Over the years I have noticed that this store is okay for shopping only around late Sept. through early Dec. on my most recent visit I was hoping things would have changed but I walked into a store with empty racks and shelves. I almost thought the store was shutting down. I found a MAC makeup product that I normally use and that was about it. The lines are not bad and go quickly here. Sometimes it's hard to communicate with employees and I appreciate the effort to go find another employee who can help me. I have never had to return anything so I do not know how the service is for that scenario. I find that going to this store gives thrift store vibes. I like a good thrift store trip but I don't get the same fun shopping experience here. read more

Line of over twenty people only two cashiers. Called manager said inventory was today and there were no people to work. Do better.

Went in to find travel accessories and bags. They have a nice selection of luggage but all in one style - hard case roller luggage. A couple of duffel bag roller styles but nothing else right now. I did find a luggage scale and some accessory packs to help keep my smaller items together. Wandered around and checked out their available makeup and personal care items. Saw they had clearance items by the cash registers and found some apple cider vinegar gummies. I could have picked up tons of items but have to watch what I spend as we want to enjoy spring break. Lisa was great. She had a huge smile and we chatted while she rang me up. The store was neater than most discount retail shops which I appreciate. The associates seem to take pride in their store. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. read more

One of the nicer TJ Maxx locations in Aurora!! To be fair, the whole Smoky Hill area/neighborhood is catered to the high end community. Located next to Southlands Mall, TJ Maxx is surrounded by other craft like/home goods store in a small center of Michael's and JC Penney. I come here if I really want a variety of workout clothes and handbags to choose from. They also have a cleaner restroom and spacious aisles. Coming in, I was pleased to know they were offering clean face masks and hand sanitizer with a greeter in the front. I was surrounded by lots of nice purses and ended up buying a small cellphone sized cross body satchel for carrying my mobile device on hikes/ clubs. Upon checking out, they had fast checkout even though they had a long line of eager shoppers. I was called to one of their booths and had used some nice rewards from all the years I've spent shopping with them. read more

I am a lover of TJ Maxx, not for the clothes (although they are nice enough), but for the accessories. Gorgeous home stuff on the cheap. Plus great designer handbags at a discount. This one in Southlands is a little on the quiet side - which is super nice. Plus decent selection. Nothing over the top (see the H. Ranch TJMxx for that) or too cheap. I have found good deals on random stuff here too (iPhone covers, exercise equipment). Love it! I am a fan! read more

This TJ Max was very nice and clean and have a wide selection. The employees were very friendly and nice at checkout.

So I'll be the first to admit... I like nice things, but on the cheap. You know champagne on a wine cooler budget! TJ Maxx helps me balance these two desires, with some $$ leftover for HH! Yay! I like this location quite a bit. Not only is it the most convenient for me, but it's clean and well organized. I can come here seeking, stemless wine glasses for instance, and find several different kinds. Of course there no guarantee that they'll have a brand you're looking for, but there's always a couple different options. I've picked up a Michael Kors sweater, a Burton snowboard jacket, Riedel wine glasses, and tons more! Just make sure if you find something you like you grab it! You may not find it and def not at such a great price next time! read more

I just left the store. I went in to finally buckle down and get the TJ Maxx card. I'm in this store quite a bit and every time a clerk asks me, I say no. I purchased a few things and when I approached Veronica at register three, she appeared to be distracted with some guys that were standing near the door. She texted on her phone during our whole transaction and she never asked me if I wanted to apply for the card. I'm sure I'll return to the store in a few days. Veronica missed out on getting credit for that application. read more

Another of my digging places. This location is great. They keep the high end stuff in stock much more than the downtown location, and they have awesome furniture. We've been having a blast decorating and stocking our almost-finished basement with the goodies we've found here. Nice and clean, new location! read more

I'm not a fan of TJ maxx. So why the good review? My girlfriend is a purse freak, and they have a selection of higher ends bags for my love. The British/Australian lady with short hair in that department is your go to for excellent advise and she knows a lot about what's new in or out! She's always ready to help and point out my girls brands saving me a wicked amount of time. Fellas if your clueless on what to get your woman head over to the purse department at TJ maxx! read more

TJ Maxx is a good place to go if you want things on the cheap. They don't have much of a selection but if you're lucky and they have what you want it'll definitely be cheaper than others. read more

Stopped in at the end of a weekend and you could definitely tell. Shelves were sparse and very unorganized. We were looking to see if they had any bed sheets before stopping at the store just down the parking lot(yeah, that one) and found maybe a dozen sets in an area that could hold 70-80 sets easily. Staff was in the aisle doing inventory and was pleasant. Meh, it's always hit and miss depending on what you're looking for in these places and they always have some really good finds when you least expect them. read more

I've spent way too much money here. I have a love/hate relationship with this location. I feel like I'm in there so much looking for good deals that the employees think I'm stealing merchandise. I like the revamped dressing room. But why did you guys move all of the books and notepads? I liked looking at them for long amounts of time in the back of the store not being looked at by everyone checking out! read more
