    Boba Milk Tea
    Evan R.

Gone here a few times, the honeydew boba is my favorite item, but everything here is honestly really great.

Sakura Rosa milk tea with yam jam and boba

This is my favorite local boba shop. The staff is always so sweet and welcoming and their boba drinks are amazing! The sushi is also super great I definitely recommend this place!!

Sushi was great! Very big portions and really filling. They didn't skimp on the fish for sure! The lady who did my take out order was a sweetheart as well. Hubby loved it and he is particular about his sushi. Definitely eating there again.

Excellent service! Very kind and attentive staff. Never had boba before and really enjoyed it. They made my daughter feel special on her birthday. Will definitely be back!

    Sweet Summar Roll

Torn on this one. The boba tea was very watery even before any ice melted. It was not too flavorful. It was also light on sugar, though I'm sure you could ask for them to adjust. Had the opportunity to try the Taro and original milk tea flavors. Both had these same qualities. Regardless, the boba tea pearls were actually very soft and good. I asked, and the three most popular boba flavors are: the Thai tea, the Taro and the Earl Gray. This might be something to keep in mind when ordering. The reason why I'm so torn on this review is the sushi. I ordered the sweet summer roll and really enjoyed it. It was fresh upon ordering, and I really enjoyed the order. I would recommend getting this! This might not be the place for boba, though I would argue that the sushi is worth trying. I've also noticed a lot of reviews for the ice cream rolls and poke bowls. Maybe those are the stronger parts of the menu. Will update this review if I try again!

The bowls are very good! I was a little underwhelmed by the princess sushi roll one. I thought it would cold but, it was warm. I thought it would be more meaty. The ice cream looks amazing and they are following CDC rules.

The rolled ice-cream is awesome! They have pre-made menu options that have great variety for everyone. My favorite part is the additional 3 toppings that you can add for free! The popping Boba are incredible - don't miss out on that special treat!

Strawberry with M&Ms, Marshmallows, and Strawberry Poppers.

We are visiting from Long Island New York and were wanting to try rolled ice cream! Used Maps to find the closest place and this was it - about 20 min from where we were staying. Staff was absolutely wonderful, so great with my young kids. The place was clean and inviting and they had so much more than rolled ice cream on the menu. Loved that they said goodbye with "we appreciate you!" To every customer. Just a nice touch. Excellent rolled Ice Cream!!!

Solid 4 out of 5 for freshness, value, and convenience. I stopped in on a Sunday lunch with a friend, expecting a quick, casual bite, and that is exactly what it delivered. The staff was friendly from start to finish and genuinely great at recommending combinations. Service was fast the entire way through, from ordering to pickup, without feeling rushed. One detail I appreciated is that there are two entrances, and the back door is super convenient since it leads straight out to the parking lot. The vibe inside is clean and straightforward, nothing overly flashy, and I really like the nod to Hawaii in the decor. It gives the space a relaxed island inspired feel without trying too hard, just a well kept fast casual setup that makes it easy to focus on the food. What I ordered: I went with a custom bowl. The tuna and salmon were both fresh with zero fishiness, which is always the first thing I look for. I tried the soyu and Hawaiian aioli sauces and both were a bit on the subtle side and leaned slightly bland, but not enough to take away from the overall bowl since everything else was solid. The unlimited toppings were a nice bonus and pretty consistent with what you would expect from similar poke spots. My friend ordered the garlic fried shrimp rice plate. The shrimp came out crispy and savory, and the mac salad on the side had a nice balance of creamy mayo with a bit of carrot to lighten it up. Total came out to about $36 with tip, which felt fair for a casual lunch for two. Overall, this is a great go to if you want something fast, fresh, and relatively healthy in Mills50. I would definitely come back, especially when I want a no stress lunch that still hits!

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

For the first time we visited them at their Gatlin Hall Brewing location and it was delightful! They had a special fish tip with toasted pita that was on point. And my poke bowl was loaded with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Another win is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so we could enjoy our bowls fresh... no need to tote them home. The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience. Don't really love eating with single use plastic and a pub table. So go for the food and don't worry about the ambiance!

They seem to be a permanent fixture to the little food hall. We ordered the Huli Huli chicken bowl with brown rice and the Tempura shrimp bao. The food took about 20 minutes to cook, which sticks, but the biggest issue I had was the bowl was ready about 7 minutes before the bao and sat in the window for that time. Why not tell us so we could enjoy it hot? It sat and was cold by the time I got it. The rice was mushy and taste like boil in a bag junk. It also said it came with pineapple, which I could only find three half nibs in the whole bowl. The bao were pretty good, but so drenched in sauce that we could barely taste the shrimp and accompaniments. The meal was so disappointing I only ate a few bites and couldn't continue. We saw that they had a BOGO deal on UberEats and both opted to try the Poke Burger with tuna and the krab rangoon. I absolutely devoured the krab rangoons, which luckily kept their signature crispy exterior even though they were delivered and not eaten right at A La Cart. The sauce was tangy and a perfect complement to the homemade creamy krab dip. The Poke burger with tuna was a generous size and consisted of crispy rice buns stuffed with tuna/salmon/ or tofu (we got tuna), kai salad, avocado, eel sauce, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. It definitely packed a kick, but the avocado kept it from being too spicy for me! The only drawback for me was the crispy rice is on the oily side, but truly this is a huge serving and is really tasty. This is the spot if you're looking for fusion poke options served in bao buns, ceviche, and burger form.
