These guys are great . I got an online quote from Costco on Michelin tires who does not charge for installation. Made an appointment, showed them the quote on my cell phone and they matched the price! Going here was better than costco as you can make an appointment at one of their slow times and minimize your wait. Plus their waiting longe is more comfortable as Costco has none. In addition they have several sales people to accommodate customers as Costco has only one and there is always a wait because their counter person is also answering phones. This location always has a line but that is a good sign as it shows high customer volume. Not to worry, get their quote and come back at a more convenient time for all parties and installation. Since the tire was actively leaking due to a puncture, I didn't have the luxury of planning ahead or rescheduling. I came in expecting a timely repair so I could get back on the road safely, which makes this nearly three-hour wait especially disappointing. A flat repair is typically a routine service, and a wait of this length with open bays is difficult to justify. Customer service is not just about the quality of the repair, but also about respecting customers' time and keeping them informed. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of expectations. I hope management takes a serious look at its scheduling and customer service processes. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, Tom chose to correct my wording with, "you mean the shoulder?"--a distinction that felt less about accuracy and more about asserting authority over a customer. It immediately set the tone. He then informed me the tire tread measured at a 2 and needed replacement. While I acknowledged that replacement was likely imminent, I explicitly stated I wanted to explore repair first and discuss full replacement after reviewing options and pricing. He dismissed the request without meaningful discussion and ended the interaction abruptly. Within minutes, I returned ready to move forward with pricing on new tires. His response--"we're the biggest tire company in America, chances are we have it"--was delivered with a level of condescension that was both unnecessary and unprofessional. Despite having a 12:00 appointment, I sat waiting while he proceeded to assist multiple walk-in customers who arrived after me. After nearly an hour with no follow-up, no communication, and no acknowledgment, I left. Just an extended lesson in how little my time mattered. I contacted American Tire Depot immediately after. Within five minutes, they confirmed availability, provided pricing, and offered same-day service--everything this visit failed to deliver. Efficient, respectful, and refreshingly free of ego. This experience was defined by dismissiveness, poor communication, and a clear lack of respect for a paying customer's time. I had a great experience at America's Tire, and I especially want to recognize Charles for the outstanding service he provided. I stopped by during peak hours to have an air check service on my Range Rover, and even though there was a long line, Charles completely changed the experience for the better. He was extremely friendly, professional, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. His attitude and customer service were so good that I honestly forgot about the wait. Employees like Charles are the reason customers come back. He represents the company exceptionally well and clearly understands how to make customers feel valued. Has been my go to location for many, many years but lately I've been left disappointed. Since store managers Tom and Rudy had both left this location, customer service has gone downhill. With an appointment time scheduled I went yesterday and Charles told me to wait in my car and he'd come get me. Well after 20mins of waiting past my appointment time, I went back inside to speak to him and he seemed to have forgotten his word, while busy on the phone. In addition, there were a line of customers all waiting around while only ONE car was getting serviced in the bay. This occurred over the full hour I was there, empty bays while Charles is busy on the phone setting up more and more same day appointments. When my car was finally done with the simple tire rotation service, I found out that they left one tire under inflated and forgot to reinstall 3 of my 4 custom metal valve stem caps!? Makes me even question if the wheels were even torqued to manufacturer's correct values. Save your time, money & sanity by visiting another location. read more

The corporate office should have a conversation that includes efficiency, customer service and effective communication. A walk in customer with a flat should not wait 3 hours due to poor management. Why not have an express lane for quick jobs. Why not stop taking appointments when you are short staffed and running behind. Why not communicate with customers with an option so they know that the eta tracker is faux not real. A bit of communication with customers makes the difference between a return customer and one with a disappointmenting experience. This shop is in a prime location that would be great if it wasnt operating like its in the middle of no where with people who don't have anything else better to do with their weekday. I recently went to America's Tire to have my tires replaced under warranty, and unfortunately, the experience was much more frustrating than it should have been. My tires were under warranty, but because the company's system had been updated, the manager, Marty, was unable to locate my purchase. I showed him my bank statement as proof of purchase, but I was told that because the purchase could not be found in their system, I would have to pay full price. Marty was not helpful in trying to resolve the issue. I contacted customer service afterward, and they were able to locate my receipt, verify my mileage, and process the warranty correctly without requiring me to pay full price. I appreciated customer service resolving the issue, but I should not have had to make that additional effort. When I returned to the store, Charles apologized for my previous experience with Marty. However, he then began sharing personal information about Marty and discussing his health and personal circumstances. I found this extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Regardless of an employee's personal situation, those details should not be shared with customers. Charles then explained that my replacement tires were not in stock and would need to be ordered. He offered me a different tire, but I specifically declined because I wanted the original tires I had purchased. I was told they would be ordered and that I would be notified when they arrived. I returned Monday and had my tires installed. When I got home, I noticed that the tires did not appear to be new. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my tires were scheduled to arrive Wednesday. This understandably raised concerns about what tires had actually been installed on my vehicle. I called Charles to ask what tires were put on my car. He told me he had spoken with more than 150 customers over the previous three days and could not remember what tires had been installed. He asked me to return to the store so he could inspect them. Overall, this experience left me with more questions than confidence. The warranty issue was eventually resolved through customer service, but the communication, professionalism, and uncertainty surrounding the replacement tires were disappointing. I was leaving work and the TPMS system said front passenger tire was low. I physically checked and the tire looked fine. But the sensor showed PSI at 24, instead of the recommended 34 psi for my vehicle. I decided to bring it into America's Tire for quick evaluation. I arrived here 10 minutes prior to opening on Wednesday morning, approximately 0750. No appointment and no real answer. Tom greeted me and said he'll check for a nail, faulty TPMS, or another issue. After a quick glance he saw a tire dead center between the tread. He said they can patch the tire for FREE because the nail was in the middle of the tread and not on outside walls. They serviced the vehicle and patched the tire and I was on the road by 0900. An hour of my time and $0 out of my pocket. Many place charge $20 for a quick patch and the places that charge $0 are hoping the leak is on the side wall so you must purchase a new tire from them. Regardless, I'm satisfied with customer service, speed and service, and price in this specific case. read more

When I called to complain and explain to them that we've had an appointment for a long time all they can do is apologize. Had to bring my car in to America's Tire after getting a flat from a valve stem leak--ended up leaving it overnight until they opened. As soon as they opened, they were on it. Super quick, friendly service. They got the tire fixed right away, took care of the valve issue, and had me back on the road in no time. Only hiccup? They forgot to return my lock release for the tires, which is kind of important. Not a huge deal, but it's something to double-check before you leave. I called and was told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour with an appointment. So I scheduled my appointment and when I arrived I was told there were three people in front of me and it would take 3 hours to complete. I was asked if I would like to reschedule but I had already driven out there and was told rescheduling would have the same three hour wait anyway, so I stayed. Aside from the regular overbooking, when I got home I noticed they not only did not install the wheel caps correctly, but they had actually damaged one of my wheel caps. read more

Buyer beware. Over the Christmas break, I stopped by to get a free air service. The younger gentleman told me that my rear tires were at 3/32 (time to replace soon he said) and front at 5/32. Tonight, I went to Les Schwab for a free tire rotation (even though I didn't buy my tires there - it's their business model to earn your business); the rep measured my tires at 7.5-8/32 front and 5.5 to 6 rear. I have a RWD EV, so that type or wear is normal and needs to be rotated. Get a second opinion before listening to these guys. Les Schwab has zero reason to lie, as they sell tires. Unfortunately, at no point were we acknowledged or asked if we needed assistance. This experience left us feeling overlooked, and it raised concerns about fairness in how customers are treated. He was wearing a different shirt than the others. We were set to purchase four new tires, but from my first interaction he was curt and almost hostile. I've been a long time customer and have frequently visited several locations from the OC to the IE. they've always been consistently excellent! My interaction with Ian was pleasant. My initial contact was by phone. I wanted to know if a specific Falken tire was available. He informed me that he could order the 4 tires and they would be delivered to the store within 3 days. I placed the order with a $25 deposit. The next day after placing my order, I was advised by Ian that my tires arrived early and suggested I reserve a tire installation appointment. Unfortunately, appointments were unavailable for the following few days. However, I was told that I could walk in anytime and wait or drop off my car. I opted to wait as I desperately needed new tires especially since I would be driving in the rain. There's never hidden fees at America's Tire. They are transparent about costs. I love the protection policy offered. I've used this to my advantage several times. If my tire is unexpectedly damaged by road conditions, they will prorate the used tire and apply the credit towards the purchase of a new tire. My wait time was three hours. This was my choice after they provided me other helpful options. I came prepared with my tablet to watch Netflix, snacks, & a drink. Ian provided frequent updates and ensured my visit was appreciated. My car is driving smooth and quiet with the Falken 60,000 mile tires. They offer higher end brand tires as well as more economical types. I usually go with a brand above average and Falken has always been good to me. If you're looking for new tires, be sure to give America's Tire a chance to satisfy your vehicle needs. Especially the Compton Ave location! read more

I was having such a bad morning rushing to work today. Immediately, I noticed my tire was flat, pulled into a gas station to put air in my tire thinking it was just low. I got to work and it was flat again and I notice a screw in it and a hissing sound. On my lunch break I took my car to americas tire shop, they came out to help me right away, a young gentleman named frank. He assessed my car and told me I could leave it with him, I did. I woke close so that wasn't a problem. My car was ready within the hour and the service was amazing. I'm so thankful for franks communication and thoughtfulness. I don't recommend going here if you don't have an appointment. I hit a pothole on the 91E and then drove the 15 and felt I had a flat tire. It was not repairable but I was so happy there was this Americas Tire 1 mile from where I had triple A change my tire. Tom is a great employee, efficient but unfortunately this place can't handle you if you had an emergency. They will make you wait. I was told it would take until 1 pm and I decided to wait . I got a link and when I checked it says it will be around 12:19 pm and I was happy. But when at the time they were supposed to be working on my car and nothing was happening, I asked about the time and they said that the promise time is not guaranteed and it's not even updated. I made a decision to call A tire place in Alhambra near my house and drive my car back home which took me 1 hour and went to the new tire place. By the time I arrive, it took them 30 minutes to take care of my tires. So if you have appointment , This is a good place but if you have an emergency, go elsewhere or you will wait a long long time.
