Last week when we were in Charleston, we were lucky enough to happen upon Kultura. It's a Filipino…read morerestaurant. Before before getting to the food, the space was inviting and had a lot of cool touches. And the service was great! My wife, youngest, and I shared a number of plates. Some of the first include included the Kinilaw, the Lumpia, and the Laing. The Kinilaw is a yellow tuna dish. The tuna melted in your mouth and the flavors from the coconut-leche dressing, ginger, and jalapeño, as well as the fresh mint, added to the flavor palette. I didn't try the Lumpia because it is skinny spring rolls made with ground pork. My wife and youngest said they were great in really enjoyed the taste. The Laing was a vegetable dish involving creamy brace kale with garlic, ginger, and coconut milk. Of course it sounds different and it was, but in a really good way. Again, the way the flavors worked together was really great. The last dish we got was the Curry. It is grilled red snapper with braised, mung beans, tempura sweet potatoes over coconut red curry sauce and rice. It was so good. Again, the flavors in this dish were amazing. The fish was cooked just right. And the way the dish worked together was a piece of culinary art. They also had cool cocktails, good beers, and even mocktails for our teenager. Our experience at Kultura was better than we even expected from looking at the menu online. If you find yourself in Charleston, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

We came here on Sunday for early dinner thru Resy reservation app…read more The place of this restaurant was the at the now closed Little Sage restaurant. The decor very inviting and it has moderate noise level. We ordered arroz valid which was my favorite dish so far, pancit sisig with a different type of noodle than the regular skinny pancit rice noodle that I know which kinda throw me off, curry snapper that was good, lumpia, Laing, and the holy city salawat plus the new drink tennis were so delish! I would definitely coming back to Kultura for
