Seasonal deals are always a steal when warehouse pricing is in effect. I love that I can get in before the 'real' shoppers arrive, avoiding the crowd. Usually, I am prepared with a list but I also enjoy browsing the isles. It gives me the chance to see what new food items have arrived, what brand of clothing is trending and which home or health items are on sale. I didn't take pics as I was so caught off guard with 1) NO Rotisserie chickens during peak evening hours 2) Plenty empty shelves 3) Food Court unsanitary and they stopped cooking at 6:55p or earlier. Ordered a mattress, no window given for Friday delivery, so I chose Saturday and it gave me after 4, perfect. Saturday morning, however, it was changed to 12-4! At breakfast I receive a call from outside of the country, hard to understand, but the delivery men can be early 11:30, (It's 11:15 now). I run home and wait until 1PM. Finally I call and the rep hangs up on me. Called back and the next rep said they will be here at 1:30, it's 1:19 now. The entire time it showed 'out for delivery' with no info. It is now the next day and it still reads 'out for delivery'. They did show up at 2PM and were very nice, worked quickly, it certainly isn't their fault that there is no organization in the scheduling dept. But I wasted an entire day with places I couldn't go. I have long stop shopping inside the club store because or previous bad experiences. I now solely shop online and pickup the items curbside. On Monday April 27, 2026 I went to stall No 23 at the Sam's Club located at 9400 S Western Ave at 4:50pm. My order was not delivered to my car until 6:07pm. I waited more than an hour and my order was missing items. When I questioned a worker to why it was taking so long he said people had been waiting more than an hour all day. I also questioned as to why there was a line at the door if this was curbside pickup, He said the people at the door were there for Instacart Orders. So it appeared that the Instacart orders were being given preferential treatment. I asked about the refund for the missing items and he said give is 35 days. I contacted the store while in the parking lot waiting on my order. They said the manager named Fernando was gone for the day. I provided my name and contact information. I called the store on Tuesday and again provided my name and contact information and no one called me. On Wednesday I generated a written complaint online via AI and still no one has contacted me regarding my experience. read more

Have had a membership with Sam's for 15+ years. Dreaded and avoided shopping in recent years because of understaffing, self-check out and long cashier lines. Once Scan and Go became available I shop there more often however now my problem is that there are no rotisserie chickens in the evening hours 5-8 when most people get off work and would like to have them for dinner. I went 2 days in a row after 5pm and no chicken. It takes me longer but I go to Costco for rotisserie chicken because they are rarely out and have them during the evening hours. While there I shop for things I would get at Sam's which is 10 minutes away from my home. read more

While I do recommend Sam's Club, I've been a member for many years, I do want to say that since the recent new rebranding, the roasted chickens are NOT the same. They aren't cooked long enough...the majority of them are WAY too light. I have to put them back in the oven when I get home since they revamped that area. I don't think even care for the new white containers. Maybe the ovens are new, or you just aren't cooking them as long as you used to, to get them out to the customers more speedily?? I just got a brand new membership for the first time in over 10 years. I placed a curbside order online -- it was a pleasant experience. This is the only location in my area that offers non gmo chicken by the case. I was able to place an order in the evening and pick it up the next afternoon which was very convenient. The tire shop reception desk to schedule an appointment is the WORST!! I recommend buying the tires from there and having them INSTALLED somewhere ELSE!! They do NOT ANSWER their phone to book your appointment! I had to call customer service, speak to an automated machine, and be transferred to a live person for her to transfer me to the store who wouldn't even give me their name!! If you don't mind the run around then by all means... I will find me another auto shop who ANSWERS THE PHONE!! Called on 1/20/23! I had my appointment at 8am on 1/23/23 according to whoever answered the phone on Friday! He did not want to give me his name and to avoid hanging up the phone, I had confirmed the date and time! I show up with the car on Monday and get to find out that the person didn't put my appointment in the system!!! If I take the tires that I purchased online from there I would have forfeit the warranty!! The customer service sucks!! I know they are probably short staffed but when you call and get the run around, it's courtesy to answer the phone and book the appointment, it's not that difficult! This store is a circus and absolutely disgusting, there is no work dynamic or communication whatsoever. The lines for check out wrap around the back of the store. The check out staff requests for you to download the "scan and go" app but it waits until you have scanned everything to error out. Then it charged my credit card for the items anyway but didn't generate a receipt, so when we went to check out, a valid receipt wasn't available. I had to stand in the returns line (for another hour) for the front desk manager to call someone to re-ring my items, only she didn't re-ring them, she returned them... TWICE. This took 3 hours from entering the store empty handed but filled with frustration and no resolution. I will never set foot in the store again and I just renewed my membership TODAY, which I also had refunded. I'd rather die of starvation than have anything from this horrible establishment (disclaimer, the staff and managet were great, they were very kind) they just didn't communicate enough. I read the reviews and took a deep breath, I used to have a membership and let it go when the South Loop Costco opened. I need to buy a lot of things to supply a business. Paper towels, toilet paper, coffee and the assorted items that go with it, sugar, creamer and cups. Well it was the cups or lack of at Costco, they seemed to stop carrying the ones that we used. Buying them online was too expense for the supply I needed. So I checked Sam's Club out online. Bingo, they had what I was looking for. A thousand 6oz. hot cups 17 bucks and some change. I also was going to be in the area, another plus. While signing up all I could think was the reviews were right, it took some time, they really need some help at that desk, and where to wait in line was also confusing. However, no one was rude. After I had all that in order I was off to shop. I decided to take a walk around to see if they made any changes to what their product offerings would be. In the past they were very business oriented and they still are, which I like. However, they've also expanded into things I'd want for home. More bakery items, a larger selection of bread and rolls (didn't buy any) pita bread, and the large Sabra, plain, red pepper and garlic. They've also expanded their pre-made meals (didn't buy). I was impressed with their larger selection of sundries, several brands of toothpaste, razors, hate to say it more to choose from. I've been looking for a little laptop or chromebook for travel, something cheap so if it's damaged or stolen it doesn't matter. I had some questions on a Dell unit and they were all answered by a friendly associate. All my interactions here were positive, even the guy at the front door when I came in pointing me to the membership desk. When I was leaving he was working the exit door, as he took the receipt he joked, "so we meet again, and come back, so we can again." I don't know how often I'll get out there, but I do plan on getting out there every so often. A change of pace in products and if people aren't rude it will work for me. My wife wanting to have a nice dinner purchased a package of 2 lobster tails which we cooked the same day after they thawed. We cooked dinner and prepared the lobster as we have done hundreds of times in the past. We sat down said grace and both proceeded to cut and bite in to our lobster tails and much to our surprise both tails had a horrible spoiled taste that nearly made me vomit. I really haven't went to any other Sam's Clubs to compare one two but this one it's pretty much chaos every time that I go there the lines are long and slow popular items tend to be gone off the shelf quickly the main thing that I come here for is the family size portion a package for the salmon The salmon is normally about 799 a pound the skin is normally taken off the bottom of it so you can go ahead and marinate it barbecue slice it up whatever you going to do with it I typically try to spend no more than $25 and it gets me at least four servings out of that one package we go there for Ice Mountain Water was you can only get about 30 two bottles out of the one package a couple of fruits and vegetables my family is not that large so maybe some laundry soap I try to go at least one time I'm going to get my membership purchase worth but if you have a large family then it's definitely worth going and stocking up so you don't have to go to the store no more time but this store in particular it's not that clean it's not that tiny is not that organized and they need more cashiers off the time the cashiers have very bad attitude they don't want to be in there just like we don't want to be but if you have to go you have to go to get those items that you need I may have to venture off and some more surrounding suburbs to check out other Sam's Club but I know on Fridays mornings they do a lot of free sample and cooking demonstration that's my only highlight read more

BUT I have to shout out one employee Juanita S. Everytime I go to this location I see her tidying up or helping a customer. And not half ass helping the customers she goes out of her way to look for a item, or to answer a question. If she can't find the a item or answer the question with confidence she will direct you to another Sams location with the item and go as far as asking the management for the answer instead of feeding ppl BS. I highly doubt Sams is aware of what an asset she is, I really hope to one day see her in a management role. read more

Went to purchase a computer, which was locked in a cage in the Electronics department. Couldn't find an associate, so I asked a cashier who was not dealing with any customers if she could help. She got the attention of a front-end supervisor and then simply pointed at me. I explained that I needed an item from the locked cage. She asked me to take her to the item, and then informed me that she had to get a manager to open the cage. Waited 20 minutes but no one came. Went to the service desk and asked again. When I came to pick up the cake, the name was spelled wrong and the work was super sloppy. I asked for a bakery manager and they said that they didn't have one and that I had to see a store manager. I went to this location with my new sam's credit card that I had just been approved for online. I normally use the scan option, get what I need, show the bar code, and go. It's a quick process. This time the app asked me to go the cashier to verify my card. The system would not take my payment, but the cashier and another woman (I'm not sure if she was the manager) were very patient and helpful. I felt so bad holding up her line, but she repeatedly told me it was ok and figured out the issue so that I could complete the transaction. Great customer service when I had an issue. I really like this particular store. One of the exiting receipt checkers is always nice and friendly whenever I'm there. However, I do think the exiting process is really really slow. It's like having to wait in line again after waiting in line to check out. I like that this club has at least 7 self check out stations. This is so convenient and easy. Only if we could get everyone that uses it to understand how it works! The restaurant always has cheese only pizza available, which I love because I don't eat meat. I've been to clubs that only have meat pizza slices. The only caveat is that the frozen yogurt machine is always down. Club carries a wide array of products, especially baby items. I found some true gems here at this store. Last, the pickup process is decent. Whenever I've ordered my things have been ready. However, there tends to be a long line. You have to actually go into the store. They should have someone come out with your items. Instead you have to wait in the customer service line for people making returns and everything else. I would also suggest having a line dedicated to pickup orders if you don't have someone available to bring items out to the carport. read more

Sam's Club is always awesome, easy to get in and out you can find a lot of great deals on everything, very large incredible store where you can find a great variety of household products to stock your pantry where there is a great variety of fruits, vegetables, groceries, meats, cleaning products, and televisions., etc. a sustainable store for the whole family where you can buy in large quantities the memberships are very cheap. Very convenient and fast service, experience and expectations are friendly and helpful customer service. You can also take your meal after you do your shopping. I try and not visit this location for a number of reason! it is a really convenient location with a couple of people I really appreciate and are always willing to help! I love the app that allows me to scan and pay! This particular day I lost the code to leave and I had other items I wanted to purchase but I was having connection issues that rateky happens here! The young lady at the door said "you didn't obviously pay" so I stepped away tried again and to purchase my other items! I thought it worked and I found last purchase! proceeded to door the same girl.. started again with smart antics... I said I'm not moving until you help me... her reply " get out of my line.. I said no I need help.. she said just move I have a line... I said help me.. she then said GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY FACE.. and she kept talking..
