Today the line to exit the building was back to the food concession. They only had one person scanning receipts and his reader wasn't working. He requested help several times. While waiting 15 minutes another person showed up and scanned a man's purchase who cut to the side of the front of the line. Several people asked her not to reward him by checking online and laughed at us. She ignored at least 6 customers who patiently waited in line. Know I've been on hold 13 minutes to speak to the store manager. I will go to Las Cruces from know on. This store is not responsible, unorganized, management doesn't exist. A regional manager needs to come here and clean house by firing the management working today. read more

Usually pretty pleased with Sam's. I was there a few weeks ago and needed help at the self-check. One lady on duty, and she was down the way, chatting with friends. Totally ignoring the lines of customers at the self-check lanes. Very busy time. Her back was even turned! People were backing up at the register I was trying to use, also, but I couldn't help it. I had to walk down and wave my hand in front of her face! She was able to solve my problem right away. And was very snippy about it. Excuse me, do you work here????!!!!! Sam's supposedly has reserved Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 7 and 9 AM for people in the high-risk group. I am 68 with multiple health problems. Got to Sam's a little before 9 am this morning (Thursday). Store half-full of people half my age. Including families with children. I complained to a mgr. He tried to tell me it was 9:00. No, it was not. But, as I tried to point out to him, there was a young family (large group of people) checking out at a nearby lane. So they obviously had been there well before 9 am. His response was to just repeatedly tell me that I should go to the area where staff would help me. Take my list and get my stuff for me. Which is a service Sam's provides during these time frames, for people like me. No, thank you!!!! I never get Sam's ads in the mail anymore, like I used to, so I don't know what's on sale. Plus Sam's is worse than Walmart about changing out their merchandise. I didn't know til I walked in the store if they had what I wanted. And I also like to cruise around and see what else there is that I might want. I am filing a complaint with the Sam's main headquarter. Plus, the governor's office, as this is a health risk. And anybody else I can think of. read more

They told us to come back the next day. We live over an hour away so we went to big lots and purchased there. My family & I always stock up from items at Sam's & we had two carts full. We were about to check out & as we were going to check out, the lines were full so we went to the self check-out. We scanned & paid & once we got our receipt the woman in charge of the self check-out checked & marked our receipt. As you walk out the store there are people checking your receipt so when we got there we were being checked again. & this woman had us there for atleast 5 min. Making sure we had everything on our receipt even though we were already checked. Finally at last she said she "guessed" we were okay & let us out. But behind us was an old white woman with two carts also full & she wasn't even checked. The only difference between my family & the old woman was that we are not white. And Last time when my mother came to Sam's, she bought 20 cases of water & they had her transfer all of them to a new cart, she injured her hand in the process & today we noticed a lady with 30 or so bags of cat food & they didn't make her transfer them to a new cart. So I would assume if you go to this Sam's club you would have better privileges depending on your race. read more

Haven't been to Roswell in many years. We were pleasantly surprised to see Sam's Club here. This store was very clean and the people very friendly and helpful. We travel full time and have been to Sam's Clubs all over the U.S. This store is one of the better ones. read more

We had a tire split on our way back from Carlsbad to Albuquerque, and had few options that had my tire size and still were open. Daniel in the tire center stayed open an extra 20 minutes to replace my tire so that we could go home - thank you so much!! read more
