Convenient location right in town. Lake Havasu State Park is right down the hill and has a very…read morenice nature trail with cactus garden. There was also a good Mexican restaurant and a great distillery very nearby. Also adjacent was a mini mart with deli that had a decent selection of snacks and beverages, but was not open in the evening. The people in the office were personable and accommodating. The guests (most of whom were long-term, at least in winter) were far-and-away some of the friendliest we've encountered in our travels. This was especially important since sites were very close to one another with little or no room in between--luckily, we have a small rig which doesn't take up much space. We requested a picnic table which they gladly delivered. There were roomier spots but they were occupied by long-term guests with large rigs. We had a filtered view of the lake, because our rig was taller than the trailers between us and the view. They do have a pool and spa which we did not use. As far as I could tell the bathrooms were not cleaned even once during the week that we were there, so they were grungy--at best. I tried to keep one sink clean and use it when I needed to do so and cleaned the shower each time before I could use it. Trash was emptied just before it overflowed. We'll probably look for a place with cleaner facilities if we pass through again.

I can't say enough good things about Campbell Cove RV Resort! I stayed here for almost 3 months…read more The location...it's close enough to the lake that you can walk to it. Some spots have a lake view! There's a great little store and deli just outside the park in case you need a snack. The people...the folks that take care of you (Connie & Tabitha) are the best! They will assist any way they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Everyone I met was so friendly and that's important because you are close to one another in this park. Even being close, I never heard my neighbors. Now if like me, you enjoy playing a little Texas Hold 'Em, they have a very fun, friendly Friday night game. I highly recommend! Book early...this place fills up and for good reason! Enjoy your stay at Campbell Cove!

We LOVE Sam's Beachcomber Resort! Have been coming here for over 6 years now. We rented through out…read morethe years from many wonderful mobile homes and owners. Our dream came true last year. We bought our amazing waterfront location off the main beach area! The views are out of this world and our little home is made for sharing with loved ones, friends and rental guests. Highly recommend our resort. 24/7 gated security, Pool, Jacuzzi, recently remodeled bathrooms/showers by the pool, recreation room, gym, private launch, slip rentals, laundry room.

Honestly the State Park was a more quiet and enjoyable stay than this "Resort". We decided to relax…read morein the pool for the afternoon but found a woman had taken it over as her own. After asking her nicely to turn it down a bit, we appealed to the staff to ask her again and were surprised that he said no, although he "did notice the loud music but didn't find it excessive and they have no rules against it". If this is your vibe then this is the place for you. Ridiculous, her kids couldn't even hear her screaming at them! Got the feeling he just didn't want to deal with her. After her husband arrived with a fresh drink for her she got passive aggressive and started playing head banging music louder and picking her toe nails at the edge of the pool-- GROSS! We were trying this Resort for consideration for a long term stay but if the staff isn't going to deal with super loud disruptive people ruining other's enjoyment then I wouldn't stay here again.
