Great little ice cream and poke shop right by the neighborhood Walmart. It is under Chinese ownership but the owners appear friendly and accommodating. The ice cream is formed from a liquid mix poured on a cold plate. Surprisingly it was quite smooth and not too icy, meaning there's very little water content in the mix -- a pleasant surprise. The boba tea was very watered down. I'm not sure if everyone is properly trained to make the tea. It has been inconsistent each time we have visited (three times). The last time I had it, the green milk tea was purely milk flavored without any matcha taste. The owner, Jimmy, contacted me directly and asked me to come back to try something else. I am glad I did, the level of commitment to customer satisfaction is very refreshing -- thanks again. It is right down the street to us, so we will definitely revisit when we are seeking some ice cream. read more

We are visiting from Long Island New York and were wanting to try rolled ice cream! Used Maps to find the closest place and this was it - about 20 min from where we were staying. Staff was absolutely wonderful, so great with my young kids. The place was clean and inviting and they had so much more than rolled ice cream on the menu. Loved that they said goodbye with "we appreciate you!" To every customer. Just a nice touch. Excellent rolled Ice Cream!!! read more

My daughter want the boba tea I Google close to my house saw the good review then go there When we go there walk in store smell very strong fish but I pay cash the younger girls was the cashier after she take the money I was watching her to make the drink without washing her hand and no gloves and she have a long fake nails on it . Make me worry about it .the drink was supper sweet and not flavor the boba was uncooked. I don't think I will want come back again . read more

This is an interesting and unique little shop! They have altered their business so that customers are not completely entering the area the food is kept in. They have a temporary wall and plastic set up so you can see in, but not enter. Their order window is open, the service was prompt and friendly, and they have a couple tables set up if you're interested. We ordered 2 Cocoa's Dreams - definitely recommended if you like Ferraro Rocher! They have a nice selection of toppings (some they are more generous with than others), and you can choose 3 with your rolled ice cream order. They also offer poké bowls, sushi rolls, and boba tea. We had a nice experience considering the alterations in their biz, it would've been fun to see them prepare the ice cream a bit better, but I appreciate their safety efforts so that will have to wait! I'm going with 4 stars instead of 5 because I think they're prices are a bit high, and I would appreciate a smaller size option for rolled ice cream since they only offer one size. First time at Snow City with "The FAM" we ordered Vanilla Rolled Ice cream, Cheesecake Rolled Ice cream and a mango boba shake. Watching them make it was very cool, the ice cream was creamy and delish! Especially the cheesecake ice cream. He actually put an entire slice of cheesecake into the ice cream. Sooooo good! This review is going to be impartial to the delectable awe-inspiring ice cream at Snow City Ice Cream, that just opened up 5 months ago. I know they have poke and even a menu, but I was only in for a visit for that ice and cream. On my last trip to NY, I finally tried this type of rolled ice cream, or is it ice pan ice cream? Maybe both. And this one is a better version of the one I tried then. I say "finally," because I've watched it for years on Food Network and Cooking Channel. Without disappointment; I'm addicted. The process is completely different from traditional ice cream, the ice cream is poured and broken over an anti-griddle, spread into a perfect square, flavored with your choice of "drizzle," I opted for condensed milk and then rolled, cupped and garnished. Toppings ranged from kiwi and lychee bursting boba (some say caviar, but that's a little different), sprinkles, pocky, fruit and whipped cream. The taro was the favorite, but that's always hard to pass on. Something about taro that tastes like the milk left over a fruit flavored cereal, like Captain Crunch made into ice cream. The matcha was also delightful and subtle which in contrast allows for it to be enjoyed arguably even more by volume. Definitely worth the after dinner treat. read more

Pretty cool ice cream place. The only reason I'm giving it a four is because their flavor options are kind of limited and their toppings are very limited. They also are kind of all over the place with food and stuff and just need a bit of organizing lol. We had the matcha ice cream and it was awesome! I love Snow City's rolled ice cream. It is so fresh and creamy! The employees are also so nice about my kids' nut allergies. They have two freezer plates that they can make ice cream on, so they always open the second unused one to ensure no cross contamination. I really appreciate this so much! I usually get the peanut butter ice cream with sweetened condensed milk drizzle, whipped cream,he and chocolate sprinkles. Delicious! The portions are huge but it's so good I have no problem finishing it myself. :) read more

We came in to try something different and found a gem. Their rolled ice cream is fresh and delicious. Brought my out of town guest here a few times and they love it here as well! Saw they also serve poke bowl and it's so worth your money compare to other close by venues. Finally tired their boba tea and though selection is limited their foam ice coffee was very good. It does get a little busy sometimes and they only have 1 worker so you may wait longer than other places but care goes into every customer even if the worker is in a rush. Everyone always gets their samples and the right order. I always make a stop here whenever I'm downtown.

This has been my favorite food place ever since I moved here. Every birthday I have we always order snow city! The service is wonderful and they are understandable, nice, and patient. The only problem I have is inflation., but still doesn't take away from the fact its a great place. If someone ever asks to go somewhere for boba, ice cream, or sushi, I will always recommend snow city any day! read more

The best place to go and have amazing rolled ice cream. The price is very cheap and the portion is a lot. I had the same ice cream in many places around Orlando but this place was the best. The interior is not top of the line but if u go for the ice cream then it won't be disappointed. As I said it's priced almost half of other place and is delicious. read more

I popped in one night after dinner to check it out. The inside is very cute, with lots of bright colors, especially pink, including pink chandeliers! If you want to do a scoop or two of ice cream, they have premixed flavors which are also the flavors that go on the waffle and crepe offerings. For the rolled ice cream, there are preselected recipes or you can choose your own. You choose the base flavor and then what is going to be mixed into it, then the sauce and then the topping. The prices were higher than I was expecting with a few of the preselected recipes at $10.95 (including the waffle and crepe offerings) but the majority, including the choose your own, is $12.95. I decided on my own recipe and picked a vanilla cream base with Nutella mix-in, the RPC sauce (which the employee said was like a vanilla sauce) and sprinkles on top. The employee then started working on creating the rolled ice cream on the frozen metal table. As she started to add ingredients, I realized it wasn't mine but the family in front of me that just ordered. Since these are all manually mixed, flattened out, and rolled individually, it does take some time. I assume, since this place just opened, that the servers will get faster, but just realize if you are a larger group that you will have to wait for all your orders to be completed. It is really fun to watch the rolls being made and it does end up being a large portion. Mine was super yummy and was a nice treat on a weeknight.
