A friend has a membership. So I went. And it proved why I'm a Costco woman. Sam's Club does have a greater variety of snacks and the check out as you go....but lags behind Costco in every other area. Sam's Club seems more like discounts while Costco is warehouse prices. read more

Listen, I don't know what all these complaints are about management. I've had nothing but a great experience here. My favorite part of my visit was the food court! We had 2 hotdog combos, and a huge slice of pizza for $5! Look forward to coming back! There's a pre built PC with decent specs for $999. May just have to pick it up soon read more

We just received the most amazing customer service from Andrea & Maria! They went above and beyond to help make my daughter's baby shower the best. My daughter's big request was pumpkin pies to make into mini ones. When we got there, not one pumpkin pie to be seen. The first person my friend asked said they couldn't get them out of the freezer because they were up high. She said they would be out tomorrow. I live 45 minutes away, there was no way I could return tomorrow. I went and talked to Andrea and Maria, and they are rockstars! I explained why I needed them and they made it happen. My car wouldn't start after shopping, so I asked the auto department for help. They tried to jump it, but the battery wouldn't take a charge. It was 4 years old. They let me know they have batteries but did not push me to buy one. I went inside to buy a battery and found out there were 2 cars ahead of me. They were closing in 30 minutes. They offered to stay after close to help me. Instead, they got a car done in 15 minutes and replaced my battery in a few minutes. They also reminded me to go back inside to refund the core fee. I appreciated everyone's positive attitude and willingness to help me out even if it meant putting themselves out. read more

I've always talked about how much i love Sam's Club. I love their scan and go because I NEVER have to wait in line and I love being able to enter before they open at their regular hours. Plus a lot of items are cheaper to buy here than at Walmart. I used to love the curbside pickup but yesterday picking up my curbside order changed that! Recently Sam's Club put their curbside signs on one side of the road instead of on both but cars can still enter and exit on either side of the road and maybe they're short staffed always now but cars will be waiting awhile at the signs and of course more cars come and we have to form a line in the parking lot so we can have our turn to park at one of the curbside signs. I waited in my car in the "line" for maybe 15 minutes then i waited at my curbside pickup sign for 45 minutes yesterday. And of course I'm not going to have my car ac running so we just stayed there in the heat. I would've gotten my items quicker if I had just got off and shopped for my items myself. The staff is always kind when they do bring me my items but I NEVER want to use curbside pickup again. I'm going to just use my perk of my plus memebrship and come in Monday thru Friday at 8AM and beat the rush. read more

After attempting to grab eggs during the great egg debacle of 2025 from the other warehouse store, I decided to give Sam's Club a try. At the other warehouse store I almost got into a fight attempting to get to the egg case only to see there were no eggs available. At Sam's I walked directly to the egg case and grabbed 2-18 packs of eggs. Look, there are plenty of advantages between Sam's Club and the other warehouse store, but the main advantage is peace of mind! Also... There were eggs! There is no weird, unexplained line for rotisserie chickens! Scan & Go!!!! I still shop at the other warehouse store but I genuinely prefer Sam's Club! read more

I have had it with Sam's club after 21 years of membership. I have tried to call Sam's club for 2 days, no one Answers. I finally got through to Customer Service employee after 2 days of calling and she told me to quit my membership if I do not like it. That's the way it is. Refused to give me her name. Mr. Sam Walton has to be turning over in his grave the way his family has allowed his company has become. Even with Walmart everything has become China crap these days. There are some things I prefer to get at Sam's club over costco. (Not the gas for some reason. My wife loves it but it does not do well in my car) I like the chicken better, the ground beef, protein shakes, almond milk and alcohol selection. The best thing about sam's though is the Scan and go feature. If you don't want to make the trip, they deliver the same day! Score! Sam's Club just isn't Costco. Yes, they look very similar right down to their products. But where it REALLY counts is the culture. The customer service is rough, not well trained. and down right rude on some occasions. This apathetic view to customers comes straight down from manager, trainers, and up. You can tell these employees don't care to be there, unlike Costco. Maybe it's the low pay. Maybe it's the poor working conditions. Maybe it's the dissapearing benefits. Whatever it is, it's trickling down to your service personnel and going even further to the customers. On this last occasion, the customers were downright rude. The number of fights I saw in lines was shocking. I'm sorry Costco. I won't be straying again. read more

Sam's Club has some decent deals, especially if you need to buy products in large quantities. Definitely a great place to prep for parties/events. However, I hate checking in because the service in this area is terrible so I'm just awkwardly waiting for my member card to load on my phone. Also, the lines get pretty long, but self-checkout usually goes by quickly. The Café food is very cheap, but the line is awfully long and overcrowded. I can't imagine that changes to the layout could really be made though. There's a Scan & Go option, but as aforementioned... the cell service in this area isn't great. read more

Sam's Club is one of my favorite's especially over Costco however recently they disappointed my family and I as we went on Christmas Eve and the store showed closing at 6pm and with that being said we arrived at 5:40/5:45 to pick up two gift cards for stocking stuffers and while it was suppose to be open the entrance was closed so we asked the worker at the exit can we go in the store says closes at 6pm and it was 5:45 and was told with an extremely rude attitude "oh I guess they closed it early" I get it's Christmas Eve however if your going to close earlier then normal at least keep those hours of store stayed it closes at 6pm and I show up at 5:45 for one item why was I turned away, extremely disappointed with this experience, please do better or make it right read more

Shopped today @ Sams Club,Gosford Rd. Had planed to pick up a few pizzas for Super Bowl. Line I am in had about 10 people in front of me . Only 1 very slow inexperienced counter person taking orders. After 15 minutes,you're reading this right 15 minutes, and only 3 people being taken care of I asked one of the 6 other employees that didn't seem to have anything to do,what's the holdup.....she replied there is a 3 hour wait on pizzas ! Maybe I misunderstood and asked again.she said they had online and such orders to take care of ! I left items I had intended to purchase and left store.I drove to Costco,had NO problem get, pizzas and will return Mon to shop. NO MORE SAMS club for me and since my membership is new I will ask for refund of such. I am still MAD but enjoying my tasty Costco pizzas read more

I'm a member so I had ordered a custom cake several weeks ago and had specifically noted on order to have a particular text on it. When I went to bakery counter Jenny had such a cheery disposition and huge smile on her mug that I couldn't help but be happy. I explained to her that I had ordered a message to be written on it. When she showed me the order form it hadn't made the order that I made. So she said " Don't worry Marc, we'll fix it immediately. I relied " really?" I thought she was just kidding around. She immediately took the Army's Cake and had Maria fix it. And boy oh boy did she fix it! It was gorgeous! No extra charge and they both were very professional and had a very upbeat demeanor. I was one happy camper! I would definitely recommend this bakery for all of your custom cake and sweets needs. Next to Smith's they had the best prices and customer service! Would give a 0 if I could, I would have to say hands down that the management and customer service of the place atrocious!!!!! Make sure to always check the food you buy from here cause more than likey it is expired and I definitely wouldnt recommend ever buying gift cards here cause if u do and it is invalid they will pretty much laugh at you and tell you well looks like you're out the money and then proceed to get on their phone and ignore your concerns and yes this was all done by management. The management at the location has been trash for years and doesnt seem to be moving in the right direction to fix it. Dont waste your time just GO to COSTCO. read more

Curbside pick up is a disaster. I can tell you the exact reason why. People who choose not to read, park where the curbside pick up designated spots are, leaving no spots for those actually needing to park for curbside pickup. Sam's club needs to enforce something to prevent this. Also, we waited over ONE hour for our order. AN HOUR. We seen ONE employee doing all of curbside pickup. He needed help. There was a line of cars on BOTH sides waiting for a spot. This is absolutely unacceptable. This makes the curbside pick up experience terrible because you are waiting so long just to park. Then get your items brought out to you. On top of that they mark that you picked up your order before you even get your order. And also if that's the case that means your food is out of temp. DO BETTER SAMS CLUB!!! read more

So i came to sams club today to get pizza and shop i called ahead to order but they told me 2 1/2 hrs wait so i said ok i need a few things so i will just order inside. I have always been a Costco girl up until last year. My friends had mentioned Sam's is pretty conveniently located and easy to use, with more variety of product. I joined using a Groupon that scored me some cheap membership and coupons and I have renewed and never looked back. Sam's Club is much closer to my house, so that has been a huge plus using their gas station, but that isn't even the best part. Our Sam's club is dramatically less busy and easier to get in and out of faster than our Costco stores in town. The lines aren't nearly as bad, the store is not as packed. Now, if the store is packed, I use Scan and Go which is the absolute best invention of all time. I just scan things with my phone and pay in the app and they scan my receipt and some items at the door check. It is so convenient skipping the lines!!! Sam's also has very simple online order drive up, and that is very convenient when I don't have time to go shop the store or want to stick to my budget without finding extras while I shop. Sam's club I would argue has a much bigger selection of food products overall. I have been very impressed, especially with their snacks, beverages, frozen foods, personal hygiene, and alcohol selection. There is just way more to pick from and the pricing is often a little better than Costco. I do not shop the other items they offer nearly as much as I do those categories so I can speak to that best. There is also even more to shop online, and the plus membership gets you free shipping. I very rarely use my Costco membership now. Price is usually slightly better at Sam's for most food items. Costco for me is better with their deli and fresh foods to take and bake and the snack bar. Those are a big higher quality than Sam's in my opinion. Overall, i would highly recommend Sam's club. Staff is friendly, products are good, variety is great, and it is super convenient! read more

Still love Sam's. Still come for gas. And food. My new obsession? Scan and Go. You scan the items you're purchasing as you add them to the cart with the Sam's Club app, then you walk out. No need to wait in line. This feature alone is worth the membership haha. The lines can be hectic. They, of course, still check your receipt as you're walking out but that's no big deal! It's hard to rate a huge Club store like this. There are things I love, like, or absolutely do no care for. I LOVE the scan and go option while you're shopping. It makes checkout so easy! You just scan each product on your phone using the app as you add it to your cart and pay through the app. I also like the selection. Similar brands to Walmart but not the ones I'm used to from the other Club stores. Some things I just can't use another brand! I DISLIKE that they always seem to have ONE person staffing their food court. We all know how popular the $1 hotdog can be. Having one person taking orders, prepping food, serving food, etc is just insane. Especially on weekends around lunch time. We waited 35 mins one time! 8/10 will return for good fuel prices and other things I CAN switch brands on. read more
