Scan & Go is the best thing that is available here. I literally don't have to deal with a single employee other than the one exit door employee who scans my code. I don't have to wait at the very long lines at checkout. And if I wanted to order from their concessions I could do that all on the app. Wish they wouldn't bring forklifts out on the floor and block aisles for such a long time though and wish the random service hagglers would be only at the front instead of end caps blocking people's way. read more

The cooks at this food court are fantastic! This spot serves some of the best pizza around. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the portion size and the quality you get. Honestly, the pizza here is even better than what you'll find at many sit-down restaurants. read more

Could there be any more dysfunctional behavior at a Sam's Club than this one? I've never seen so many broken registers. I've never seen so many Managers standing around texting on their phone while the lines to check out are a mile long. Seriously choose another Sam's. Don't go to this one. It a good place with good prices, however it's a time for more than a price, a little bit of variety in size and color in the clothes can be improved. I'm not a big fan of Sam's Club and this one up in the Woodlands is pretty nice and somewhat exclusive - although it's really expensive for somethings compared to Walmart - and I wouldn't go, because of the membership fee. Today's experience at the beginning was great. Fransisco who helped us with the computers and phones was very upfront and knowledgeable. He explained the differences in the computers we were interested in and helped up choose to buy an HP. I would give him a 5 star. The store had way too many people in it with no direction. The were not social distancing. The check out was horrible. She gets 0 stars. She needs a personality. I gave her 2 gift cards and when I got ready to leave she gave them back and told me they still had money on them. I ask why and she replied "I didn't use them" I believe her name is Taya or Jaya. She wrote her name where the total of the bill is but I can't make it out. She needs to get another job if she doesn't like hers or learn to like hers especially in times we are living in. We came here to pick up a fridge that my sister ordered online and I was very surprised how fast we got in & out of here. We pulled in to the pickup area and called them and they told us it would be 5-10 minutes before they brought it out. Not even 3 minutes later 2 very nice employees brought out the fridge, loaded it in our car and that was it. Fast, friendly service. read more

This location has HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES working at the exit area. I frequently go to this location and usually purchase just one item. When exiting, of course the lady employees scan the items and receipt, as it is their job. However, they always "have a problem with their scanner" and have to "re-scan my item" 3 or 4 times while fully analyzing the receipt. And will let the non-poc with FULL CARTS walk past without even scanning or checking their items. This happened around 12:30 pm (10-22) with the (hispanic?) ladies, one who had an accent. This has also happened MULTIPLE times in the past, last time was a different (hispanic?) lady with an accent. Although a very minor issue, the profiling from these employees is sickening. Not sure where they find these people. read more

I would choose this location over the 1960/249 location ANY DAY! The staff here are much nicer and the store is well kept. Not to mention, it's easy to get in and out of the parking lot without getting "dumped" on by the influx of birds hanging out in waiting... 9/15/2023 It's not a bad store, but when I needed to take my medicine, their water fountains did not work. So I went to a cashier and relayed that their fountains were not working, they said it's because of Covid. WHAT!!!! Covid!!! Are you guys for Real!!! Everywhere I have been, the water fountains are now working, and there's never been proof that they caused any harm to begin with!! so I decided I had to have water and I got in line with 18 people in front of me to buy water, nope, that's it, good buy!! if you can't provide water to your customers, then hand out free water bottles!! We made back our membership fee in two visits, so it's worth it for us. I buy in bulk on cleaning and personal care products, staple foods (good cheese, olives, olive oil, pickles, cereal...), and wine and spirits. Not everything is cheaper, that's true. But in my experience and for the stuff I need, it's at least "the same as" so I don't feel cheated or like I made a horrendous mistake buying tide pods here instead of elsewhere. I can't complain. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Whoever was working the register at the cafe today around 11:00 on 2/15/23 (wearing a yellow or lime green shirt) needs serious coaching or to be let go. After my family sat down to eat our food, I went to get napkins, but the dispensers were completely empty. I walked back up to the front of the line (I apologized to whoever was ordering) and I politely tried to notify the cashier that there weren't any napkins. Before I could finish, she stuck her finger in my face and with SO much hostility said "YOU need to hold on." I was absolutely mortified by the way I had just been spoken to. I had to find a Manager to let them know of the situation, but I also wanted to leave this review to ensure the issue is resolved. I hope someone is monitoring these reviews. read more

As I was getting my wallet out at the cash register, the employee checking me out said "you can go ahead and start putting things in your cart" as if this was my job? My understanding was that I place my groceries on the belt, the employee scans and places them in the cart, but apparently we also have to do their job for them. Sams club in the Woodlands/Shenandoah has not kissed a beat. I have both a Sams club and Costco membership and much prefer Sams. My only suggestion would be at the membership desk. They are efficient but have 0 personality and never say thank you. Seriously I went to pay for an expensive item which was missed on the check out and again at the door. I looked at my receipt as I was loading the car. I realized that it wrong up as hamburger and not an entire Tenderloin. I went back in the store to the service desk and they couldn't care less. No thank you for coming into pay the $85 difference. No apologies for the item ringing up differently than the sticker. It was disappointing. Otherwise I find this Sams to be well stocked and socially distancing safe. read more

They have a horrible customer service. After asking 3 different employees regarding a manager and getting toss around because they didn't have a radio call them and standing in a long as line to make an exhange. They told me I wasn't able to exchange a gift (box of diapers and a onesie) that was given to me at my baby shower because I didn't have a membership. The lady that welcomed me in told me that they will be able to help me without a membership since it was a gift and I wasn't returning it. But that wasn't the case they said they were not able to do anything. Ohh and the manager never came out to talk to me regarding the situation. I definitely wouldn't get a membership from them at least Costco have managers on the floor and are helpful with exchanges without a membership as long as it's to being exchanged for same merchandise. The sales folks will be visiting and wasting time instead of helping check out folks at the self check lines. When you call on them, its like your are bothering them. I have shopped at Sam's Club for many years now and have never had a bad shopping experience (except for with the bakery when they have lost an order two different times). Well my brothers grad party is tomorrow so I decided to try out their curb side pick up since the whole family is so busy trying to get the house ready for the party thinking it would be a quick and easy way to get the food for the party...WRONG. The order was set for pick up at 11-12, but it's 12:47 and they still do not have my order ready despite me being told at 11:30 that it was almost done. This is one of the most confusing processes, with some of the rudest employees I have ever dealt with. Soo, never will I EVER recommend the curb side service, unless you enjoy being disrespected. UPDATE (which made me drop another star) Two hours later they finally are done with my order, being the cart out and said bye. I used to love to order birthday cakes at Sam's, but the last few times I've ordered cakes, they weren't that great. Yesterday I ordered a fake for my daughter's birthday and I was scheduled to pick it up at 12:00 today, but when I got there at 3:00, they had no record that I even ordered the cake. I know I ordered the cake because I spent 10 minutes with the lady at the counter telling her over and over how to spell the name I wanted on the cake as well as my name. So now, I don't have a cake for my daughter's birthday party. Very disappointed. I won't be ordering from there anymore. read more

As a Sams member, I am more than disappointed with my experience today. I ship at Sams quite often and usually enjoy the pricing as well as the customer service. Today I went in to purchase a few things for a work function. I attempted to use my employers company credit card. When I approached the register, I informed the cashier that I would be using a tax exempt credit card for my purchase, and that the tax exempt number was on the back of the card. She said ok and began to ring up all of my merchandise. When it was time to pay, I noticed tax on the total. I asked that it be removed as I was using a (Tax Exempt) card. She then said I could not use the card unless I applied for a tax exempt membership, not my average membership. At this point the pregnant "manager" steps in and very rudely informs me that I can't use the card. I tell her that I have used this card in this very store before and not been charged tax, she gave me a blank stare and continued to say I couldn't use it. At this point I was over it, and just wanted to get my goods and go. I swiped the card and it asked for a pin. I explained that this was a credit card and not a debit card and that there was no pin associated with it. She then tells me to "call my boss and ask for the pin" because they have it. I explained again that there is NO pin to this card. She insisted that I didn't know what I was doing. I politely left all of the merchandise and took my business to Costco who could ACTUALLY help me. I will not be going back to Sams nor using my membership. To pay to shop at a store and be treated with such blatant rudeness is ridiculous. I hope upper management can get their disgruntled workers together. read more

Sam's is what it is and for large families a great place to shop. When there are only two, it doesn't make sense except for paper goods. I do use the eyeglass service and have been very please with costs. Of course, I have my pre purchased frames, but their lens are less than many other places. Good club, they recently remodeled like everything. So I have to figure out where they put all their stuff :( Cafe is good, a fresh three meat pizza is amazing! Prices are good all around I'd say. Biggest plus is their return policy, it is lenient to a fault I'd say. I can return shirts 6 months later (sheer laziness I guess) and they're fine. I've also had very good experiences with their added on warranties. I don't know how worth it extra warranties are nowadays, but years ago I bought a video card (I know, a video card from Sams???) and it's fan konked out on me. Took it to Sam's and they just refunded the money and said keep the card... Nice! I'll be back again and again! read more

Always enjoy browsing their electronics dept. they have a nice assortment of Apple products. Good prices on clothing if you can find your size - usually seems like they have "in and out" selections. No dressing rooms available, makes it VERY DIFFICULT to buy properly. Food items are mostly the largest sizes only - good for larger families or if you like to horde. No wifi. Can't rate them on service, because team members are no where to be found. I HATE the pushy guys at the front of electronics that try to sell you various plans like direct tv. read more

I went to the Conroe Sams Nov 22 and the store has had a reset so I asked where I could get coffee Isle 38 I was told No it was idle 41 Then I went to get my Almaden Chardonnay and Cabernet wine They had moved the Chardonnay from the bottom shelf to the top shelf I'm 5'9" and could not lift the box over the lip of shipping box so I was going to need help I noticed there was no Cabernet so I assumed they were out of stock Well while I'm looking for help I discover the Cabernet has been moved further down the isle I'm not a mind reader so I would have left the store without I hollered at a employee walking about three isles away and he was kind enough to help l spoke with the manager Tim before I left with my concern and he admitted that his employees did not know where their merchandise was I told him he was going to have a liability problem when someone gets hurt trying to pull a wine box off the shelf but don't think he was very concerned I drive past Costco to get to Sams and their parking lot is always full where as Sams is only a 1/4 of Costcos I called Sams customer service in Arkansas today and no sooner than I start to speak to the customer service rep I was disconnected and I was not rude Oh I almost forgot I suggested to Tim that they put some phones throughout the store so customers can use them to find merchandise I was told they had them they just don't work read more

This Sam's club is all messed up. Got done shopping check out went to get food as usual. Looked over and saw machines took over. So decided to make an order on first machine didn't work. Went to one that did work got all the way thru order and then it says see attendant. Went over and another family makes their order on same machine. Theirs go thru while were trying to get help. They order last pice of cheese pizza that we were trying to order. Were told we'll have to wait 10 min for new pizza. Very frustrating. This is a typical wholesale club where you save $ by shopping in bulk with a bit of Walmart thrown in. Smaller quantity items are becoming a larger part of the offerings in clothing, individual books and magazines, lawn and garden products and a good selection of mid-level electronics. Gas prices are always the lowest in town too. Place is always crowded so I like the new self checkout lanes. read more

Horrible place ; needed to see a jewelry piece but supervisor did not dispatch anybody - waited 15 min. Needed to check out but had to waitt for the cashier with long dirty nails to check out then return items 3 items for the person ahead of us in line, because she did not figure out that thhe Tyson bags were different ; and nobody helped - continued their chatting. SUMMARY: Because of the incompetence and rudeness of Sam's Pharmacy employees, we had to pay out several hundred dollars for medicine, which would have been covered by insurance. If Sam's employees had made even the slightest effort to work out a minor clerical/data entry error on THEIR part. DETAILS: Previously, I was a big fan of the pharmacy at this Sam's Club. I went there for ten years or so. Was always very pleased -until my final visit. It turns out this could have been solved very easily, but the pharmacy people would not talk to the insurance people. The insurance people specifically requested from me that I put someone from the pharmacy on the line. The pharmacy refused repeatedly. The insurance customer service guy actually called the pharmacy directly, because he really wanted to help and could tell how frustrated and upset I was! He tried to sort it out with them, but they refused to discuss it with him. Meanwhile, because we were desperate to get the medicine (we were out and its important for to not miss doses with several of the meds), we went ahead and paid the full price, which was several hundred dollars. One of the pharmacy employees who meant well did tell us that we would be able to get at least part of our money back from the insurance company, which was nice. However, it turned out to be untrue. There might have been a way to pursue it further with Sam's, but we were absolutely exhausted from this ordeal and decided to let it go and move on to a different pharmacy in the future. When I canceled my membership with Sam's, I gave them very clear feedback as to what happened. No one contacted me. I now go to Costco, where I actually prefer to shop. read more
