Been coming to this Sam's Club and highly recommend. The items are stocked with such great variety, area is cleaned and the staff is always friendly. Today, I stopped by the gas station and it required me to use a QR code to make a payment. For some reason, it never accepts my credit card. Thankfully Edgar, Sam's Club employee, came to the rescue and I was able to use my physical card to complete the transaction. Afterwards, I stopped by the store for a few items (which turned into a shopping spree). The only downside to this store is the move to use the app for almost all transactions- gas station, café, etc. The app does not work as expected for me, so I end up having to wait longer for transactions especially at the café. I wish they would return to providing physical membership cards and better staffing the Cafe. Overall, the shopping experience is smooth, I can browse freely without feeling rushed by employees or other shoppers (differs from other comparable stores). read more

My sister and I were shopping at Sam's Club the other night and had a very disappointing experience with customer service. We approached a register where Mark was standing and simply asked if the line was open since we would be paying with cash. Instead of a polite answer, he responded, "No, they are closed and remember that next time." His comment was rude, unnecessary, and unhelpful. There were still many customers actively shopping in the store, there had been no announcement that the store was closing, and nothing indicated checkout lines were shutting down. We were already trying to check out and leave. Thankfully, another checker kindly helped us and told us to leave everything in the basket while she scanned our items. However, as we were leaving, the woman checking receipts repeatedly said what sounded like "oatmilk" with no explanation or context. We had no idea what she was trying to communicate until we finally asked. Apparently, the checker had accidentally missed scanning a box of oatmeal. We immediately went back, informed them, and paid for it. What stood out most through this entire interaction was the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. I understand employees want to go home at the end of the night, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for checking out. Unfortunately, this was not my first negative interaction there. I have also experienced rude behavior from Michelle on multiple occasions and have seen her treat other customers poorly as well. First time at this Sam's Club around 4pm today. I accidentally pulled into a closed checkout lane and started unloading. That was my mistake, and I immediately apologized. The older cashier at the first register by the café responded with a rude, dismissive "YEAH." No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. If a customer acknowledges their mistake and apologizes, the appropriate response isn't hostility. A simple "no problem" would have taken two seconds and reflected basic customer service. If you're that miserable interacting with people, a customer-facing job might not be the best fit. read more

This Sam's Club is one of the nicer ones here out in the Riverside area along with Corona. The staff here at this locatio compared to others are alot more tenitive to their members. This location is generally busy but they have plenty of parking if you don't mind walking a bit. read more

I go here from time to time during my errands. For the most part, its pretty clean in the warehouse, items are pretty easy to find and wide variety of items going from electronics, home, clothing, produce, snacks, etc. Scan and Go helps a great deal when I'm trying to avoid the lines for self-checkout or ones with actual cashiers, which can get quite long. The food court has a variety of items at a reasonable price but lines can be slow for the regular line. Best thing to do is use the app for ordering in line for the cafe for somewhat quicker service. Parking is usually pretty easy to find and they even offer a pick up service if you're wanting to have someone do the shopping for you. I'm not sure if its all members for this service though or only for Plus Membership . Either way, I don't mind shopping here from time time. read more

I come here to charge my car, but this is a great place to kill time. Its easy and chill here, not like Costco. Costco is snooty and sams club feels relaxed. People here are just nicer. They have everything Costco does but more imo. The chicken is just as good, the food court options are more and cheaper and they have my keto ice cream! They have better deals than Costco imo. What i love is the self check out through your app. You scan your own items and just leave. You walk through that towering arch and it scans the items you paid for. Easy! Simplistic and fast! After waiting 35 minutes for our drive up order, watching multiple cars come and go with their orders while we sat and just watched, then we get stuck with your sucky attitude employee Christian who literally was slamming all my groceries into my van. A lot of things were in boxes and with my seats pulled all the way back he had the room of an entire van yet he kept throwing things in haphazardly, crushing fragile items. My husband tried to help and he told my husband that he had it, but in a very sarcastic tone. Then he ran out of room and needed to access the trunk which he kept messing with the buttons over and over to the point my tailgate wouldn't close. I was so upset, I ended up yelling to stop breaking my van. I don't have time to deal with your crap attitude and if you don't like your job then don't work here, I wish I took a video and sent it straight to corporate because my husband and I were completely shocked at his aggressive behavior. Bag of ice was melted, all our frozen items purchased the boxes were wet and soggy and coming apart. It's almost like our order sat out for the 35 minutes we waited! Unbelievable. I will never take my car to the tire center! They tell you something is wrong with your car and that the wearing of your tires is due to the car and not the tire so they don't have to rotate or warranty your tires. He then tells me that he doesn't have records of when the tires were purchased even though it's been less than 2 years! As soon as Julio tells me this I take the car to my mechanic and he tells me nothing is wrong with the car or the tires except for the tire sensors! The tire department has been good in the past but those guys are no longer working there and to get an appointment you have to go to the club or you'll have to wait on phone to a call center that never answers the phone! Let's be fair- I have used Sam's Club's pick up service many times & been satisfied. HOWEVER: tonight they notified me that my order was ready for pick- up, but I waited for over an hour. When I reached out to an employee at the 30 minute mark, she let me know that my order would be out soon. At the one hour & 10 minute mark, I spoke with another employee who said that they were going in order, but there were only two people working pick- up. He told me that I could come back tomorrow, & it would be available. That may seem reasonable, except that I live 30 minutes away. I cancelled the order & learned not to use pick-up in December. Totally disappointed with Sam's tire center. On Saturday, my tire pressure light came on my dashboard while driving to do some errands showing I had low air. Since Sam's Club was close to where I was going I stopped like I have in the past. Very nice associate filled the tires with air. Next day I returned to Sam's Club because the light didn't turn off, thought maybe it was nail or something. When I pulled up a different associate assisted me and I told him my concern that maybe there was a nail. He looked and found a nail but said two associates called out so he wasn't sure they could get to it. He said they weren't taking walk-ins but since I was there the day before I was welcome to wait. After four hours of waiting, the associate advised me to come back the following morning on Monday at 8am as they wouldn't be able to get to me. He said he spoke to the morning shift and they would "get me in" as I asked if I needed an appointment but he assured me not to worry, it was all set. I arrived right at 8 am. Two people were in line ahead of me who had an appointment. I was there 20 minutes before they even acknowledged me. Before he even looked at my tire the associate said he can't guarantee he can fix the tire or how long it will take. After talking to him for few minutes I realized he didn't even want to assist me, but making excuses. He said I would be better off going to "America's Tire" which was the best advice he made. I have always had great service with purchasing new tires and repairs but this time it wasn't that way. Maybe they are under staffed and overworked but they could have handled it differently. Been coming to this Sam's since they first opened. Although I also have a membership with Costco, I like Sam's too. Reason being, is that some of the things sold here, Costco does not have. Plus, there's more choices at Sam's. For example, at Costco they only have the Olay Shea Butter body wash. At Sam's, they have the Olay Shea Butter and the Olay Fresh Outlast (which i like better). They also have more choices of shampoo, deodorant, salsas, spices, etc. I also like the big 10-lb chub of ground chuck as well as the flanken short ribs (also items Costco does not have readily available). The best part about Sam's Club is the scan and go feature, and fast exit. The worst are the return lines. Why do they always only have 1-2 people working there with 10-15 people in line? The pick up orders are also a mess. People has waited an hour outside for their pick up orders. I finally walked in and asked if I could just have my order. Went into the store yesterday to buy a pair of women's pants that I had seen a week before when I was shopping. Paid for the pants, while going thru the parking lot I received a very important phone call that left me rattled, couldn't wait to get home. Yep, drove home without the pants. When I discovered I had left them behind, I called store customer service. They looked, but said to come in tomorrow & see. Went to store today, they saw that I had called, but no pants turned in- they actually refunded my money! Sam's Club was rough. The customer service at checkout was horrible, especially since I was buying alcohol. The lines were long, confusing, and painfully slow, and no one seemed interested in helping move things along. Parking was a nightmare too, which already put me in a bad mood before I even got inside. Once in the store, the cleanliness really disappointed me. It felt messy and poorly maintained, not what you expect from a membership warehouse. Honestly, the whole experience just felt like Walmart with a fancier name, and not by much LOL. Sam's club is actually incredible? I bought an annual membership for $25 from Groupon. I basically wanted to see what Sam's Club was all about. I was expecting a glorified "Walmart" experience but all I saw were strong Costco and Costco Business vibes. It's amazing what a "pay wall" will do to change a user experience. Seven truths about Sam's Club. 1. Everything here is also found at both Costco and Costco Business. Packaging and brand names may be different but the products are the same. 2. Diversity of products here is so much deeper than Costco. Costco may only have one option for a cell phone charger but you might five options here. 3. Liquor selection is more approachable here. Better variety of smaller liquor bottles and options. 4. Their bakery is on par with Coatco but again more options. While it's true that maybe the Costco items are more visually appealing. 5. The one area where Costco crushes it is with clothing. 6. Sam's Rotisserie chicken is a big deal. Expect lines. 7. Cheap food court and cheap gass, just like Costco. At this time I think Sam's Club makes a great supplement to Costco. If they ever expended their clothing lines I'd consider switching exclusively. read more

The check out is a sh*t show. Not enough lines with cashiers for large orders. One line is now for alcohol ONLY, however it appears the sign isnt visible until you get there. We, along with several other customers, were standing in a very long line. It wasn't until we reached the conveyer belt that we were told by the cashier that she only checked alcohol, not food. She pointed to the sign as if we were stupid. We, along with other customers, had to find another long line and wait some more. Management really needs to improve the checkout system. We went in to the Murrieta location to order fresh pizza. When attempting to order FRESH pizza a young blond girl with an earing at the top of her ear was very rude. She was trying to force is to take the ready made pizza when we didn't want it. Not to mention they didn't have the one we wanted. She gave us attitude then proceeded to take our order. When another lady told us the order was ready we asked for a small bag. That same you g blond girl came up to the other lady and said; "No, don't give him a bag". The only issue is that the food area is too close to the check out area and seems to be where the bottle neck is. If the food line is long it can be a challenge making a quick scan and go exit. Great place to shop for family oriented items. It's not over the top like Costco with the organic items so you can actually afford to shop here. Bad part is the management here is horrible when it pertains to customer service. The check out lines are so long that your frozen items will thaw out before you leave the store. Not a manager in sight. As a result the checkout people move at glacier speed and all look over worked. 100 customers in 3 lines is pathetic. The food court looks ok. But once again the clerks move at glacier speed to serve you. 15 minutes for a hot dog is unacceptable. Only good thing is that there are no free sample booths here. So you do have to deal with rude, starving, patrons pushing small kids out of the way for a cracker sample. read more

I am writing this review based on the customer service. Customer Service sucks at this store. We were there just before 10 am on a saturday morning. No problem buying what we needed. Time to check out. Store had 1 line open with a cashier and the rest were check out yourself. Well the one machine we had malfunctioned during check out and it took over 5 minutes to get a CSR to fix the machine, all the while being looked like idiots with a growing line behind us. The inside of the club is great. But every time I come for a curbside pickup I wait over an hour no matter how few people are in the parking lot. This place desperately needs a visit from some executives in the operations division of Sam's Club corporate. Right now I'm on my second attempt to pick up my curbside order. It's the holiday so it was busy. I expected that. But when I came to pick up last night, there were at least 20 cars vying to get in the 18 spots they have for pick up one hour before closing. One guy said he'd been in a spot for an hour and 45 minutes and no one had come out to give him anything yet. It's a mess. It's compounded by the fact that people get so frustrated that they go inside and just end up pointing at the carts with their orders and begging to just take their order to their cars themselves. It's madness. I hope they fix it. I don't know if they're not properly storing the orders so they can find them quickly, maybe it's the software they're using, maybe they're triple and quadruple checking the order to make sure it's correct? To be fair, they've never made a mistake on my order. There's gotta be some way to walk already-shopped and completed grocery orders to a car 100 feet away more quickly. I feel like I could run all the groceries to all of the people that I am sitting with right now by myself faster than the handful of workers that are currently here. It's so weird. Something doesn't compute. Pro tip. Do NOT order the roasted hot chicken for curbside. I think they have to run to the back to get the chicken and it adds another 20 minutes to your wait. They bring it out separately. I don't know why they just wouldn't put a chicken warmer in the front so they can bring the chicken to the car when they bring you the rest of the order. So much about their curbside pickup doesn't make any sense. read more

I've been a loyal Costco member and held a Sam's Club membership prior to the store closing in Vista. I found a Groupon deal so I was inclined to rejoin because of the price and incentive. Also, the hours are much better than their competitor. The closest store to my home happens to be this location, Murrieta. There is also a store in San Diego for those of you closer to San Diego. The Murrieta store is clean and fully stocked, always. In addition, they offer curbside pickup as well. This feature is convenient. Place your order, select pickup, and schedule your pickup day/time. Arrive at Sam's Club, park in a designated parking spot, and call to alert staff of your arrival or simply use the app to check-in. I hope this service continues after COVID-19 is long gone. It saves time and unnecessary spending. If you want to shop in the warehouse, they are implementing a lot of great safety practices. The store is located right off the 215 and there are plenty of other stores/shops nearby. Parking isn't the greatest, but there are adequate parking spaces. read more
