I don't know why I was drawn to driving out of my way to this Auto Zone, but I'm so glad I did. I…read morepassed up one 5 minutes from my residence just to go to this one in Humble. When arrived and went inside, I just knew I would be there for eons because the line was almost out the door due to maintaing social distancing protocols. The employees, however, were working as fast they could to get people taken care of--and they did it without an attitude despite the pressure of a long line. Much respect for that! When it was my turn to be waited on, I had the pleasure of having the Assistant Manager David wait on me. This guy was so chipper. Positive attitude and really a good listener. I told him I had an issue with my car staying cranked and losing power. Had two jumps that day and as soon as I turned the engine off, the car was dead. He understood my concern and was willing to honor the free replacement of the battery, but suggested a diagnostic to see if it was something else (ie. alternator, the battery). Being that there were lines of people, one may have been pressured to just to resolve to a quick solution like just charge the battery and send me on my way, but David was very thorough and took his time. The Latch on my hood wasn't even cooperating and he helped me jimmy it open to at least get the battery tested. Again, he could have gave up and said, You're on your own lady...get your hood to open first and I'll come back," but he really tried to help me out, and he definetly went above and beyond to help a customer out. Upon further investigation, he declared that the battery terminal was extremely corroded, which had way more corrosion that morning when the first guy came by to jump me off. He stated that he guaranteed that once the terminal was replaced, I shouldn't have anymore trouble. Once the terminal was replaced, I asked if I needed to let the car run to charge the battery like I had to do twice today. Nope. The car should crank with no problem according to David. I was a little skeptical since I had been dealing with car issues since 7 am that day and it was like 3PM at this point, but I became a believer! The car cranked and has not had any problems cracking since I had a $7 terminal put on the vehicle with the assistance and guidance of David. He had a smile on his face when he saw how relieved I was at this fix. I thanked him numerous times for his help and patience. His last words were I just like helping people out. In a season where there are so many people needing help and assistance because of the pandemic and due to the holiday season of giving, we may forget to give back or feel we have given enough, but this experience really touched my heart that we can all give back in some way. It's not always about money. Our time, our effort to share what we know and help someone in need in this way is just as essential. Be a David this holiday season. Give back the best way you can.

I looked around…read moreand no one was able to help me or come to my automotive aid, and I called up a gentleman named Jose, at Latino's Automotive. To my surprise, he said to bring it down and I did, and not only did I get a new transmission, at a great price, they did all the labor right there, and it gets even better, I wasn't without my vehicle for more than 24 hrs, they have great salesman ship, great attitudes, absolutely fanomnal service, at great prices, and for a simple working guys like me, it means a lot to have a automotive company you can trust and stand behind there work with a warranty... Thanks again Jose, I really appreciate the great service and attitude you had for me and my Jeep !!!!

Dishonest and incompetent! Brought them our F250 with a 5.4 work truck to have the engine rebuilt…read more Paid them a down payment and they promised to have the truck ready in 2 weeks. After multiple excuses and over a month later they claimed to have completed the engine. We test drove the truck immediately and found MULTIPLE coolant hoses leaking("Conveniently" they ink stamp on the invoice that overheating voids engine warranty)SCAM ARTIST!!! They also didn't complete other promised repairs. We left the truck with him again with a promise of repairing in 2 days and they didn't finish for almost a week. Picked up truck again and they repaired coolant hoses but not the manifold(as promised).. Worn down by all the lies and execuses, we accepted the truck and paid in full. After driving the truck for a few weeks we found an oil leak from one of the engine gaskets! Wow!!! The invoice you sign also states cash only and that the customer is responsible for all legal fees. So they are protected from credit card disputes and discourage lawsuits. Truly manipulative! They wasted so much of our money, energy and most importantly our TIME! This of the worst business dealings I've ever experienced and I hope this review helps you avoid the same!

DO NOT GO HERE - DANGEROUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL…read more I would not recommend AJ's Tire Shop to anyone, especially if you value your safety. In my experience, they performed an extremely poor brake job on my 2013 Honda that put my family in serious danger. Shortly after the service, the brakes were clearly not functioning properly, and the situation nearly resulted in a tragic accident involving my son. No parent should ever have to wonder if a repair shop cut corners on something as critical as brakes. That wasn't the end of it. They also worked on a 2018 Audi and caused additional damage to the tire and suspension. The car was NOT in that condition before it was brought to them. When the issues were brought to their attention, it was obvious they knew something went wrong, but instead of taking accountability or attempting to fix the problem, they became defensive and unprofessional. What really shocked me was how they handled it after that. Rather than resolving the issue like a responsible business, they escalated the situation and called the police instead of addressing the damage they caused. This shop showed a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and concern for customer safety. Mistakes can happen, but how a business responds says everything--and this response was unacceptable. I strongly urge neighbors to think twice before trusting this shop with your vehicle. Brakes, tires, and suspension are not cosmetic issues. They are life-or-death systems. Buyer beware.
