My coffee came first and was presented in a beautiful blue cup and saucer. The Dirty Chai Latte is made of chai latte and espresso. It was delicious. My only complaint is that I wanted more. The serving size was definitely not enough and actually is inadequate especially for the price. Next came the food. We each had the Prime Steak and Eggs and shared the Power Protein Pancakes. The food was ok. We couldn't eat all and took the rest to go. The staff was ok. The restaurant was clean. They have an affirmation wall that I loved. My Mom did purchase a Bourbon Bread Pudding on the way out. I did have a sample of it later on in the day and it was delicious.

I paired my meal with the seasonal selection of matcha, the blueberry Matcha. Service was pretty quick and the food and drink were amazing. Croque Madame was cheesy and delicious with a yummy runny egg. The matcha was sweet and had the blueberry flavor from the whipped cream. The tomato soup was savory, creamy, and with tomato flavor and came with two slices of baguettes, which were great to dip up the soup. If I'm ever back in Orlando I would 100% make a stop by here again.

Matcha has officially exploded in the United States, and Saikō has clearly tapped into that culture. They have a really fun menu with creative combinations that go way beyond a basic matcha latte, but what really caught my attention was the Hojicha. I'm calling it now: Matcha was the beginning. Hojicha is coming next. Hojicha is roasted Japanese green tea, and it has a completely different flavor profile from matcha. It's smooth, earthy, nutty and almost toasted, without that grassy quality some people associate with matcha. The one I had at Saikō was absolutely delicious. I also love that they're not treating Japanese tea like a trend that needs to be watered down for everyone. There's some real creativity happening with the flavors and combinations, and the menu is interesting enough that I'd want to come back and work my way through it. The location is definitely unconventional, but there's something kind of cool about watching people play pickleball while you're sitting there drinking Japanese tea. Saikō is one of those places where you can say you discovered it before everyone else did. IYKYK.

The Greenery Creamery also just opened their new location right next door, so I'm sure they'll start to see some increased traffic.

Was a little hesitant since I walked in and there was no one in the shop. One of the workers walked out when they heard the door open and greeted me, but they have a touchpad kiosk to order from so I ordered there. Another worker came out and they worked on making my drink. I waited a few minutes before it was ready, exploring the small trinkets for sale and claw machine in the back. I ordered a fresh brewed oolong milk tea with almond milk, boba, and pudding at 75% sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised that the tea was strongly brewed and really tasted freshly made! The boba was a good texture. I've had better pudding elsewhere, but I was craving it so it definitely helped satisfy those cravings. I'm glad I found this little tea shop, I'll definitely be back to try Oodle Ramen a couple doors down as well!
