Boat slips in the marina outside the hotel and casino
    Manfred M.

A very pleasant stay with clean rooms, easy parking, friendly service, and all the fun you want within a hop, skip and a jump. Tukukan is a solid restaurant with all the stand byes on their menu including a steak & scallops special that was as good as many a place back home. View of the beautiful blue of the lake all around. The pool and jacuzzi is an intimate set up where you can take in the evening stars and lights across the way after a day in the boat. The ferry is located right outside that gets you across the lake to London Bridge in 20 minutes flat. Boat, jet ski and SUP rentals next door if you didn't haul your own fun along. The bar is lively with a nice outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air and moon glistening off the lake. Already planning my next trip back.

This review is for the NEW Havasu Landing Resort & Casino. I really wanted to be excited BUT- here we go.... there are so many things they needed to have in place BEFORE they opened this place, because it has a lot of potential. But now people have formed opinions on what they've experienced today at the opening. So let me say first of all it is WAY better then the old Havasu Landing but if they want people to frequent this place they NEED TO listen to what the customers are saying it is lacking- The tables were not ready for play -so at the soft opening they sat closed! There is a shortage of servers at the restaurant AND there is only one place to get food other then a vending machine!!! The food in the restaurant in my opinion was descent but I heard a lot of complaints from other people who did not like what they ordered or after an hour of waiting just got up and left. The bathrooms are too small to accommodate the crowds. And there is no seating at all outside as you wait for the ferry. This bothered me the most because so many seniors will be the ones utilizing this the most and many of them can't stand long. So there are pro's and con's. I will definitely be back since this was the soft opening- I am sure the wrinkles just need to be ironed out.

    Stain from 2nd night

Stayed at the hotel over the weekend. I give one star rather than none only because it is new and everything appears to be clean. (And YELP does not allow zero stars). We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and the food was less than desirable. It was awful. DO NOT order the Frito Pie...you'd be better off bringing a bag of Frito's with you and throwing them on a plate. The staff was friendly but service was slow. As for the room...seems like a normal standard King. For the price, I would think they would have better upgrades. We were EXTREMELY upset when (after the first night) there was some sort of stain on the bed (see pictures) the darker one was from the first night...I called and told them to have housekeeping change everything out...which they did. I think it was blood of some sort. When we came back to our room that night, I checked the sheets and all looked good. Then the second morning ANOTHER stain...same spot. (the lighter one pictured) it apparently is in the mattress and every time weight was put on that spot...the stain would come through...EWWWW! Totally unacceptable and EXTREMELY disgusting. Not sure if something was dead in the mattress or not. You would think with COVID and the strict policies, they would have offered us another room, but nothing was offered to us. I could have asked for another room, but it is their job to be proactive with something like this. I will not be staying there again.

All I can say is wow

We tried out the casino and restaurant before the new place opened. The restaurant was nothing special. The food on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 4 The docks and casino were awesome. We would have just taken my boat over but for $2. Round trip on the ferry. You can't beat that. The ferry was very clean and nice to sit back and enjoy the ride. I will be going back. Had a great time!!! Looking forward to checking out the new place.

    Frito pie by the lake.

Attractive building and terrific looking restaurant. Big beach/lake views especially from the patio. I really enjoyed the frito pie. Smallish casino with blackjack/slots offered. No craps.

    Boat to Havasu

Had a great stay at the hotel. The serenity of the desert and lake was a beautiful compliment to the night life of the casino. Everything was very clean, felt safe the entire time, and the drinks were cheap! I'll definitely be coming back.

Very mixed experience!…read more So, a little background's probably in order. Three friends and I got together this spring and bought a pontoon boat. It's the first boat any of us have ever owned, so everything's new. When I called about reserving a slip, Linda told me to just reserve it on the Dockwa app. OK. I download the app, make the reservation. There's a description of their secure facility, their 24 patrol. There's also a posting that they will not rent slips unless you own the boat, that you must show registration. OK, the boat's registered in my friend's name but we're all equal owners, I think we're good. We arrive after the office is closed but well before dark. We meet up with the friends that drove in their own car, touch base with security at the front gate. He gives us our slip number. We launch, give everyone a little spin around the lake, then get the boat into the slip. It's all a little terrifying because I'm so new at this, but so far things have gone perfectly. Next day, same big group, in both cars, arrive at security. We explain we arrived late, couldn't get our parking pass and he lets us in. We boat, we swim, have a great time, no issues. Day 3, we all pile in the cars, explain that we forgot to get our parking passes and security waves us through. We figure we'll finally get those parking passes we keep forgetting and go talk to Linda. And that's where the day gets nasty. Linda's irked that we didn't check in when we were "supposed to". Linda demands to see the registration. I explain that four people are co-owners but that only one is on the registration. She says she doesn't believe me. She says I rented the boat and am lying to her in order to get the slip. I ask how we can solve this, considering that we're now in Arizona and the boat is registered in California and the same guy on the registration bought the insurance. She tells me again that she thinks I'm lying. She explains that I need to get my name on the registration or the insurance today or she'll cancel the slip rental and that if I try to moor the boat in the slip tonight without solving this issue that their security guy will chain the boat to the dock and charge us a $275 fee to remove the lock. Would a conversation with the guy on the registration work? NO. Would a video chat where he can show you his ID? NO. She says I should have called her if I had any questions and I want to scream, "I did!! You told me to use the app!!!" I'm out of ideas so I go talk to the ladies that are part of our group and the whole gang goes in again. For the third time, Linda says she's 99% sure we're lying, that we must get something on paper and we must do it today. I call the friend listed on the registration and 2 hours and $80 later the insurance company has added my name, officially, to the policy. We e-mail that to Linda and she says that she's talked to her manager and that "this time, we'll let it slide". Let it slide??!! We wasted several people's time and dropped $80 to get you exactly the thing you asked for and now you act like you're doing us a favor?!! Yes, the marina is a private business and they can make whatever oddball policy they want. And no, I'm not looking for an apology. But Linda's behavior was remarkably discourteous and totally unprofessional. And when we finally proved that we were not the scammers she accused us of being, she acted like she was doing us a favor. But wait, you may be thinking. You'd been there a day and a half before this happened. Shouldn't that top-notch security team have noticed that a boat was moored that hadn't checked in? Shouldn't someone have noticed that two cars had been parked for two days without parking passes? Does that mean that there's nothing but the most meager security on that property and that if you hadn't bothered to check in, that none of this would have happened? That you could have enjoyed a lovely 4 days vacation without ever getting a parking pass or checking in for the slip. Yes. That's exactly what that means.

We've had some mediocre experiences and some BAD experiences, and this place takes the CAKE for being AWESOME!!! We had a party of 8, 2 adults and 6 older teens and had reservations with a different rental company and less than 48 hours prior to our reservation they had to cancel due to mechanical issues. We were left without the size motor and length of the boat we felt comfortable using for 8 adult sized people, who wanted both space and power to pull a tube and have fun. Thankfully we found Havasu Adventure Beach! WOW! I am SO glad I did! And INCREDIBLY happy that the place we originally booked ended up not having the boat, because this boat had MORE horsepower and was CHEAPER!!!! Not only that, but the deposit was also significantly less and was refunded in less than 24 hours. The staff were ALL amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and made our whole group feel welcome! And YES, they really are RIGHT in the water, so no launching the boat or having to get it onto the trailer at the end of the day. You park your car right there and the boats are in the water and waiting! One thing that really stuck out was upon our return in the afternoon, after the boat was perfect all day and we all had a blast, the gentleman working helping guide us in yelled out, "Hi guys! How was your day? So glad to hear you had fun! We really appreciate your business, we know there are lots of choices in Havasu and we are so thankful you chose us!" WOW!!! Talk about customer appreciation! Especially after the HORRIBLE owner I delt with at the rental place we 1st booked. Night and Day difference!
