Someone may be very happy with this firm but not me. Maybe they don't like me, an old man needing a prenuptial agreement. After they got my money, they were very slow and did not answer my calls. Eventually, I had to make a trip to go to their office. When I talked with them, they didn't know anything about my case and didn't welcome me !! I hired this firm about two years ago and Leah Parrish-Payne was my attorney. She was attentive, responsive and really fought for me in my never ending custody battle and stubborn ex. In the matter of a year, Leah managed to get me from a horrible custody arrangement where I was driving to my ex twice/ day, he wasn't allowed to go to pre-k to ensure he had time with his dad to: I make all final legal decisions if dad won't communicate, my son is with me all the time aside from school breaks and we even alternate some of those AND I was granted a move away to San Diego. Something I didn't imagine was possible with how horrible our arrangement was. My lawyer, Leah, fought harder for me than anyone ever has and I am eternally grateful to her for making all these things happen. She is strong, quick as a whip, personable and is a lawyer (and probably friend) every gal needs. She is no longer with the company but, wherever she went, I hope she sees this. You changed my life and allowed me to go from feeling stuck and stagnant to seeing endless possibilities and freedom. I gave this 4 stars only because since Leah has left, I don't have the same experience with the firm. If you never want to get divorced make sure you hire Norma and her non helping paralegals. I filed for divorce back in 2021 and I am STILL not divorced 2023. What they promised was a quick divorce but that wasn't the case. I have NEVER spoke to Norma or Rosie since the inicial phone call where they lure you in thinking they will fight for you and make it seem like they will take care of you. DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU!!! Communication? FORGET IT, because they don't know what that is!! Months go by before I even hear from someone and it's always some bullshit excuse. Completely an embarrassment to all professional women. Untrustworthy, fooled me, left me hanging this is why people don't trust attorneys. I went for a consultation by a close friend. Norma was extremely and highly recommended. I shared some intimate details with her based solely on my friends recommendation that I otherwise would not have shared. Norma made me feel as if she was genuinely interested in my case which is certainly unique and when we finished up we agreed that all I needed to do was bring in the retainer. Time was of the essence and none could be spared she was clearly aware of the situation and it's urgency. Within 4 business days I had the large but nevertheless reasonable retainer X 4 in hand in cash. I phoned in sharply upon opening of business on the 4th business day after our meeting to schedule a time to bring the retainer and a little extra in with a court date in just 6 days and a 4 day weekend right before that. The receptionist said she would have to call me back. I had a variety of other appointments before 2 I had to ready for so I gave her that information and asked that she leave a message if I did not answer, I would be there. After showering there was a message "We regret to inform you we are not taking any new clients at this time, good luck and thank you for contacting us" ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!' What a lovely lady. I am in customer service and I would never tell someone just bring me the deposit and we're cool. That's the same as shaking hands and making a deal then not following through. I trusted her with intimate details and believed that she would do right by me. Instead she left me hanging and told me to go screw my self. As if having to be arrested because I refused to speak without an attorney present in a domestically abusive situation wasn't difficult enough with hard evidence and witnesses to vouch that the allegations against me are false, leaving me cut off from my normal financial accounts, home and access to my work supplies. I even have the police harassing me because my spouse fraternizes with them regularly. Way to empower your fellow women! It's all about the money! read more

I contacted this law office and advised I would be interested in acquiring them as my lawyer. I needed them for a divorce. The first time I sat down with Rosie the office was very unorganized and a lot of paperwork everywhere. We spoke about the situation I was in and she seemed very willing to help. After that we kept in contact regarding the divorce. The communication was very poor. Not what I expected at all. Especially because this was all new to me and I had never gone through anything like this. I was a high wage earner and my ex wife was making little money. So I was in a predicament. I felt that Rosie never did what she could to get me the best result. I had to always contact her first before she contacted me. I didn't even know when I had court dates. Like I said the communication was very very poor. I would not suggest to use her. She did not seem too familiar with family law after a while. I eventually moved over to another lawyer after I had already spent over $10,000 with her. The law office I used after her helped me so much and was actually happy to represent me. I needed to confirm from other law advisors to make sure what happened to my case with Norma was correct or not before I write this review. She violated the legal ethics and her responsibility as a lawyer. She did not perform any of these with me in my case. Lack of communication, which she ignored and not research my concerned, not prepared for the case, did not asked the court for a chance to be prepared or some sort of extension, turned in her response at the time of hearing, did not inform me about my rights and options. Not only that, the judge was very upset with her at my first and only hearing with Norma due to lack in her part regarding a question she forgot to answer and did not go through with me at all. She was lost in the hearing and was not able to speak up in court and her few responses was only in a very low voice and did not show any effort in fighting. She lack any knowledge to support my case. Lacking, because she did not even attempt to even try to listen to her own client. If you really want a good lawyer and Who has good ethics and true professionalism, please do not risk yourself and hiring her as your legal advisor. I did not want to this review until I know for sure this was wrong. I already felt and had my gut feeling she was not doing it right in the court room but I needed legal advice first. If I had a choice I would not even give her any star. Speaking of professionalism, she wears pajamas in her office. I don't care who you are... but if you are in a meeting with a client or working in an office you should not be wearing pjs. Not even the president wears pjs when he's working. I hired Norma for a child custody case in 2017 and ended up representing myself in the end. First off, in my emotional state, I rambled on and on in my declaration statement about the situation, which should have been filtered/discouraged. Paperwork filed with the courts was incomplete after the judge had told her so, delaying a time sensitive case by 30 days. She said the commissioner was having a bad day and the paperwork was complete. A month later the commissioner again pointed out that the paperwork was still missing a section. She was not prepared for court, despite all the material I prepared for her. In court she was very quiet and seemed timid in front of the commissioner, in which I took the initiative to speak up. All of her advice for mediation backfired on me. Lastly, she said in the beginning that this wouldn't cost X thousands of dollars....yes it did. Not recommended, especially if your case is more involved. read more
