I asked for something but my brow person explained how my current shape is perfect and just needs definition instead of thinning. I love how my brows look! I also got my upper lip threaded and that was the smoothest less painful upper lip and brow threading I've ever had! The staff is very friendly and it's very clean. I appreciate they just offer threading and henna so it cuts down on excessive wait times. Unlike other threading salons that offer several services leading you extended wait time. I dropped in because I was nearby and have been wanting to get my eyebrows tinted. They are very light and not full so I was thinking about getting henna. After speaking with one of the ladies there, I decided to have the tinting done, and it turned out better than expected. They weren't too dark as I was afraid they might be. They are known for threading, and had quite a few customers coming in while I was there. Very friendly employees at this business and welcome to me when I came in the door. My eyebrows receive great detail when I'm here and I always get compliments. Also, the technique must be different than other places I've threaded at and my eyebrows require less touch ups. I had an appointment with Samia yesterday at 5, however, she didn't do my brows. Peri did them. I assumed it was because they had a lot of customers and was trying to get everyone out. I didn't mind though. A friend of mine recommended Brow City and said that they both did a great job. I LIKE my brows but she cut my skin with the thread and left welt marks under my eyebrow. Absolutely terrible. Went to the best brow technician according to Yelp reviews. Lady talked the whole time about why she couldn't do my eyebrows the way I requested--as if I haven't been to get threaded before and had no experience with another person capable of doing the job. After it was all said and done she cut me under my right eye and the threading she did wasn't even clean or sharp. She kept going over places to clean it up upon my request and then eventually stopped when she cut me. She explained it would fade away--which thankfully it did after two weeks and charged me full price for the terrible service. read more

when i first found this place it was a gem! i'll give them that they really listen to what you want done. and then explain what they will do base on your brows shape, so there's no surprise. i really do appreciate the consultation, never been to one that actually does it. however for the two times i've been there i felt like they were really heavy hand/rough on the tread. they did it really fast, which is fine, but i felt like there's a sharp blade coming at me. ive been treading my brows for over 10+ years, so its not like im complaining b/c i can't handle the pain... but lets say its more painful then most of my normal threading sessions. yes your brows will look amazing. but i decided that the pain was not worth it. will not return. maybe a better fit if you have higher pain tolerance. read more

Once I've tried threading I never went back! I have a regular place I usually go to but because of convenience, I've opted to visit Brow City again. This was my 2nd time. I waited about 15 minutes. The first time I waited 30 minutes because the owner (don't know her name) was by herself. I didn't get her this time, but the person who helped me was pretty awesome! Her name was Abiggah? (Sorry on spelling!) I had some requests regarding my uneven brows. One actually grows downward. She made miracles! She listened and made sure I was satisfied with her work. I also had upper lip done while I was at it. The service is superb. I can see why there's always a wait. The price is a little higher than my regular place but so worth it!
