Not happy that they make u hand ur phone to gas attendant to use scan and go to purchase gas. They say they have to scan a QR code. Maybe place QR code somewhere so customers can scan themselves. Something new they just started. Unsanitary in my opinion. Nobody, or at least I don't want to hand my phone to someone who has been touching other people's phones, etc. Covid is still around and so is colds n flu and other germs lurking. Just my thoughts. One star for poor customer service. The first time I entered this store location through the exit door which isn't labeled as an exit from the outside. After a few steps in, I heard the store associate tell me that I entered in the wrong way. My response... "Welp, I'm in here now," shrugging with a smile. Then another associate proceeds to tell me that I need to go back out and let them check my member ID. I reluctantly comply, only to discover that the person at the entrance didn't bother to ask for my member ID. Stupid rule!! Furthermore, if I was a nonmember interested in joining the club I wouldn't have a member ID to show and I presume that they wouldn't turn away a potential customer in that scenario. read more

We carry a membership to Sam's & BJ's. I prefer BJ's but Sam's is closer and the items that I shop for, if you can't get it at the 1 store, you can get at the other. Lol. This Sam's is decent. Aisles are wide, parking is good. It's more like a wharehouse feel than BJ's though. They move the items around & rearrange a lot, which aggravates me. Plus, they stop carrying items a lot. Management's explanation is that they just test items to see what sells and if it doesn't in this area, you can try to find it at a different Sam's location. Really? The other annoyance is having a person at the door to make you dig thru your wallet or purse to show your membership card before allowing you in. (But, they don't always stop everyone). Either way, Hello?!?! We can't go thru checkout without giving the cashier, so what's the point of slowing us down at the entrance?? But, I'll give 3 stars bc you still save $$$ buying your milk, eggs, bread, juice, etc plus they do give samples if you get there at a good time. I love free samples. No help from management they put us on hold for the entire time! This Sam's club customer service is trash! Had a appointment on Jan 18th at 5 pm for tires. The employee was rude and very unprofessional. Gave attitude. We told him it was a Honda Civic. He went out to look at the car came back in and said , the Honda CRV has new tires. We said no Civic. He gave attitude and went back out. He then told us they had 70 % life. We left and took it to Firestone because the sensor was on. They called and said you need 4 tires. 1 tire was 11 % the other 3 we 20%. Really!!!!!! Well thanks Firestone because our daughter car will be safe now ! If we left it up to Sam Club she could have had a accident on the turnpike! We bought a recliner that broke and when they offered me a refund the nightmare started when I changed banks and they wouldn't refund to my new payment source. Produce is beyond disappointing. I have a family of 5 so I go here and often but I refuse to get my produce or meat here any more. Last time I got stew meat and the meat showing through the plastic looked good, but when I came home and separated it everything underneath was browning and slimy. It said it was packed that day. The time before that, I got ribs which I thought were too cheap... the quality of them were absolutely terrible they were so hard to eat. The produce undoubtedly sits for weeks. Atleast half of what is out is already dying, whatever you bring home is dead within 2 days. No exaggeration. The deptford sams club is constantly restocking their meat and produce. Sometimes I go there they don't have any carts because no one's gone to collect them. The cashiers are mostly miserable. I've wasted so much money here since I've moved farther from the deptford sams club. It's pretty bad when you're willing to drive twice as far to a different location just to get what you pay for. I don't understand why there are so many complaints about this location. I have been coming here for about 5 years and it's great! Customer service has always been helpful. Cashiers are pleasant and helpful. The store usually always has what I need. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that some locations carry different items and sometimes the items I do like the store doesn't carry anymore. I must RAVE about the Senior shopping on Tuesday/ Thursday. Kyle, Wendy, Bill, Tye, all of the staff very very Helpful and couldn't be more accommodating. I have had nothing but GREAT experience. Went on my own for the first time yesterday in 5 months ( plus member) early shopping and found it to be ok. Like the lucite dividers and mask required! The only reason I ventured out is I was trying to get Paper towels the last 6 times ( I go twice a week) and couldn't seem to get them. That's why I went yesterday and they just got a shipment! By Tuesday they would of probably been out of stock again. Not Sams fault, Covid times!!! I will continue my Senior shopping! Man - the door guys here are NO NONSENSE! I was here over Easter weekend with my dad, and we arrived just a few minutes early. It was about 12 degrees outside, and the man told us we had to wait outside until 8am, unless we wanted to pay $50 to upgrade our account. C'mon man, it's freezing outside, and the place is empty on account that it is so early! But he didn't budge. Not even thirty seconds early. He waited until the second hand on his watch hit that 12. As for the actual store, everything is laid out well. Again, we were there extremely early, so of course everything in the store was neatly organized. It's a fine location for buying loads of stuff. Nothing memorable one way or the other. Just sit in your car if you get there a few minutes early, or the old man at the door will rough you up a bit. read more

The bag claims the chicken is fully cooked but the few pieces i pulled apart after heating them up for my two year old son proved otherwise. I looked around for tire at many different tire places, Sam's was the cheapest I could find for the tires I needed. I bought 4 Pirelli tires and a tire warranty. They are a great tire . That being said now let me tell you the problem. I took it over and left the car. They called me and told me it can't be fixed and they need to order a tire, will be a couple of days. I leave the car, 3 days later I call , they confuse me with another customer and tell me I agreed to leave it for a week from today. So I drive up to settle the issue. I am then told they confused my account and my tire has no date to give me because they are discontinued. 2 months old , again. Then the manager Bill tells me they will call when it's done. Whenever that is. He then gives me an option to upgrade that tire to get it done faster but of course has to charge me more. I'm done with these people. Get your tires else where. You may pay another hundred or so but they will at least live up to their end faster. No hurries and no worries on Sam's club side.. just sorry that's the way it is... a 10 dollar upgrade and I didn't hit it until I asked if it was possible. Had the unfortunate experience of buying tires there. Arrived Friday & purchased 4 new tires, after paying for them I was told that they wouldn't be able to put them on my car because it was late in the day, it was 4pm They close at 9pm. I told salesman I'd be there 7am next morning which was sat 12/1/18. when I got there @ 7am salesman told me there was a 2 -1/2 hr waiting period. I informed him I had 2 developmentally disabled youths with me & that it would be difficult for them to wait that long. He said I could make an appt for Tuesday 12/3/18. I needed the tires for a trip on Monday so I had no choice but to spend Saturday morning at Sam's club from 7am till 10:15. To make this experience even more unforgettable the salesman stated they only had 3 tires mounted on my car because they couldn't find the 4th one, so they said I would have to come back to have it mounted when it came in. He said there would be no charge, how nice. I informed him at that time, this was the most outrageous experience I have ever had as an American consumer. As a result, I will have to come back & wait for this tire, but I will make it a point NEVER TO ENTER THIS STORE AGAIN they have no consideration for the customers time or circumstances, the speedily needs boys with me we're anxious and irritable the rest of the day. as the holocaust survivors say; NEVER AGAIN! read more

This is the third time I've tried to buy food here and have had a horrendous experience. Friday my wife and I went there and bought their vacuum sealed salmon. The dates were fine on it. Had 6 more days. Cut the salmon open last night to find the salmon was rotten. Horrendous smell. Now it's Sunday morning and I open the three pack of baby back ribs we purchased Friday with the salmon,the date still has four more days left. Again, the smell was rancid. Rotten meat. We have people coming over for ribs today from my smoker......... guess that can't happen for the third time. Now we have to wrap every thing back up and drive with this rotten fish and meat in my vehicle to fight with customer service again...... the meats cheap for a reason. Went to unload at this location with an appointment at 1 am and didn't get out till 4am. If it wasn't for me sticking up for myself and not letting them walk all over me, I would have been out much later than that. They don't go by the appointments, they just do whatever they want. I arrived early like around 9 pm and they kept telling they didn't have space for our pallets but somehow were able to unload a bunch of other trucks. Finally at 2 am one guy told me to park in a door so they can unload and then another one came and was about to make me get out so he can unload another truck. Tablet warranty misrepresented. We were told multiple times that the $70 SquareTrade warranty on our tablet was a two-day replacement warranty. Even the manager that I spoke with on the phone slipped up and said replacement warranty while he was trying to tell us otherwise. After a manufacturer defect required us to use the warranty we found out that it only covers repairs, not replacements. Further, we were told that we could not get a full refund for the warranty, but only a prorated refund minus all of the time we had the warranty under false pretenses. Now they're playing the their word against ours game and saying there is nothing they can do for us. We would never have purchased a two-year $70 repair warranty for a $299 tablet if it had not been misrepresented. read more
