In the back, you'll find a spacious, clean restaurant with plenty of room to relax. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food is outstanding, whether you're there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My personal favorite breakfast item is the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich--I loved it so much that I had two of them while I was there! For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with the hamburger. It's a half-pound of hand-pattied, in-house beef, and it ranks among the best burgers I've ever had. I also tried the fried flounder, which was delightfully light, flaky, and crispy. With a boat ramp out front, a campground, and a motel on site, Black's Camp has everything you need for the perfect lakeside getaway. Fishing, lodging, dining--what more could you ask for?

To be honest, the manager seemed like she might have had a little too much Easter spirit, if you catch my drift. The whole interaction was downright combative and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me, though, was the poor hostesses and waitstaff. They apologized to us over and over and quietly let us know this kind of situation is something they deal with on a daily basis. We even heard her speaking sharply to another customer, which made it clear this wasn't just a one time issue. No real reason, but it's a genius marketing move to display the cuts of meat to the table before ordering. That's what screwed me up.
