I was in that neighborhood and had a mood for a pizza. There is plenty of parking as the location is in a shared plaza off 1960. What I will say about customers is they should download the app as it allows you to scan as you go and you can check out of your phone and walk out. The staff leaving is was nice and quick when reviewing the order in your cart. Now as far as the cafe what I would say is I ordered on my phone but still had to wait like $15-20 mins for my order. What was weird was if you walk up to get your order it was provided right away. There was a woman that was visibly upset because she had been waiting for a large pizza. The guy behind the counter seems frustrated and appeared to need help. Meanwhile a long line was forming and I was eager to leave. What I will say is that the test of the store was organized but staff within the store didn't seem happy. I've placed more than 5 orders for pick up and just about every single time, it always gets delayed. I understand if staffing is an issue but maybe Sam's should not offer this service since if they cannot full fill. Another time, it was raining outside and I totally get that it's not fair to have the Sam's workers out in the rain. I was willing to let the storm pass and wait however the Sam's workers came to me and told me I had to drive to under the loading area or else they wouldn't bring out the groceries. I did as asked but wow what a mess they had! Everyone that was shopping was under the port, people were driving to the front to get their families and load groceries, not to mention everyone from the "pick up" parking trying all get under the port. Sam's Club has the best prices for gas. I rarely go inside the store because it's typically busy and semi chaotic!! But I like using the order online and pick up option. It's convenient and pretty quick and Costco does not have that option. read more

My husband was in the men's restroom today and a female worker came in and was cleaning the bathroom. No sign or asking if anyone was in there. She just went in and was working with another male employee cleaning the bathroom while three men were using the restroom. My husband was obviously shocked and asked if she was supposed to be cleaning the bathroom while men were still in there and she said no. So crazy!!! I feel like I'm being very generous with these stars, because it is Sam's, after all so of course I want to give it the benefit of the doubt! I love to get different things and see what new things they have in store, but they are always incredibly busy and not fully able to take care of everyone who comes. The big lots next door looks larger than a Sam's Club and that just ain't right. The icing on the cake which is that the bakery ladies are not helpful at all anymore, although it is not their fault. If you want to get any type of cupcakes or cake or anything anymore, you have to do it online, not in store, and Sam's club is doing away with a lot of its awesome bakery things. That was about half the reason I went there. This was our go-to place for parties and I know that sounds like we don't go often, but we entertain quite a bit. I bought a rotisserie chicken and while I was cutting it, raw chicken juice squirted everywhere. The next day I stood in line to return the chicken and a lady in front of me said that she recently bought 5 rotisserie chickens from this Sam's and they were all raw! Once I was walking around the store, I went by the rotisserie chicken area to tell the employees to please cook them longer because they are raw, a man was about to grab a chicken and his wife told him not to do it because " its never fully cooked inside". Terrible organization at the front check out. No clear "line" for the self-checkouts, so you end up waiting in a long line while others behind you get to check out before you. Need signs that show you where to queue up, and personnel manning the area to make sure the lines are organized and shoppers aren't skipped over while waiting to check out. Very frustrated by this experience on a Monday when it was very busy. read more

Be careful if you us Sam's Club delivery. Some of the drivers they use for delivery steal. I received an email saying my package was delivered, but noting was outside. My neighbor looked on his ring camera and saw the driver bring the package to his house (wrong address) take a picture and steal the package. Been a member of Sam's since 1996 and my current membership is on the synchrony CC. In January, my bill was only $7.58, but I never received the bill in the mail, so I didn't pay it. Mind you, I have not had a late payment on this account in 28.5 years. I got my February bill and they charges me a $7.58 late fee (on top of the $7.58 from January) and $ 1.00 in interest. I called to see if they can remove these fees. I got an operator that said he would remove these fees late fee, but not the interest.I asked for a manager to explain the situation and tell him I would be canceling my card when it is time to renew in June due to them not removing the interest of $1.00. It was just a matter of principle for me. Waited 27 minutes to talk to a manager, told him he was going to lose a Sam's account over $1.00 and he said "sorry, there is nothing I can do". I hope Sam's club knows what poor customer service service their CC company is offering. Costco is literally less than 1 mile away so they will get all my money in the future. Our experience was great. Went to purchase lots of sweets, decided to pick up a Rotisserie chicken for dinner. They were freshly prepared but unfortunately when it was time to eat noticed the chicken was still raw. So I then had to bake it for 30 minutes delaying dinner. It shouldn't be sold this way. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've lived in humble since I was 7 so that being said, we've had to shop at this Sam's Club for years. Now I totally understand that on some days the greeters will ask to see your cards but specifically today was the first time I had experienced some BS. I was stopped at the door and asked for my card, which is fine. However, the only other people the man at the door was asking to see their cards were POC's. There was a short line coming in and way at the front was a young black woman. She was stopped and told to pull out her card. She nodded but then advised she didn't have it, the man told her she would need to leave. She paused and asked if she could use the card associated on her SAMs app. She pulled her cart to the side and was there for a good few minutes because there's barely ever service inside the stores. While she was on the side, two Caucasian families were allowed in and not one pulled out their cards. I was next and I had nearly walked past him when he said he needed to see my card. I dug through my bag and while I was doing so, another couple, Caucasian as well, walked in and were not asked for the card. As I realized I unfortunately didn't have my card, I also realized that he had only asked myself and the young black woman for our club cards. I let my suspicions die for a moment but as I walked out a family of Hispanics walked in and were stopped immediately for the card. Look, I'm not upset that they're asking for cards because I already know it's policy. But if you're going to make a people of color for their membership cards, you have to ask the white families too. The man who was greeting was not very cordial. He was extremely impatient, pushy, and aggressive. This experience left a bad taste for me. GO TO THE WOODLANDS LOCATION IF YOU CAN! read more

What to expect? Slow service with staff that can't find their way back home. In tradition with everything Walton family, they hire who nobody else will for a reason. Parking lot is in very bad shape, carts everywhere in the lot. Humble Sams club certainly delivers on the poor service, poor parking, etc that we have come to love. Worse customer service! If I could give negative stars I would. I had a simple question about a damaged item I needed to return or exchange but after waiting on the phone for over 45m I finally got a hold of a manager. This was only after I had to call multiple departments to have me transferred and was hung up on twice. When I did speak with the manager, Janet, she got snippy with me, stating they were having a membership drive, and that they "couldn't dedicate staff to just sit around and wait for the phone to ring". Fake apologies and smart- alec remarks do not sit well with the mother of a newborn who does not have the luxury of driving to the store everything she needs a simple question answered. Apparently this Sam's location only worries about membership and bringing in new customers but not taking care of the existing ones. read more

The only reason for 2nd and 3rd star is for the lady at the customer service counter and the greeter. She was very helpful and informative...and knew how to use a mask. The other employees did not acknowledge me being there, greet me or anything else. Most other employees need some intensive training in how to use a mask. What I love a out this Sam's Club is how nice everyone is. I've never had a problem with staff, cashiers, etc., What I'm not as crazy about is their selection. They don't seem to carry the same variety that other Sam's Club do. For instance, last year I went shopping for a beach umbrella. They had a smaller, very basic one with no flaps, but it was all they had so I bought it. On the way the beach, we stopped for food at another Sam's further South which had 2 different kinds of umbrellas. The one we bought and another one that was the more deluxe model for an extra $2.00. I love sams for their wholesale pricing and extended business hours. However I must say the lines are so long which is something one has become accustomed to. Nevertheless I noticed in my last visit the large number of senior citizens waiting in the long lines and wished there was a courtesy check out may be in the eye center or somewhere else for disabled or senior citizens. I hate to see them waiting in such long lines, especially considering most of the time they are shopping for a few items. The bathrooms need more upkeep. The staff is very polite and helpful.
