In most respects I love them. There are a few improvements they can make: don't set the robots up to follow a specific path without also programming it to change direction when customers are shopping. I was trying to compare mattresses, and the bot stood there beeping for a long time. I am the customer. I don't appreciate being pushed around by an appliance. Even when Ioved forward to give it a chance to turn, it dogged me. I finally gave up. that leads me to the second problem, they have removed four models so you have no way to test a mattress. How do you know if it's going to be comfortable or not? I don't buy things like that without trying them. They used to have floor models out. They have forgotten about the customer and they're thinking more about how to cram more merchandise into their stores because it means more profit. But a mattress is not a cheap purchase and it's not easy to return if you get a bad one. The samples saved the day today. At 3:00 in the afternoon they had a lot of samples and my four year old granddaughter was very happy. And the employees are very nice. read more

Hi folks. Hope you're having an awesome Sunday. For me, it was the perfect day to smoke some pork. Sam's Club had slabs of pork ribs $2.48/lb. How could I resist? They also sell Dickies restaurants rope sausage at a great price. Toss those in the cart as well. I have my account on the app, so as I toss items in the cart, I scan them. Once I was done shopping, I just hit pay, then left the app open and walked to the exit. An associate scans my phone, then a couple of items, and I am outta here. So today, I got up at 8 a.m., fired up the pellet smoker, tossed those deals I got from Sam Waltons Sam's Club, and the results are in the picture. That's just rub on my ribs at the halfway point. Should have seen them glazed. They looked too good to eat, but we did anyway. Keep your eye out at Sam's Club next time you're looking for grocery deals. We only come for the cafe so if you go just know you have to have a membership now and or you can't get anything from the cafe they just lost customers I've waisted gas coming all the way here for nothing , then they don't tell you at the door or have signs they let you walk all the way to the cafe and stand in a long line just to be told they can't service you without a membership this was a bad move honestly read more

this place is outstanding. The staff is a little on the moody side, however it is very clean and always stocked up. The isles are wide and spacious and the deals are always on. The food is excellent and the Gas is very well priced. The lady greeting us was very friendly as always. Worst Store Ever, when calling into the store and the Customer Service Desk Attendant took the phone off the hook, with no greeeting, nor conversation, after my saying hello 5-6 times they hung the phone up. that occured 5 times and less thatn 1 minute and 20 plus seconds each in holding the phone with no response. Why have a phone line for your business if you staff refused to communicate when the phone rings, even to say, "give me a moment and I will get right back with you to assist you.. Nothing close.. Silent and a Hang up In your face.. What type of business does this. I've been a prime member for over 20 plus years and this is the service I get. 20 second call hold and a hung up in your face. The next 20 yrs will really have to be reconsidered. This is utterly ridiuclous. Management need to deal the the Customer Service person on duty during this time, very unprofessional... This is a review of the optical office. I went to the Sams in my area, no optometrist. Went next door to the Walmart, appointment for 2 weeks out. I called 2 more Sams, and this location gave me an appointment for the same day. I was originally planning on just getting the prescription and ordering online. Maximina was so absolutely nice and helpful. Gave me the rundown on how to get the most out of my membership. She's not the optometrist, but should be. The optometrist was virtual and she did all the work on location. She really cares about patient satisfaction, and I had such an easy time with her. read more

I like this Sam's mainly because they are near me. The store is nice and clean big. They have all the same items that all Sam's have. The food court is cheap and good. Great pizza and hot dogs you cannot beat the price. Sometimes they are very busy so you may have a wait in a long line. Or the pizza may be cooking but most of the time the pizza is ready. Good Pharmacy I like how you do not have a big wait. Also a good place to get shirts, shorts, and pants. And the florist department is good. And low price on gas. My only complaint is the checkout service it can be very poor no greeting and they will not talk to you. Just a blank stare going through the motions. Some of the employees are very bad luck of the draw. The only good thing is they do not stay long and you will not see them again. Same with the food sample people some will not speak either and they are trying to sale the food not smart. If they spoke you might buy the food. The ladies at the door going in and out are almost always nice greet and talk to you. I still give them 4 stars but need to work on customer service. read more

First and foremost , keep the outside cleaner. Assign someone to pick up trash around the store. The pizza oven needs to repaired as well. Everything lease in the store seems fine. Store employees are courteous and professional. Always enough carts. Checking out we are scanned I guess for theft. Easy to come in , a bit longer to check out. My parents have been members for over 10 years and always keep renewing membership for the great price on products they offer. We love how the store gives out samples to try our new products or let you taste before you buy. There is also a sample kiosk machine that when someone scans a club membership card a sample is dispensed. They have an end of season clearance but you just have to look for the signs. They have soo many great members mark items that save our family lots of money with great quality and performance. Over the years i have returned and exchanged several items and always been able to resolve them with the staff. The store has self check out and makes it easy to pay. They also have regular cashiers that are friendly and polite to customers. Anytime i had to interact with the store employees i never had a negative encounter with them. OmG!! let me talk about the food court at the store. Very cheap and very delicious! They tend to be busier on the weekends but the other time of the week but dont let that turn you away from the delicious pizza and slushies! Which is about $2 for a slice and 70 cents for a small slushie. Ok now lets talk about the new store layout. For the longest time i was so confident in finding what i needed but over the last year, i noticed everything changing. The dog and cat food is on the opposite side of what i remember. The bread is all weird layout and the middle section of the store is all snacks. I know over time this will be all settled but i guess i am rebelling against change. Overall I suggest this club and i have not had negative experiences in all my years of doing business here. It is close to my house and there is plenty of parking as well as a discount to its members at the gas pump. read more

I'll be a more regular customer... and have been since my visit three weeks ago. Each time I have been pleased. I did notice a lack of courtesy by shoppers. This is for the tire center men. My car takes an unusual size tire and is usually an order in item. This time providence stepped in and they had four tires from a manufacturer I trust. It was suggested that I make an install appointment so I did. This worked out well from all aspects and in less than a hour I was on my way. Tires are balanced to a smooth ride and the overall experience was very good. Now how many times can one say that given modern life? I appreciate those guys. Thank you. read more

Review is for cafe only. It's been a minute since I've been to this Sam's Club. I was in the area so I decided to grab a slice of pizza and cinnamon pretzel to-go. I really wanted a churro, but this location didn't have any.The woman taking orders was sweet, but you could tell she was overwhelmed. She asked the manager to help in Spanish. But the manager was very rude once she attempted to help. You could tell she wanted to leave the area and didn't want to assist the staff member. Once she gave me my pizza/pretzel she walked off like she was over it. I decided to grab a piece of foil to put over my to-go pizza and she had a little fit about it. There has always been foil seating on the table since I can remember. Manager said she has to put it on pizza. OK, well put it on or keep the foil in the back away from customers. Firstly, I do not understand why my fellow yelpers have written negative reviews based on one experience with "open-bag in the bakery" or "long lines at the food counter". Negative feedback due to rude employees, bad service etc.. is justified. Anyways, I believe that this is one of the best stores I go to. I go there quite often as I stay close by. Their array of products are very useful and well priced. Their staff has always been very friendly, especially their Manager. I loved their 2-tier cake that I had ordered for my 2 year old. All in all, I love going to Sams, sometimes just for their hot-dog-combo or just because I like walking through the aisles to get some exersice (JK). I am sorry if you had a bad day but I think you have to go to any place at least 2 times before you judge them. read more

It's not safe to shop here and there's a total lack of concern for the safety of the employees as well. The manager here doesn't believe in the coronavirus. No joke. They left some items out of my pickup order and demanded that I come back in store for the refund. There's no reason one should have to go IN PERSON to a store for missing items right now. When I said it's not safe to force people to come back to the store for no reason, he literally laughed out loud and stated "WELL THE STORE IS PACKED FULL OF PEOPLE RIGHT NOW, LOOKS LIKE IT'S NOT VERY DANGEROUS TO ME HAHA." What a joke of a manager, store, and company. If that's not a denial of the danger of the pandemic, I don't know what is. Company policy is company policy, but his response was scary and defiantly ignorant of the current situation. Almost no one working here was wearing gloves, and none were wearing masks. Only the ladies and the cop by the entrance and exit had any visible protection on. It's insane and dangerous of them not to have employees protect themselves. I came to this location about a year ago to get a Primo Bottom Loader water dispenser. I did not have a membership here, I actually came with a friend to get this specifically, because I have a Costco Membership and they didn't have the water dispenser I wanted. And naturally I grew up going to Sam's Club because that's where my Mom's member was for. So I like Sam's better, but Costco sits right by my job. I can't remmebr the exact price of the loader but I think with the price of it, and 1 5-gallon water container with a warranty it was less than $230. We love it and drink lots more water because of it. It seem's like all of these membership stores are similar but this one had a crazy parking lot, other than that it was pretty good. read more

This review is only for the bakery, as I have never shopped at Sams before and this was my only experience. I went in to get a cake for my son's first birthday. I asked for it to say "Congratulations! You lived a year! Do it again!" He had to re-do it 3 times and it is STILL spelt incorrectly! I had to go back to work and didn't have time to keep correcting him. The cake was delicious, but if it's for anyone who knows basic spelling or grammar, I would recommend going elsewhere. I enjoy Sam's club & have had a membership for years! This location is pretty close to my house, and has always had what I needed. IT is clean, and pretty well maintained. My only complaint is that there is generally a line... BUT they added self-checkout, which has always helped me get out quickly. Every employee that I have come in to contact with has been friendly and helpful. This Sam's Club is an "A" in my book! My ONLY complaint is that their parking lot is really small. While there is plenty of parking, you normally have to park far away from the door. Not always a problem unless its June-August in Texas. You are dehydrated before you reach the entry! :) read more

This review is about a particular incident, not the quality of the products in their store. I am the primary cardholder at this Sam's club and have been coming here for a few months now for my bulk shopping needs. I was in the fresh food section on a Saturday and was sampling some of the food that was being served. As I approached a woman handing out a sample of sausage on an English muffin, she told me I could not have a sample until my parent came to escort me. I looked at her to see if she was being serious and before I could even respond she repeated herself to me in a very rude way. I said, excuse me I'm 23 years old and definitely do not need a chaperone. As I reached for the sample, the lady said "oh yea, you're 23" in a sarcastic tone. I was so shocked I looked at the woman standing next to me and she shook her head in disbelief. I said "ok" and walked away. I cannot believe that I was treated this way as a paying customer. What makes it worse is that I saw a few young teenagers running around from stall to stall taking samples of whatever they please without ever being questioned. This experience makes me feel extremely uncomfortable to ever try anything at Sam's club again, or even to make it one of my regular store visits. read more

Constantly running out of food for the day, employees don't know what's going on or have a sense of urgency when completing an order, and today they've run out of straws. STRAWS. If I could give this location zero stars I would. Their bakery staff are rude and very incompetent. I will be going to the Grapevine Location for now on. I asked for cake to have the icing on the boarder changed to pink for a girl and was told no they couldn't change a license cake or add happy birthday to the middle layer. Went to Grapevine, they changed the boarder to pink and added "happy birthday, with name." With no issues. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

To start off, the pharmacy staff is amazing. That's about it. There customer service for disabled persons is physically disgusting. The woman at the front ROLLED HER EYES when I asked for a motorized wheelchair. I'm 8 months pregnant with a tear in my uterus. I needed to be in a cart. Instead she refused to even call for a cart. I walked back out to my car. The lack of motorized carts at any given time on top of the rude employees unwilling ti actually FIND what few carts this store has is insulting and has really made me reconsider why I juat renewed my membership. I am Currently disappointed with the number of sales people who are located throughout the store not just the exits and entrances. They are such a distraction to my shopping that I do not even go to Sam's during theMiddle part of the day when they occupy the store distance I have to go to Sam's I go either early or late but most the time I looked for other stores to buy the things that I need. My shopping experience is that bad with pushy sales people trying to sell me things that I did not come in to Sam's Club to purchase I really wish that they would change that. Sams. If you can't find it here. It don't exist. Plain and simple. If you need anything in bulk, Sams is the place to get it. It's an enormous place. Some Tips: -Go in with a list, because if you don't you will be there for HOURS! "oooing" and "ahhhing" at everything. "Hmm, do I need this 4 pack of 1 liter ketchup?" and "Well this gallon container of sugar looks good." Yes, I think I do. -Have your ID card ready. Sometimes they ask for it when you walk in, other times they don't. Its annoying if they ask for it and you don't have it ready. You have to dig for it and then show it before they will let you pass...you'd think you were at the airport. -Sunday's are the best days to go. They have tasting stands. You can try anything that's edible. Really. From enchiladas to fresh fruit to the new smoothie drinks they are carrying. -It's a great place for doggie beds. They're like $20. At Petsmart or Petco they are anywhere from $30-$100. My dog LOVES their beds...not to mention its the only place that I can buy a big one for that price. -Household goods are a must here....TP, paper towels, detergent (both laundry and dishwasher). -Also, not gonna lie. I love their winter stuff...sweatershirts, PJ's...so cheap and yet so comfy. What? That's normal. -Excellent people watching. I once saw two older ladies (think grandma's) getting about 50 lasagna's and 25 pies. I'm sure for their quilt making club or knitting gala. When you checkout, they don't have baggers or bags for that matter. Just grab a box and pack away! Again, have your ID ready. They scan it when you pay. THEN be sure to have your receipt handy when you exit. They go through your list. Sometimes they check everything and compare to the receipt and others they just mark through it and send you off with a "Have a great day, thank you for shopping at Sams." Then you curse yourself when you've realized that not only have you not stuck to your list, but you've also spent $300. WTF? read more

I love this place and we have been members for a bazillion years. We get our vehicle fuel here and make a stop here no less than every two weeks. We often get the best values here. I give memberships to all my employees and some of my family. The only down side is they stop carrying items without notice after we get adjusted to buying here. They do carry some seasonal items and special event items that we take advantage of. read more

The optical department here is complexly unorganized and rude. I visited it about a week ago to purchase a pair of glasses and I wanted the most expensive lenses because they are what I need for work. When I went into the optical department I was approached and explained to the tech what I wanted and that I had my own perception. I then had to wait for over an hour when I was the first person to arrive at the center and her and the other tech assisted everyone else when I had arrived first. I then spoke with a manager by the name of Paula who was not helpful and I found quite rude. I then went to another location where I purchased two pairs of glasses and spent more than expected but they also had wonderful customer service. If you are thinking of visiting this optical I highly suggest going to the sams club in Mansfield. read more
