The staff are unhelpful, unprofessional, and seem like they simply don't care about the guests at all. Any issue or question turns into a problem because no one is willing to help or take responsibility. The attitude toward customers is terrible, and it feels like they treat people like an inconvenience rather than guests. For a place that attracts so many visitors to Lake Havasu, the management and service are extremely disappointing. The organization is poor, communication is bad, and the overall experience was frustrating. I would not recommend staying here. There are much better places around Lake Havasu where people actually care about their customers. Very disappointing experience.

Convenient location right in town. Lake Havasu State Park is right down the hill and has a very…read morenice nature trail with cactus garden. There was also a good Mexican restaurant and a great distillery very nearby. Also adjacent was a mini mart with deli that had a decent selection of snacks and beverages, but was not open in the evening. The people in the office were personable and accommodating. The guests (most of whom were long-term, at least in winter) were far-and-away some of the friendliest we've encountered in our travels. This was especially important since sites were very close to one another with little or no room in between--luckily, we have a small rig which doesn't take up much space. We requested a picnic table which they gladly delivered. There were roomier spots but they were occupied by long-term guests with large rigs. We had a filtered view of the lake, because our rig was taller than the trailers between us and the view. They do have a pool and spa which we did not use. As far as I could tell the bathrooms were not cleaned even once during the week that we were there, so they were grungy--at best. I tried to keep one sink clean and use it when I needed to do so and cleaned the shower each time before I could use it. Trash was emptied just before it overflowed. We'll probably look for a place with cleaner facilities if we pass through again.

Some spots have a lake view! There's a great little store and deli just outside the park in case you need a snack. The people...the folks that take care of you (Connie & Tabitha) are the best! They will assist any way they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Everyone I met was so friendly and that's important because you are close to one another in this park. Even being close, I never heard my neighbors. Now if like me, you enjoy playing a little Texas Hold 'Em, they have a very fun, friendly Friday night game. I highly recommend! Campers and Travelers beware…read more When I requested a refund, I was told I could only rebook and that refunds were not offered. I strongly disagreed with that position and disputed the charge with my credit card company. The dispute was resolved in my favor, and I received a full refund. Take that Scams, I mean Sam's.... In my experience, Sam's refund policy was unfair and left me feeling like the business was trying to keep my money rather than work toward a reasonable resolution. Customers shouldn't have to resort to a credit card dispute to receive fair treatment, but glad I did. Shame on you, Sam's scams. I hope you reconsider your refund policies and start treating RV travelers more fairly. After all, we made you who you are, not the other way around. We recommend disputing the credit card charges if not given a refund.

Good luck getting home within 2 hours if you take the last boat back. They don't care and you have to wait for all of the staff to finish working. The boat should have left at 1230 but does not leave until after 1am. Also if your gambling after midnight they will just randomly shutoff the machines and even if your in a bonus they announce time to go and no warning! Good luck but I know I'll never ever be back! Save your money for a good steak or a fun excursion as you're not going to win anything not even a good time here!
