I am so proud to say that I am part of LWYSA because of the level of caring and desire to create a place for everyone to play soccer at all levels. Everyone here cares about the safety and enjoyment of the players and coaches. LWYSA also manages the 60 Acres soccer complex from taking care of the building to the care and feeding of the grass fields. From Kindergarten to High School seniors this organization provides a place to play one of the greatest games ever.

Great opportunity for kids to learn soccer. They have different groups almost all days of the week…read more Love it is indoors so you can have practice no matter what with a toddler. Groups are kinda small, and the big fields are divided for those groups. As kids get older, they switch to other fields or days when other fields are open. They play pretty good. I am very proud of their women league :) Yhe thing I dont like is you have to pay for a membership annually. So if you started o march, they will still charge you by the end of the previous session (3 each month). Charging you on November because they "don't want yo bother you" in the middle of the season you are supposed to pay. Not that nice. On weekends evenings they are open for kids' parties with inflatables, soccer coaches, organizers, and rooms for cake or snacks. Staff is helpful. I like the vibe as all parents are on the same boat. Awesome thing is they sell coffee when training sessions in the morning :D

While they seem to dedicate a majority to baseball/softball, they have some soccer and football gear. Risan also provides meeting areas for sports teams and they also provide a uniform service for sports teams. While this place is not the biggest and the inventory is not online the service here is fantastic, The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. If you are looking for a piece of equipment, call Risan or stop in and check it out.

Ive been to Risan several times over the past couple months for our select baseball team to pick up…read moregear and uniforms. Our go to person we've been ordering from is Kristin, but I've been in and received help from Ryan and multiple different folks. All are welcoming and helpful. I wish I would have known about Risan a couple seasons back when we were having trouble finding cleats. They had a TON of options, same goes for bats ( they even had the Fire bat which was one of my son's top asked for bday items). There was a day recently where Kristin was not in, and I was able to still get a response from her via email and her coworker even text her to get a response. The team at Risan cares about their customers and that's rare to find nowadays. Every time I've been in I see someone else there getting great service, and you can tell they've had some relationships with local schools and teams for years and years. I also like that they're able to do small batch orders. We were considering doing a dozen hats for parents and Kristin was more than happy to get quotes for me. Next time we need any baseball gear for the team or just my son, we'll be hitting up Risan. Highly recommend for baseball gear in Kirkland/Redmond/Sammamish.

My kids (ages 7 and 10) genuinely look forward to their sessions and often say that an hour feels like five minutes. That's how much fun they're having! They started as beginner soccer players with minimal training, and in just a short time, the coaches have helped them build strong foundational skills while fostering a deep love for the game. More importantly, their confidence has grown immensely. One of my children is neurodiverse, and I cannot overstate how meaningful the coaches' support has been. They've taken the time to meet him where he is--slowing things down when needed, adapting workouts to match his capacity on any given day, and always showing patience and understanding. It's clear they're not just great coaches--they're great humans. I'm incredibly grateful that my kids have the opportunity to train at TOCA. It's been a game-changer for their soccer skills.

I'm a germophobe when it comes to managing my toddler and the areas appeared sanitary without funky smells and other unknowns. I can imagine how hectic it would be trying to coordinate ongoing parties throughout the day and tons of families; but the staff could do better with communicating check in, transitions between the large play rooms, and their overall lackluster demeanor in dealing with children.

While I understand businesses may have rules regarding outside food, I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The staff member who spoke with me came across as rude and disrespectful. The explanation felt abrupt, and the interaction lacked the courtesy and customer service I would expect. My concern is not the policy itself, but the manner in which it was communicated. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure guests are treated respectfully, even when enforcing policies.

My daughter started at Orion when she was 3 years old. Also impressive was the effort she puts in for all the kids there. I could see the advancement in my daughter pretty quickly, she started putting together words and soon was reading smaller books. The curriculum is not limited to reading and writing but covers diverse topics on science, math, geography, Spanish and so on and is taught in a way that's easily grasped by these young tots. Even during the pandemic, Shantha took every effort to keep the teaching moving along via online classes with a similar curriculum. I highly recommend this school.
