I have been coming into Noahs Ark Christian Book store for a few years now. I used to go to the old location. I love the new location on Winchester. I Love the store and I'm so glad that there is a Christian bookstore in Temecula as this one. A Really Beautiful store and they have everything. If you want something unique and different or looking for that special item you will most likely find it there. The owner Scott is a Great guy and is very helpful and he brings such a peaceful environment. He cares about helping his customers with what they need and are looking for. If he doesn't have it he will order it for you. Very Convenient for the desires of your heart. A Great place to get gifts and Bibles to bring the word of God. It's a diamond in the ruff. I recommend searching it out and Shopping there. There's so much great stuff and you can spend hours just searching what is there. Great Books also! One of My favorites, "My Little Book Of Miracles, Beyond The Veil" Author Cynthia Lee. A book to build your Faith in the fact that God is a God of Miracles in the most Creative ways. He meets Our needs. He reveals himself through his Mercy and Grace and Power through Our Prayers. I Loved this book and I Love the store! Calling this place a Christian bookstore is a stretch, IMO. They have some Christian merchandise, yes. But they also resell old DVDs, VHS, toys, knicknacks- it's a hodge podge of interesting to very odd items. Mostly old and dated items. As for the value, I suppose it depends on what you are looking for. It could be a treasure trove to some, I am certain, but personally- it just wasn't what I was looking for. I've been wanting to purchase a family Bible since I lost the one I had years ago. It was a cheaper quality & was hoping to find something of better quality even if used, because the newer ones aren't the same to me as the old school ones. I found a decent used large family Bible in tact, no markings or ripped pages at a good price. I read the previous reviews before writing mine to make sure I was being truthful & not reading my experience wrong. Sadly most of the negative ones express reality. The owner was kind & asked if I needed help. But he was a bit pushy on items & I was in a hurry because I had to pick up something on time - he got me on the engraving ($15), which didn't take long like he said, but seemed like it because the AC wasn't as strong as one would hope in what was closer to 90 degrees w/humidity. I was literally dripping sweat. All & all, they have nice selection of books, bibles, studies & items for children, but pricey but good prices on the used books. I wouldn't discourage going if you have to have it now, especially being religious items, but might be lot easier doing online. I'm being nice, it wasn't that bad experience but not what I expected either. read more

Firstly, the owner of the store is so knowledgeable about religion. Very open and caring even if you don't hold the same beliefs. Next, the store was quite small, BUT it held a LOT of different things for everyone. A little cluttered in some spots, but it just gave more stuff for us to look at. While doing some antique shopping with my son, we spotted this store. After our favorite bookstore closed recently, it was nice to find a new place for books, movies, and music. Located in Old Town Temecula, off of Vincent Moraga Drive and Felix Valdez Avenue, this store is fairly easy to miss. Noah's Ark Discounted Christian Store had plenty of religious items, like jewelry, Bibles, art, and books. This store also had the largest selection of family movies I'd ever seen. We purchased a few movies, a cool old book, and a cute little pocket Bible for my son for Easter. The service was good, and the store had a wonderful selection of items. With so many little bookstores going out of business, I'd really like to see this store do well. It's nice to be able wander this store, finding all the great discounted items! read more

So wonderful and refreshing to have found this Christian gift store---or warehouse, I should say; it's huge! We were looking for the antique mall and saw this in the area and decided to drop in. It appears like a tiny gift shop when you enter but through the doors in the back, you emerge in book and knick knack heaven! Christian music, DVDs, books, tshirts, Bibles, decor, etc. The gentleman that worked there was nice and answered out questions. We left with some lovely items. Got there at 10:30am when they say they're open at 10:30am on a Saturday and not opened. Waited for 5 minutes and still no one was there. Called them and no one picked up the phone. I came to this store to buy my first Bible. The owner of the store asked if I needed help looking for a Bible, and since I didn't know much about the Bible and its different versions, he referred to me the Thomas Nelson NKJV Study Bible. I have been enjoying the Bible, as it is good quality, and the commentary is pretty useful in dissecting God's word. The owner himself is very knowledgeable on Christian doctrine, as well as the roots of the faith. He is definitely someone you would want to talk to if you are interested in learning more about the faith. read more

I think this Bible book store is going out of business. Outside and inside looks very unkept and yet their prices are very high. Be really careful what you buy here because you won't get a refund and a lot of the inventory looks used or beat up. We've found everything we need online and for much better prices. read more

Scott is right on when it comes to recommending the books in his store. He is knowledgeable of what books he sells and matches my requests to what I am looking for. There's also messianic judaica available, which not many christian bookstores hold. He is patient and has great charisma, a total pleasure to be around. I always have a great time there, laughing and relaxing and sharing the word. My experience of Scott is that he is a man who loves the Lord passionately, his whole life is dedicated to the service of God. He held bible study gatherings, loves doing evangelistic outreach and does not compromise his faith. This is reflected in his work. He is a tireless worker and family man. He is loved by everyone who gets to know him. Every time I've been there I find most of their goods discounted and there's always a lot of great bargains! 80% off...seriously? How do they even keep a business!!! LOL Talking to Scott is always fun and joyful, especially biblical teachings, I love Noah's Ark is my first option when it comes to books, bibles and christian merchandise. Pricing is a bit on the higher side, I found the same bible on amazon for about $40 cheaper and while I was leaving the gentleman working there caught me at the door and went on to guilt trip me into buying a bible from his store and I felt so terrible, I did. This is the worst Christian Book store I have ever been to. The guy who seems to be the owner is very creepy and overall pushy, trying to get you to buy things you didn't ask about or care to hear about. I went in looking for a Men's NIV version and he talked my ear off for 20 mins before I finally found one that I liked the look of. What the guy didn't tell me before I bought it, is that it's a "Teen Bible". I noticed this once I got home and went back the next day to return it. He went on to lecture me that there's no difference in the Men's NIV and Teens NIV. He said he took the Teens bible out of the box that was labeled Teens and put it in the Men's Version. He refused to let me return the wrong bible I purchased less then 24 hrs earlier. I walked out and will never step foot in that place again as well as tell everyone I know in my congregation that "Noah's Arc" is a dishonest and far from Christian run business. read more

This store is very nicely kept and it has tons of options to choose from whether it be bibles , books , movies, hats, shirts etc. it's a amazing and nice environment and the owner is very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the Lord and we will be returning for more. We love to support small businesses like this one because we know sometimes life throws curve balls and the reviews on here that are very negative about this store are so heartless and who claim to be Christian but are bad mouthing a sweet business owner who trying to make a living. Noah's Ark Christian Warehouse just may not be considered a "best kept secret" in the Temecula Valley, I am surprised that actually not too many locals know of this most wonderful Christian book and gift store or more correctly I should state that it is more of a "warehouse" or even a "superstore". Noah's Ark Christian Warehouse is in fact at one location but is housed in two sizable separate facilities (side by side) only divided by a brief walk through a parking area. I came upon Noah's Ark through the advice from an associate when I was looking for a unique gift for a friend. Needless to say when I entered Noah's Ark, I was so pleasantly surpassed by their large variety of items within their inventory and the ever so reasonable prices, as well as the volume of great bargain priced items. Almost whatever you might be looking for, you will find it there at Noah's Ark, such as (just to mention a few), Christian gifts ranging from bibles, books, ball caps, knit caps, t-shirts, music, videos and other religious gifts for any and every special occasion. Scott Vanyo and his associate and staff are so very accommodating to offer outstanding service it makes for a splendid experience to shop at Noah's Ark.
