We used Sam's to deep clean our empty home that we were going to put on the market to sell. Sam's was recommended by our realtor. On the surface, it looked like they did a pretty good job. Then I checked more closely. The double ovens were not cleaned AT ALL on the inside. He said that wasn't part of the price quoted. I thought since I was paying $346.40, the inside of the ovens should be spotless. The kitchen countertops were not cleaned. I also feel that the kitchen sink and the upstairs bathtubs were not cleaned properly. I can not recommend Sam's to anyone, and my realtor said he WILL NOT be recommending Sam's again. read more

We hired Sam's to clean out my mother in law's house after we relocated her to austin. Although I opted for the "extra" services in the bid, the Initial cleaning was unacceptable. Was told the house was just "too dirty" and was told there would be additional charges to complete the job. I don't know if this is common in the cleaning industry, but in my opinion this should have been noted by the crew before the cleaning began. I'll leave three stars because they did agree to come back out and see to a handful of the most obvious omissions from the previous cleaning without additional charges and because they honestly did a great job on the kitchen cabinets. Only 1 star because there was no lower rating. Would not abide by their quote and wanted to charge for extra cleaning and scrubbing which I had already "checked the box" on original quote of 7 hours. When I arrived at noon I was told it would only take four hours. Then I get a call that it needed "extra cleaning and scrubbing", the very thing I had checked off on and it would need extra hours. Originally quoted at 7 hours, it took 5 hours and the lady told me she was sorry, it really needed more. I would not sign off on their re-quote, yet they still billed it to my credit card without authorization. These people are absolute crooks. They try to get you on the phone by being all nice and acting like they are your friend. They try to up sell you every chance they get before you even try to order your first cleaning. Only to later on leave you HIGHLY disappointed. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning company. I've been dealing with cleaning companies for 6 years and never have I received such terrible service. Here are the "highlights" -asked for a 2 hour cleaning with one girl. They gave me 1 hour with 2 cleaning ladies and said that was equivalent -I asked for the restroom to be priority within that time. The MAIN thing you do in the restroom is shower and use the toilet! They didn't clean NOT ONE shower nor toilet out of the 2 in the apartment. -I asked for ceiling fans to be dusted. They did not touch them. - broke a door stop - took the toilet scrubber from the side of my toilet k guess they thought it was their own ??? -crumbs still on the stove and counter top post cleaning And get this, they called and said the more and more they clean my glass kitchen table the more and more it smudges. Hmmm... YOU'RE A CLEANING COMPANY! Figure it out! I had to call 2 times and speak with the office manager to try to get them to accommodate me for this terrible service like any good business would do correct? This was a struggle in its self because she made excuse after excuse. Call this morning, Friday May, 13, 2016 and she said sorry she has nobody to send today as if she was saying that there's nothing we can do. She was not the least bit accommodating! And this is what led me to this lengthy review of why you should NOT use this cleaning service. I'm a second year medical student and do not have time to be doing negative reviews like this. So please trust that the fact that I'm taking the time out to do this is a big deal. I wish I could even post pictures of how much they did not do. I guess you get what you pay for. After moving back into our home from hurricane construction. There was dust and dirt everywhere! I tried cleaning myself but forget it. I came to yelp for help! I found Amjad super friendly and very helpful. I told him my situation and what were the main focus points in the house that needed extra attention. The day of the hoise cleaning two very sweet ladies showed up. I've never had my house cleaned so I didn't know if I should conversate with them or stay out of the way. Finding a reliable company that addresses your needs and actually performs the work as agreed is a daunting task. Add to that emotional stress from the death of a family member and TRUST is imperative. I contacted Sam's after the death of my mother to haul away mattresses, junky furniture, trash, etc. Their price was so reasonable and work done well that I was almost embarrassed not to pay them more. I settled for tipping them. I also used their cleaning service next. While it didn't sparkle it was clean which was the objective. After the Estate Sale I contacted Sam's at the last minute to come remove what was left. They were happy to, again at a reasonable price and on my time frame. Yes!!!! Absolutely terrible service. They spent only a couple hours and charged $300 for a cleaning that I could have easily done myself for free. They didn't deep clean anything in my house like clean the baseboards and cabinets. It didn't even smell like cleaning chemicals in my house like I expected after a deep cleaning. I purchased a groupon for 2 hours. When I called to schedule they advised me to purchase another 2 hours for a true deep cleaning of my 2 bedroom apartment, which I did. The maid was a little late to arrive but only by 30 minutes. But, the maid was not aware I had purchased 4 hours of service. She left after 2 hours & the office manager had to call and explain the mix up later that day. The maid was extremely nice however read the fine print or talk with the office before purchasing. I have used Sam's before and was happy with the cleaning service, but today I am not happy. I got a good deal for three hours cleaning, but I was concerned when 2 hours and 15 minutes had gone by and the cleaner hadn't even come downstairs. I should have insisted she do downstairs first, and at that point, I told her to just finish vacuuming and go down. After all, isn't that what most people are going to see? After she did my living room floor with QuikShine, I had to go over several places where I could see she had missed. The entryway was never vacuumed or mopped, not was the welcome mat vacuumed. I had to call her back upstairs to revacuum my master bedroom as it wasn't even clean. After she left, I discovered that my shower curtains were hanging by half their hooks in each bathroom. Not happy. I also had to vacuum my stairs as she ran out of time. Cleaners should know to allot their time for up and down equally. read more

After looking at lots of different local companies and reading tons of reviews, I'm so glad that we decided to go with Sam's to do a deep clean of our home. Our last cleaner ended up stealing checks from our house, which necessitated a police investigation, switching bank accounts, and many other headaches. I was hesitant to try another cleaner and don't trust people in my home now, but Sam's eased my fears pretty soon after I met the two lovely ladies who came to clean our house. Kim and Martha were super nice and did a fantastic job with each and every room of the house, leaving it cleaner than it's been since we moved in. They are hard workers, and each had decades of experience in the cleaning industry. I also appreciated getting a detailed quote up front with a guaranteed price and list of promised cleaning tasks and items, and then the crew followed up by giving me a card at the end of their cleaning visit that checked off the same listed tasks and gave a phone number for any questions or feedback.
