I love this place. My favorite thing is Halo Halo but this time I tried Jackfruit Ice Cream and it was so tasty and not too sweet. The decoration here is also very cute. They can have a long line so be prepared. The service is nice.
This lace serves One of my favorite desserts is Halo-Halo and this is the first place locally I have found that serves it. Halo-Halo is a Philippines shaved ice dessert usually made with coconut milk, Ube halaya (purple yam jam), Nata de coco (coconut gel), and sweetened fruits and beans. I really like Jackfruit mixed in. Halo-Halo translates to Mix-Mix in Tagalog. The service is from the ice-cream counter with a tropical theme.
I love coming here for a sweet treat! I had dined next door at Mamak and walked right over to enjoy some ice cream dessert! Sampaguita is known to be very busy (which is amazing) but I was lucky to only wait maybe 5 minutes to order. While waiting I loved looking at the merch up front. The shirt design is beautiful. I was surprised to also see cookie options too! The interior is lovely. The design is so airy and pretty. My ice cream was great! I ordered a flavor that had pineapple in it and got the pineapple caramel sauce on top! It is so flavorful and creamy. Great all around dessert. My boyfriend ordered a strawberry shake and loved it. He finished it within a few minutes. We grabbed a table about halfway down the hallway. We sat forawhile and was able to chat and enjoy our desserts. We had a great afternoon visiting here.
Decided we needed a little dessert after lunch... After all the ice cream I've tried in Orlando, this has to be my new favorite!!! I tried the soy sauce butterscotch and it was incredible!!!!! I also tried a cheesecake guava flavor, also amazing! Ended up getting both in a waffle cone. The staff here are just SO friendly and awesome! The decor inside is also really nice and gives me such relaxed vibes. 100% I'll be back!!!
Okay so let's start off with the good - very cool place, great addition to Orlando. Love the decor, worker was nice and let us sample, ice cream was delicious! Now the reason for the -1 star. First, its mills and the parking on a Tuesday was rough. This is a general issue, not specific to them but we had to drive around the lot for 10 minutes, then we decided to leave and look elsewhere ended up having to walk a decent amount. It was frustrating and inconvenient if you're meeting with others. Second, I'm kind of confused as to why if someone is ordering a normal scoop or soft serve we have to get a number and wait, I've never seen an ice cream place do that. I totally understand for speciality items but was a little surprised for ours - the place was packed so a lot of people were standing around waiting with their numbers. Overall it hit the spot and in my opinion was worth the hype; just make sure you're not in a rush!
I keep hearing about this place so I went to ck it out. I ordered halo-halo with ube ice cream. I was a little disappointed once I tasted it. The ice cream didn't taste ube as I was hoping for and the ingredients (sahog) are not the traditional ingredients I was used to. Overall, the halo-halo wasn't too bad. Their selections ice cream, on the other hand, were pretty good.
YUM. I wanted something sweet to end the day and stopped by. We got lucky and got parking right up front. Each person gets to try 4 flavors and lemme tell ya - I had a hard time deciding. They were SO good. I settled on the Buko Pandan with coconut flakes and totally recommend. Delicious. I will be coming back.
Even on a Wednesday Sampaguita Was packed. While it's off of Colonial, there is a parking lot in the back of the plaza. Despite there being a parking lot, we weren't able to find parking and we had to park on the street. For the middle of the week, I was surprised that there was a line out the door. It took about 15 minutes before we were serviced, but the staff behind the counter was working hard. Sampaguita has unique flavors, such as Ube. They were very accommodating and they let us try a bunch of different flavors. I was surprised because every flavor that I tried wasn't too sweet like ice cream typically is. My friend and I ordered the Ube brownie with Ube whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. It was good but also not too sweet. Personally I think the ice cream actually wasn't sweet enough. With the hype that Sampaguita gets, I was expecting to be blown out of the water, but it was a little underwhelming. I think there's better ice cream in Orlando. The dining room is really cute and there's actually a lot of tables. It's very comfortable to sit there and hang out with friends.
I've been wanting to try Sampaguita for the longest time! And finally getting around to it - it didn't disappoint. You can probably guarantee this place will always be busy (and for good reason). Even with a line to the door, the service was very quick. There is a lot of seating even towards the back of the shop and loved the ambiance. They're very on brand throughout the entire place. I ordered the birthday mamon in a cone and I loved it! They also had a ton of other unique flavors and sundae options. I definitely will be returning!
Love this gourmet ice cream place near downtown Orlando. Serving Filipino inspired flavored ice cream. They let you taste it with small sample. Then you order at the end of the counter on what you want. If undecided- advised to do the 5 flight sampler. Our favorite is the ube cookie and cream. You can also get halo halo - a Filipino treat. They also serve pastries and cookies. If you are a local, sign up for their reward program. They also do ice cream cakes.
Craving exotic ice cream this day. Opted for the mini cone flight. These are 5 mini cones with 1 scoop of any flavors (5) you choose. $11 I chose the Sampaguita, Ube cookie and cream, Buko pandan, Mango peach pie, Champorado. My favorite is still the Sampaguita. It has a very unique taste. Staff here are nice and helpful. The merch here are cute but quite pricey especially clothing. I love the cartoon pinay mascot.
Service was very kind and accommodating to let us taste all the flavors and give us some ice for a long trip. All the flavors were great with a delightful texture.
The Ube Soft Cream Swirl is my latest obsession right now. I didn't discover it until recently and now that's all I want. Just writing this is making me want to go there and get it. IT IS SO GOOD! Though the line can get long, I have to say the staff does a great job of moving through it quickly, especially when you consider customers wanting to taste the different flavors and all that. I love the decor and aesthetic of this place. Seating is incredibly limited.
Bright colorful ice cream place. The staff was courteous and answered questions and graciously offered samples of ice cream . We had chocolate and Uber latte ice cream flavors. The ice cream was delicious and we plan to return to try more flavors. I did take a brownie home for the hubby. read more
Food: I haven't had all the flavors but the ube was good. The waffle cone is made in the shop and it tastes fresh. Service: they are super nice. I will say it's a bit pricy. 3 scoops for $10. I heard about this place from TikTok and since I was in Orlando on vacation, we decided to stop by. Located on a busy street. Parking located in the back but can get busy. We went at night closer to 6-7pm. The line was out the door but the wait wasn't too long. A lot of choices of Filipino traditional ice cream. We ordered the ube brownie sundae and halo halo. OMG!! Service was great and speedy despite how crowded it was and we even found a spot to sit which is impressive. They let the kids try a few flavors and had some allergen options too. They have pink sprinkle waffle cone that has chocolate inside that made my kids night. All in all it was a good experience. I had the ube latte and it did not disappoint read more

I went on a busy Saturday, almost every table full but I was lucky to get a front table just in time. At this vistit I had three scoops in a bowl. The Sampaguita is made with Almond vanilla bean ice cream and perfumed with a hint of jasmine + lychee jellies. So flavorful and light, a unique blend of floral notes and fruit. It was so good I took a pint home! Keso Guava Cheesecake is a Mild cheddar cheesecake ice cream with scratch-made guava preserve swirl and cinnamon graham crunch. It was so rich and satisfying with the tropical guava flavors that add depth and sweetness. The last scoop is Soysauce butterscotch. Which is a brown sugar and vanilla ice cream with umami notes of soy sauce and a hint of Maldon salt. At first look this did not sound appealing! But Sampaguita lets you try four flavors, so I obliged. And what a delightful surprise! The combination of sweet and salty really brings out the flavor! If you are looking for delicious options that you won't find in the mainstream, go get yourself some ice cream! Pints are also available and I got Pineapple Cake, Milo Rocky Road, more Sampaguita. Loveeee this place! They always have a line out the door but for good reason! My favorite to get is the ube soft serve, but they have some amazing ube brownies and also unique ice cream flavors. They also have vegan flavors available. I always make it a must to stop here every time I am in the mills area. read more

I'd definitely will be diagnosed with that diabeetus if I lived in Orlando. I'm always on the hunt for pandan (plant that is used in mostly SE Asian dish that taste like light vanilla/coconut) flavored anything that we rarely see in the United States. When I saw this was one of the flavors, I definitely had to get. It was enjoyable! Only ordered a single scoop on a full stomach and that's about $5, which is pricey but it is what it is. They have a lot of flavors of the SE, which is great! Simple and easy service. Definitely recommend and come back again on the next Orlando visit! read more
It's such a cute ice cream spot! The flavors were nostalgic for me! I enjoyed their Milo Rocky Road. I'm sad I live so far from it but at least it's not across the country LOL The customer service was warm and inviting. I look forward to coming back and trying their halo halo. Side note: my kids loved their stickers! My only critique is I wish the seating area had bigger/longer tables large families because you know us Filipinos don't usually come in small groups LoL maybe manifesting an expansion? ;) I look forward to coming back! read more

This little beautiful nugget was EXACTLY what I wanted after dinner. The flavors were eccentric and colorful. They have so many different options of flavors or cones, even FLIGHTS of ice cream. You KNOW it's a good ice cream spot when there's a line outside. It is well worth the wait. The ube cookies and cream is definitely my favorite and I can't wait to come back and try a new flavor. read more
I beg of you to please open a location in Arizona because this was absolutely incredible! A pinoy-inspired menu is always the best and if it's DESSERTS, I'm on board! The interior of this place was absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful Sampaguita sign on the outside and inside! They have various flavors for the ice cream, cakes, and cookies. I ordered a double scoop of the birthday mamon cake (a traditional pinoy sponge cake) and the sampaguita (a nice almond base). That was the perfect combo! My niece let me try their halo-halo, which was a 10/10! The service was absolutely great, too, as they offered us waters while we were munching down. I did have their adobo chocolate chip cookie and we were all trying to pin-point the adobo flavor. I just need to come back again and try it (lol) I highly recommend! read more
This establishment has really earned it's good ratings. When I first walked in I thought this was a small ice cream shop but then as I got in to the shop I realized there is a long hall way that leads to another out side door. The service is good,we were able to sample multiple flavors before deciding and the staff was very friendly. I chose the Queso Guava flavor on a cone and it was one of my favorites along with the Sampaquita flavor but even other flavors I tried were delicious such as Pineapple cake. The price is just as good as the ice cream not over priced and you get good portions. This just became one of my favorite ice cream shops in Orlando. This is a must try if you are near by and want a sweet treat. read more

Maybe only my 3rd visit here to Sampaguita, but it never misses. It's only 50 degrees outside this MLK Day and there were still people waiting to get in and eat ice cream. This is a busy section of SR50, so parking can be sketchy but THIS is where to get your Filipino ice cream fix. I have got to come back for their Halo Halo, but I've enjoyed their Banoffee Pie, Champorado, and Jackfruit Chili Nut. This is how you do FLAVOR in a lovely setting with gluten-free and vegan options (incl. vegan soft-serve) available. read more

The desserts and ambience are top tier! There's always a line when I come so make sure to be cautious of that and grab a table when you can because they fill up fast! They always have a ton of really interesting flavors that you'll always have something new to try. read more
SOY SAUCE BUTTERSCOTCH... O MY GAWSH!!! We came just to give some business to Filipino vendors in Orlando while we were here. Wasn't expecting anything much, maybe just some Magnolia type quality ice cream (Filipino Brand Ice Cream) to cool us down from the Orlando heat. Yelp directions are spot on. There is street parking in front, and strip mall parking in back, all free. Walking in, you are engulfed in a delightful smell of freshly made waffle cones in the air as you enter the premises... gives off a welcome home, warm hug kinda vibe ;) The staff is super friendly and take advantage of their offer to sample 4 flavors because the HOMEMADE stuff here is so deliciously worth it!!! Alrighty... let's eat! BANANA CUE: Flavor choices - SOY SAUCE BUTTERSCOTCH... BOMB DIGGITY!!! BUKO PANDAN... SPOT ON!! UBE COOKIES & CREAM... True Flavor, so not a similar overwhelming flavor burst as the others, but still tasty. Banana is sliced length wise like a traditional Split and fresh, not cooked and caramelized as a traditional Cue would be. But that's COMPLETELY okay with me as this version accentuates the ice cream flavors better. I got mine hyped up with Ube Whipped Cream and nuts. Then fudge on the side so my ice cream wouldn't melt so fast, and it does start to melt rather quickly. For this version of the classic Banana Split, although not gonna wow you on size, their ice cream is the star and the flavor blows you away! I savored every bite! UBE BROWNIE: SOY SAUCE BUTTERSCOTCH here too! My munchkin gave me the stank face when I told him the flavor I wanted to try. I practically forced him to eat the offered sample, but then TRUE amazement hit his face when the taste buds bathed in this flavor. OMG...WOWZA! He proceeds to go 180 and gets the Ube Brownie (warmed) WITH Soy Sauce Butterscotch! Loved every spoonful! Next time will get a double scoop with the brownie ;) TRIPLE SCOOP: SAMPAGUITA... DELIGHTFUL!!! (Son actually got that for me lol) BIRTHDAY CAKE MAMON... Son loves sprinkles so this was his jam. UBE COOKIES N CREAM... Cookies & Cream is his Go To flavor and he loved the Filipino twist to it! DOUBLE SCOOP: SOY SAUCE BUTTERSCOTCH with CHAMPORADO. Son really enjoyed these flavors. The champorado here is reminiscent of my childhood days when we had warm champorado for breakfast. The rice bits and creamy milk chocolate flavor hits the heritage spot in me perfectly. UBE LATTE with KESO GUAVA CHZCAKE was Wifey's choice and she was quite pleased with her selections. Ube & coffee worked tastefully well together. She loved the guava presence but had hoped there would be more queso bits in her scoop. VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION!! Nom Nom Level... Sky High! I enjoyed the experience so much I took pints of SAMPAGUITA and SOY SAUCE BUTTERSCOTCH back to our hotel for an evening snack (or morning pick me up) the rest of our stay in Orlando! There was a line around the block for this ice cream when we went last night and it was worth it! I got the Birthday cake ice cream brownie sundae and the ice cream was sooo creamy and flavorful. The brownie was rich, warm and decadent. I never wanted it to end. I want my house to look like the decorated it, very 1980s Miami aesthetic, pink and green accents, palm fronds, gold accoutrements and chair caning, my Golden Girls dreams come true! The iconic Asian ice cream spot on E Colonial! I love all the flavors and the workers behind the counter are always so nice. It is a long and narrow shop that is always busy because Sampaguita is so delicious so be prepared to search around for a table or to stand. Limited parking is available behind the plaza, entering through to the back door of Sampaguita. Parallel parking also available on the streets. read more

Came on a Friday night an hour before closing, the place was packed! They have seating in a small area in the front of the shop by the register and all down a small hall that leads to the back towards the bathrooms and a back door that leads to a parking area. I tried the Ube cookies and cream one scoop on a waffle cone. It was sooo good. Kevin got a small cup of rocky road, he enjoyed it. The total cost for both was $12. You order your ice cream, they give you a number, and you wait for it at a table. A girl was walking around offering small cups of water, that was a nice touch. The place is decorated very nicely, even the bathroom. They have different flavors like soy sauce and traditional flavors too. I can't wait to come back and have more! read more

I went here with my cousin over the weekend and it's such a cute place. I loved the vibe and the decor. It was very busy but they moved through the line of patrons efficiently. Obsessed doesn't even begin to describe my feelings about this place. Every single time I have some friends come into town or I want to go on an ice cream date with my spouse, I always always choose Sampaguita. I'm not going to lie, I am not a patient person, and I hate waiting in long lines, but this place is totally worth the wait. I highly recommend the pineapple upside down ice cream and also the classic Sampaguita ice cream! Add some Ube sauce on top, and you will thank me later! read more
The cutest shop ever! Super friendly service and the flavors were very fun. Tons of seating. Got the soy sauce butterscotch and it was rich and creamy. The halo halo is pretty solid and they use soft serve instead of ice cream. Could go with more toppings but it was only $10. read more

Been wanting to come here since they opened and o finally made time. Sampaguita is a Filipino inspired ice cream shop with so many unique flavors to try. The guy behind the counter walked me through a few of them and let me try samples. I went with their namesake "sampaguita" flavor, which has a nice almond and rice milk flavor. Very mild and creamy. I can't wait to come back and try some other flavors! They also have a decent amount of seating and weren't too busy during the middle of the day, so I think you could work from here on your laptop quite easily. read more

I know sampaguita is known for their soft serve and ice cream but they also have baked goods as well. My favorite cookie is the adobo chocolate chip. I know it sounds weird but imagine a chocolate chip cookie with salt on top but instead it's adobo seasoning that's Filipino. It's super delicious! The cookie is moist and a perfect balance of sweet and salty which I appreciate. I give that cookie a 8/10. I tried their new ube dubai cookie and I was a bit disappointed. It didn't really taste like much and the filling was hard and not crispy the way I expected. The ube flavor was not in the room but it was a pretty purple color. I would not get that cookie again. I give it a 4/10. All in all, this place is always packed and the staff is super friendly! It's a cute little treat after dinner and I love that they open late. I recommend you try this place at least once. read more
About 3.5 stars for our experience. I like the friendly atmosphere of the service staff. The place is not big but it has good selection of the ice cream. I have my wife to choose an item we can share. She pick ube banana cream float from the special menu. The cup has ube ice cream and cream. The taste is there but the there is 30% ice cube in it. For price we paid, we might as well take the three scoop ice cream about the same price instead of item with ice cube in it. read more
I bring everyone here whenever we're nearby. Love the service to the decor and to the flavors. You simply can't go wrong with their choices. My go to flavor is the Ube Latte. Luckly and unfortunately this place isn't super close to me as I think I would be made out of Ube Latte. I don't think having a big group is great to sit in. However it is definitely a good last stop for a date night. Highly recommend!! I'm half Malaysian and half Filipino so the fact that this is also conveniently right next door to Mamak makes make heart so full. read more

every time i have been here the line is out the door! sampaguita offers seasonal, creative flavors and specials, as well as great service and a charming location. parking is another story, for there is very little of that. while often very busy, the staff is always kind and accommodating. every flavor and dish is thoughtful and creative, and there are always a fair amount of vegan flavors/options for those who do not eat dairy. i've personally really liked everything i've had there, although i would always recommend trying one of the specials on rotation! if you're in the area and you can find parking, this ice cream shop is a must-try. read more
