Honestly the State Park was a more quiet and enjoyable stay than this "Resort". We decided to relax in the pool for the afternoon but found a woman had taken it over as her own. After asking her nicely to turn it down a bit, we appealed to the staff to ask her again and were surprised that he said no, although he "did notice the loud music but didn't find it excessive and they have no rules against it". If this is your vibe then this is the place for you. Ridiculous, her kids couldn't even hear her screaming at them! Got the feeling he just didn't want to deal with her. After her husband arrived with a fresh drink for her she got passive aggressive and started playing head banging music louder and picking her toe nails at the edge of the pool-- GROSS! We were trying this Resort for consideration for a long term stay but if the staff isn't going to deal with super loud disruptive people ruining other's enjoyment then I wouldn't stay here again. read more

We come here during the summer. 3-4 months. The river community here is awesome. Everyone is friendly. The staff is helpful. The front gate is helpful also. The pool is nice, the launch ramp is okay, it could use some updating but overall you will love it here. read more

Look 1st off this place is pretty cool, but the boat slips are so shitty, if you are a guest they put your slip right up close to the massive wake other boats generate, should be fine if you have fenders, think again their docks have exposed metal that just take chunks out of your boat, you are better off trailering your or beaching , don't take the slip and save yourself 50 a night plus a fucked up paint job. read more

It's located on the island side of Lake Havasu, not far from the London Bridge. It's a big RV park, a combination of mobile homes and RVs. Lots of snow birds here, the residents and the staffs are very friendly. It's a gated park, security guards on site. All the renters who are staying at the park need to present a sticker in order to get in. So, it's pretty safe. They have a private beach and dock where the residents and renters can dock their boats. There're at least 10 laundry and 20 dryers in the laundry room, good space, nice and clean. Their restrooms are really nice! It's the best one we have ever seen! They have different activities each day. We attended donut & coffee Tuesday. We were here the week of Thanksgiving, they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner, how nice! Not long after we had settled in, a toy hauler two doors down from us knocked down the utility when backing up their trailer, power went down and water splashed. We were worried that they might not be able to fix it coz it's Thanksgiving week. But they had people come to fix it right away. Power and water both came back on just in couple of hours. Impressive! The pool is heated, it doesn't contain chlorine! The pool is really clean, well maintained. The hot tub is a bonus to us, we always like to go hot tub in the evening. The capacity of hot tub is 7 people. One night, there were 17 people. People love hot tub for sure! It was a quiet park until the night before Thanksgiving. One trailer pulled in, full with people. They played loud music, kids made lots of noise. Loud music went on after midnight (the quiet hour is from 10pm to 8am), didn't see security guard do anything about it. We had to call security guard, music finally stopped. Next day more young people checked in, they drove razers around the park and lots of parties went on until late night. Again, security guard didn't do anything about it. We would have gave more stars if the park would be more proactive on noise control. As a big park, there's only one trash compactor on the front parking lot. A bit inconvenient. The lots were tight, have gravel on the ground, and concrete patio. They only have discount for militaries, no Good Sam or others. read more

This has been our favorite place when going boating on Lake Havasu. We have so many awesome memories with friends and family that have spent time with us at this resort. It's location cannot be beat, as it's on the point of the island. Centrally located on the lake with great coves straight across the water. The resort has a wonderful, large pool that was recently remodeled. A hot tub. Gym. Large RV spots. Full time residents and many second homes / vacation homes that many are available to rent short term. The staff is friendly and helpful. The resort allows children and pets. They even have their own boat docks and launch ramp. Visit Lake Havasu and stay here if you can. It's always a good time for relaxing or boating. read more

We love the Beachcomber Resort so much that we bought here! We had been coming for years; either with our own trailer, or renting a unit. We LOVE the fact that it's out on the Island, with our own launch ramp, beaches and boat slips! We are RIGHT on the lake! Back in the day, we used to go to Lake Mohave, but I always wanted to stay ON the water. Then we discovered this oasis! SO wish I had figured it out 30 years ago! We feel far away from the busy-ness and crowds of town, but close enough to take the golf cart over the bridge to visit the shops. We LOVE that we are right where the action is during boat races and other Lake related activities, but away from the masses. (It's fun to watch the Site 6 shenanigans from our side of the fence on hot summer nights, and then go back to the peace and serenity of our little grotto! ;) Love the new clubhouse with gorgeous restrooms and showers; really helps when we have a bunch of friends or fam staying over- they can ALL shower and get ready at once! Love the laundry facilities- you buy a $5 card, then "sell it back" to the office to get your 5 bucks back-easy peasy! LOVE LOVE LOVE that we have our own launch ramp and boat slips!! We just walk down a few steps and off we go! Love to walk out on the docks in the evening and hear the bullfrogs in the rushes and the night birds coming out on the lake. And sunset out on the point!! The air takes on a golden shimmer while the sky puts on a dazzling display of hues from deep red to tangerine to fuchsia and everything in between! Absolutely amazing! And hanging out on the main beach or one of the many little coves along the shores is always relaxing! Love to paddle board out early in the morning and watch the Lake wake up! Love that it's gated- very safe and secure! LOVE that the security cruises the Resort all the time. When I am there alone, and wide awake at 3AM, nothing beats seeing the guard cruise by, keeping watch over our little village! I feel they do a great job of enforcing the rules, but not going overboard and being overly strict kill-joys. The Resort isn't a sloppy hot mess with drunken partiers nor is it a Gestapo camp run tighter than a frogs rear-end (like a few other places nearby!). They get it when it's a Holiday and the kids are just wanting to be kids, but they keep it from getting too out of hand. But what I love the most is the PEOPLE. Winter brings folks looking for sunny days and a ton of activities! Summer brings families looking to boat and BBQ. Each brings a different vibe and feel to the community, and each is equally wonderful. The office staff is always gracious and patient with me; even when I am not. :/ They have always been professional and helpful; therefore endearing themselves to me greatly! All in all, this has been a wonderful experience for us. I mean, when I'm sitting on a cruise ship in an exotic port and turn to The Mr and say, "Man! I can't wait to get back the Beachcomber!" Well. We rented the mobilehome at space A76 from owner Larry Broyles from July 27-30, 2023. The mobilehome itself was very nice. However, before we booked it I had asked Larry if the air conditioner was it good working order knowing it would be around 115 degrees and he assured me it was in good working order. The mobilehome got up to 90 degrees inside during the day even though I had the thermostat set to 72. He kept saying it was due to the fact it was so hot out but when I spoke to a few other homeowners there who had newer air conditioners theirs was at 74 and comfortable. I tried letting him know that he needs a newer air conditioner as that is obviously the problem and he basically said it was my fault for renting it at this time of year. So, I would not recommend this unit during the hot summer months as the air conditioning sucks and it was pretty miserable. read more

Our site was cramped and the water hookups leaked. The site was the most difficult to level we've seen yet. The prices were high, but there was no cable TV or WiFi unless you started an account with the local provider, and you had to take your trash out of the resort because there were no trash cans or dumpsters inside. There were no grills, fire pits, or picnic tables and the roads and facilities were in disrepair. And though the heated pool and hot tub were nice, their "Gym" had only a bicycle and one cheap machine that only did a couple of movements. If you wanted to do laundry, you had to buy a $5 card, then put money on it in order to do your laundry there... the change machine was always empty. Out of the many RV Parks we've visited, this one was the worst yet. It was not a good value for us. read more

Our second and LAST time staying here. The staff gives wrong information and rude. If we could give it a negative star we would. I called ahead of time to get the width of the spot. The female advise it was 30 feet wide and would accommodate my rv and trailer side by side since there wasnt a pull through spot. When we arrived, and we drove from out of state, the rv spot was more like 21 feet wide due to trees and bushes. It was so effin ridiculous trying to park. Luckily a nice couple who had a big enough truck, helped move my trailer so I could pull the rv in and then move the trailer back. The rear mud flap on my rv was damaged from scrapping on trees. In the end, the female just simply said "sorry" with a I dont give a s**t attitude. I would also like to add, check out was 11am....we got a call at 9am asking if we were checking out. WTF...can you push us out any faster. This is a bait and switch business....you do not get what you pay for!! read more

If your looking for a true lake experience, this is the resort to visit. Wake up steps from the water and your boat, see the awesome views from beachfront decks and meet some of the nicest people on an afternoon golf cart ride around the park. Never again will I have to wait to pack up vehicle and for all the late sleepers in the group to wake up just to drive down to a crowded launch ramp by 12 or 1 pm. I'll be at the beachcomber baby. Was having some work done on our home in Havasu so we decided to stay in our RV at a local resort as a mini 2 night staycation. On Friday 4-17-20 I called around to find a beach/lake view space, the reservationist at Beachcomber said they had a space with a beach and lake view, I gave her a credit card # and made arrangements to come by and see the space the next morning (Saturday). The request was for the Following Tuesday and Wednesday nights. When we visited on Saturday morning we found that the space did not have any view at all and the beach access was down the road. The space was not in an RV RESORT setting, it was between two older permanent trailers with older permanent mobilehomes blocking any kind of view. I called her immediately and said we did not want to reserve the space as it was not what she described. She then notified me that she already ran our credit card and that they do not give refunds! This was 3 days before our requested check in date. I was very upset with this and turned it into my credit card company as a dispute as we did not stay there. The dispute was denied because I didn't have a receipt of payment or a document showing our cancellation. The park never provided either as we never formally made a reservation and she did not provide any kind of cancellation document! Needless to say, they ripped us off for $129.00! Certainly no way to earn referrals! read more

We were lucky enough to get a spot during a busy weekend in spring break. The spaces are large and clean as well as the restroom. We hung out at the beach most of the day on Saturday and the beach did not disappoint. There were stairs or a long ramp you could walk down with your wagon of stuff. The walk from our spot was not far from the beach and we were in the back row. I also noticed that it was very quiet at night! We will be back! read more

Here is my experience of Sam's beachcombers. First off I would like to say Sheri that works in the office needs to stay home or crawl back in whatever hole you crawled out of .. I would give this place 4 1/2 stars if it wasn't for her. She makes people move spots for no reason , they cannot get their calendar right. Also My motorhome converter burnt up because of the electricity powering my motorhome from the park . The power box was sparking and making noises. Rv Repair guy came out and said he's always there fixing motorhome electrical problems in the row I was staying in beware stay away from rows that start with A.. I thought it was maybe my wife and myself maybe having a bad day.. well come to find out everybody in the park does NOT LIKE SHERI.. hope you read this Sheri and maybe change your attitude with customers cause you really ruin people's stay at Sam's beachcombers...could not wait to get the keys to my new house and never see her again. read more
