I always come here to get my brows (and inevitably my upper lip) threaded. It's the price, can't be beat. I think it was $7 for everything? There's always a few people ahead of me whenever I've gone so you do have to wait a bit, but they do a bang up job and are very nice. Terrible! I went there today for my eyebrows. There was a new mid aged lady from whom I got my eyebrows done. I told her to make medium thin. There was an another client waiting so she did mine very fast, and was hurting all the time. After the Job I saw my eyebrows were done a lot thinner than I asked for. I would never go there again. Never ever get a mani-padi from the people who do eyebrows in this salon. They are really really good at doing eyebrows..but they are the worst in giving pedicures and manicures. They are not trained beyond doing eyebrows are get easily distracted if a few customers come in for eyebrows and are waiting. Hands-down! This by far has been the best place I've threaded my eyebrows. I've been coming here for the past six years and this by far has been the best place, I wish I can continue coming here but the commute time from my home to this location is starting to get too far. I'm really not one to give bad reviews. However, in this case I had to. I had a full legs and arms waxing done, and decided to chose here instead of Aishas salon (Which is practically right next door, and $10 more). I made such a big mistake. The bed they wax you in is SO dirty and unhygienic. My legs and arms started itching a few minutes after I left, and then I broke out in a rash all over!!! It's been a week and the rash is still there. I have been waxing for over 6 years and I have never had that sort of reaction. I know it has to do with how unhygienic they kept the bed and waxing area, especially for people with sensitive skin. I definitely do not recommend this place for waxing specifically. Eyebrows I'm sure are done well, but waxing you should definitely chose elsewhere. read more

There's some ladies in this salon that do NOT know how to do eyebrows, wish i knew her name. One lady really screwed them up badly. One eyebrow was significantly thinner than the other. It was ridiculous. I think it's best to go early in the morning when there are absolutely no customers. I think there's some asian looking lady that's probably the owner of the store that does the eyebrows good. Try to avoid this one indian lady. Also be very clear what you want and don't want. Make sure you emphasize it big time. I've came out of this place thinking "wow that looks nice!" and I have also came out of there looking absolutely HIDEOS. And I mean there's been times where some of these ladies have accidentally given me 1.5 inch gaps between each eyebrow. or made them WAY too thin and uneven. It's a gamble. But I guess any eyebrow place is. wish i could do them myself. read more

I have been going to this salon everyone once and awhile for 3 years. That day I wanted to get my eyebrows done and I was going to go to a nail salon down the road, but they insisted that they knew how to do solar. I wanted a simple french solar manicure and I've never had my nails look worse than that day. I left and went straight to the other nail salon where they had to take them off and completely redo them. The ladies are extremely nice, but I can't say that I liked the way they did my nails. read more

Very good and professional eyebrow threading. Touch ups are only $4 which is a huge plus if you're just looking to keep up with it. They take their time and don't rush you through so I'm very happy with the job they do. Will definitely go back! read more

I will NEVER go back to this place to get a pedicure again. I am a guy and I only get pedicures every 2-3 months. Recently moved to the area and wanted to try a spot closer to my new place. She did a horrible job. My feet were so soggy and she didn't do a good job at cutting my toenails and cleaning my cuticle areas at all. It was rushed and I left disgusted that I had to pay a whole $20 for that weak pedicure! read more

I have always left sameeta salon happy for their service. Reminds me of back home, I have threaded my whole life in my country it is very cheap almost 2$ to get eyebrows threaded and here in Sameeta not only is it inexpensive but they are really good and professional at threading. She knows exactly how to clean without ruining your brows or accidently removing a hair and leaving empty space which has happened to me before. This is my honest review must go try. read more

I've been going to Sameeta's for a few months now. I work in Bellaire so I go during my lunch time. They are very fast and very good. I've had a few services done eyebrow threading, under arm waxing and Brazilian wax. On a day I got all thee done I paid $47. You can't beat that! The Brazilian was ok ( it was spotty in places ... I had go go back over it one I got home ). I go back for eyebrows and under arms , but found someone else for that wax read more

This is my first review ever on yelp. I felt it was absolutely necessary to write a review when the service was horrible. I was repairing my phone nearby so though of getting nails at Sameeta's salon yesterday. My mistake was that I looked at the stars that were not horrible but didn't read specific reviews about mani pedi. The staff is highly unprofessional, she turns on water suddenly ended up sprinkling water on my pants. I even tried to tell them the right thing to do based on my experiences at other salons but instead of accepting they told me its done this way at their salon. For eg, my the girl was doing my mani sitting on one side of the chair, my back started hurting and I requested that she goes on the left side for left hand but she didn't move for the most part. Not only her positioning was bad for my posture but this ended up covering my pants with nail dust. My nails looked horrible, cuticle wasn't cut, nails had no shape. I didn't ask for nail polish but she didn't even clean my nails properly. There is no foot massage in their regular mani pedi. So I guess I just paid for uneven nail cutting, and half cut cuticles. For the first time in my life, I felt I wanted another mani pedi immediately to get out of the trauma of this one. read more

If I lived in Houston, I'd be here often. Whenever I go to Houston, this is one of my first stops to get threaded and cleaned up. The price is great and the service is fantastic. The threading always lasts a long time and hair always comes back finer than before. The ladies do get busy even on a weekday; but, well worth it, in my opinion. read more
