If everything goes perfectly, Sam's Club is great. But the moment something goes wrong, customer service completely falls apart. I placed a large delivery order that was carelessly packed into one extremely heavy box -- so heavy it was difficult to even get into my house. When I opened it, my eggs were smashed, my raspberries had leaked juice all over the inside of the box, and one item was missing entirely. Trying to get this resolved was even worse than the damaged order itself. I called the store three separate times and was disconnected every single time without ever reaching a representative. I then waited in the online chat queue, logged into my account, and provided my email and phone number. After all of that, I was told to minimize the chat to retrieve my order number. The moment I did, the chat session closed and I couldn't get back in. Next, I called the 1-800 customer service line and waited on hold for 15 minutes. When I finally reached someone, I was told they would not replace the missing item -- only refund it. So now I either have to spend another $50+ to qualify for free shipping again, pay for shipping, or make a separate trip to the store. That is not a resolution -- it's an inconvenience pushed back onto the customer. We're leaving for vacation, and the missing item was specifically purchased for my kids for that trip, which makes this even more frustrating. Mistakes happen. Poor packing happens. But making customers jump through hoops just to fix your mistake is unacceptable. This Sam's Club used to be my go-to store, but today I had a very disappointing experience. I accidentally lost my paper receipt between the register and the exit. When I got to the door, the associate asked to see my receipt. I explained that I had lost it and immediately pulled up my Sam's Club app to show my digital proof of purchase. Instead of trying to help, she rolled her eyes and told me I had not paid for my items. Being accused of not paying, especially after showing proof in the app, was embarrassing and upsetting. I understand that associates need to verify purchases, but I expected to be treated with respect and given the opportunity to resolve the situation professionally. I then asked to speak with the store manager to report how I had been treated. Instead of addressing the associate's behavior or my concerns, he simply told me to get back in line at the register to have my receipt reprinted. While I understand a receipt may have needed to be reprinted, my concern was about how I was treated and the false accusation that I had not paid. What made the interaction even more disappointing was that, at the end of our conversation, the manager did not apologize for the experience or acknowledge my concerns. Been shopping here for years and never really thought to review Sams club. I've been a Costco shopper for much longer, but I've had both memberships for about 5 years now. One thing I noticed between the two warehouse stores that is remarkably different. Like Waaaayyy different in a good way. It's Sam's club fruit. They hit EVERY time. Not once have I been disappointed with ANY of their fruit. Not once. Costco is a serious hit or miss with their fruit. Not their produce overall, just their fruit.Their Avocados never fully ripen and then go bad, their bananas go from green to spotted completely missing the bright yellow ripened phase which is annoying. Anyway, back to Sam's. Lol So after an amazing 9-day vacation to Jamaica, my husband and I returned home and started a fruit only detox. We ate only fruit for 7 days and it was game-changing. What disturbed me even more was a serious food‑safety issue that Liz directly contributed to. When I entered the store, a cart full of cold items had been left sitting out. Two hours later, that same cart was still there -- and I watched Liz instruct an employee to return those items to the shelves. Cold food sitting out for hours should never be reshelved. That's not just poor judgment; it's a health risk. This experience left me genuinely concerned about the store's leadership and food‑handling standards. I waited an hour plus to get back to me, told me they won't STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT & WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE, but they will reach out to the main tire guy Tim G for all of Sam's to decide on the issue. I waited 2 days, & never heard from them. So I called customer service which is now based in the Philippines, told them I wanted to talk to the Club. They transferred me to the club, I talked to the main manager of the tire department. This is for their Filet Minon in their "Prime Beef" section . I used to drive to Costco for this special cut of meat but Sams club is closer. It's about $24.00 per lb but well worth it. Only downside is you have too purchase about 4 steaks but the leftovers heat up easily in the oven at 170 degrees which does not overcook it while reheating. Preparation: Season well and pan sear at high heat 1 minute each side in cast iron skillet. Finish in oven, same skillet at 300 for 10-15 minutes or untill you reach your desired internal temperature. Avoid if You Need Premium Gas If you need premium gas, don't bother stopping here. I've been coming to this Sam's Club for the past 3-4 years, and the premium pump has *always* been unreliable. Whether it's completely out of service, barely trickling out fuel, or randomly shutting off mid-fill, there's never a guarantee you'll actually get what you need. To give you an idea of how bad it is--when the pump is running slow, it takes **8-10 minutes just to pump a single gallon.** Yes, *one gallon every 8-10 minutes.* On top of that, because the fuel flow is so weak, the auto shut-off valve doesn't activate properly, leading to massive overfills and fuel spilling everywhere. Long-term, this can damage a car's charcoal canister, which is an expensive fix. After years of dealing with this and no sign of improvement, it's clear they either don't care or won't invest in fixing the problem. If you're getting regular gas, you'll probably be fine, but if you need premium, don't waste your time. There are plenty of other gas stations that actually maintain their pumps, and NONE have this issue at any time of day, morning, or night. read more

It's a hit or miss with sams. I come here for "bigger" items. Toilet paper, paper towels, snacks for the kids etc. they usually have items in stock. But from time to time I can't find certain vegetables/fruits. I guess it's whatever produce is available at the time. Understandable, it's a pandemic. The bakery also is great here. They do custom orders and it's cheap! I got 36 cupcakes for like 15 bucks or something. I also enjoy the deals on the kids clothes and random seasonal things they have. Mean staff. We were just visiting from Oregon where we don't have Sam's Club store. We just went here because I was craving for chocolates and this is the closest store to the Spring Hill Suites where we were staying at: We didn't know we had to be a member in this store to buy here but we were able to go in. We got two items worth like $23 and when we checked out we found out we needed membership. We asked one of the staff and she said we can't checkout out without membership. So, we asked a stranger if he could help us checkout who was very kind to let us checkout using his membership card and we paid. Then another lady talked to us (in - mean way) about how we shouldn't do that. We explained to her no one told us we had to be a member and we were not from around here. It didn't matter. She said that the guy who helped us will lose his membership. Well if this is the store's way of thinking they will get more membership from us the more we will stay away from them.
