trash bag with a note saying I wasn't welcome there. I'm amazed they stay in business with the horrible customer service they offer. I guess the old adage "you get what you pay for" is very true with Same Day Express. I strongly suggest going elsewhere!!! read more

It pains me to write such a terrible review- but customer beware! I used Same Day Express because it's 3 blocks from my house and incredibly cheap. Now I know why- after 6 months of coming in 2x a week I was still treated like garbage anytime I spoke to one of the workers. For the price and turn around speed I just decided to ignore them and go about my day until one day I picked up a large order (20+ dress shirts) only to go home and find that one of my favorites had a GAPING hole in the sleeve. I mean we are talking 6" by 6" massive tear in the garment, not something that was hard to notice or easy to repair. What bothered me was not the damage, but the fact someone, somewhere knew they damaged my shirt, but rather than offer a discount or even an apology, they hid the shirt in the large order and waited for me to be surprised. Just incredibly rude staff and management on top of constantly staining my clothes and the obvious damage to one of them I just can't go back anymore. What a shame. read more

Horrible customer service, and they staple through the garments to attach their tags. When iI asked if it was common for them to staple through people's expensive shirts and pants, they said all cleaners do (which was an outright lie because I've never once seen this anywhere else). Anyway, I brought an expensive vintage tie to be cleaned, and a new rust colored stain appeared. Sure, it's cheap, but there's other places that are cheaper and have MUCH better service. Thankfully, this was just a trial run at this place because they were so close. Avoid them like the plague. read more

I have had the worst treatment by the owner of this cleaners that I have ever experienced by any business in my whole entire life. They put a spot on my pants that wasn't there when I took them in, tried to get it off and created a bleach stain. I was told to call Rick the owner the next day, which I did. I was talked to in the most horrendous manner, as if I were a low life criminal or something. He said that the stain was already there and they were only going to give me a credit for dry cleaning. I know the stain wasn't there and when I stated it again he told me that he didn't care about my business or the $19.00 I had spent there in my whole life and he then said and I quote "I don''t care about your shitty pants", then after a few more words he hung the phone up on me. These pants were purchased at Nordstrom's this summer have been worn approx. 5 times and this was the first time I had taken them to the cleaners ever. I will never ever go to that place again and advise anyone else who has nice expensive clothes not to take them there. read more

Owner does not value the meaning of customer service. I came in at 9:10AM asked for 2 shirts to be same day. The girl at counter is new so I was patient at first and then she couldn't even find me in the computer, so I became frustrated ..she said I can't take your same day order it's after 9.... I then walked out of the store because I was short on time...I have been coming in here since September of 2013 so after 4 years ... and never had a problem I spend 20-35 $ a week sometimes more..I noticed the owner pull up and explained what happened and he starts yelling at me says it's right here on the sign" you want me to make an exception for just you" oh so clearly customer loyalty means nothing here... Let's leave out the fact I have overlooked 2-3 shirts that have been ruined , buttons melted and holes in the bottom of shirts because they use staples... keep walking guys not worth the money you save if you are treated this poorly by the owner himself.I understand a policy but my frustration lies with the arrogance and attitude of the staff and the owner... when you are in a hurry the last thing you need is to deal with that.. read more
