i've known the owner Fred for over 28 years, shortly after losing my entire family I found myself in the need of a reliable truck, so I went to him thinking he was a trusted friend and mechanic. Boy was I wrong! he convinced me that a large SUV he had on the lot would be perfect for my needs and he just needed to give it a one server and put his dealer tag on and drive it to ensure it was all good. After a year of hearing "the parts are in and or I just drive it and make sure it's OK" I finally received the overpriced, barely running, undrivable, unsafe, vehicle with a bogus title. It wasn't until I called him on the title that he offered to return my money because he " had it now" but not when I asked for it the many times before. Since this cost me in many ways, I also asked that he rewire my F250 so I would have a local truck to use, he agreed picked it up, parked it in the lot and has not touched it in months. Also he does not have a dealer's license, he's using a borrowed tag. Miles and Miles of lies!!! if he would do this to somebody he's known for over 28 years who just suffered great loss, imagine what he could do to someone he just met. We dealt with Fred who from the very beginning of the repairs up to the completion was very responsive, a great communicator and an exceptionally talented auto mechanic. Well, I can't be happier - my car's a/c is pumpin' - the price was competitive too AND came w/ a 12,000 mile or 1 year (whichever first warranty! - talk about backing your work!). I decided to try Miles, one because I was tired of Lexus dealer prices and two I was using Tirerack.com to purchase brake pads I like that I could not install myself. Prices at Miles are awesome compared to the Lexus dealer of course. Customer service was outstanding and we are talking compared to Lexus which is their bread and butter. Third and what hooked me is tech! They have a webapp that they send you time-stamped pics of the parts they recommend to be repaired and replaced! Lexus, No one that I have been to has that I thought that was awesome! Fourth was honesty, I had already had purchased and sent rear brake pads to Miles via TireRack and they said the rear brakes could wait. I totally recommend Miles to anyone out there! read more

Can't recommend Miles Auto Service enough! I had heard great things about Miles for a while now, but hadn't had the chance to get there until recently. My family's van had an unbelievable turn of bad luck in the hands of a big-box tire shop, and even though we were under warranty there we had to give up on them and take it someplace we could trust. We took it to Miles Auto to have them assess and fix the damage the other shop caused. Fred White and Miles gave it a thorough look, found all the sloppy mistakes the other place had made and got to the bottom of our bizarre problems and the mysterious sounds we were experiencing. Fred and his team diagnosed and explained the issues in an easily understood way, fixed our car quickly and properly with quality parts and instilled a sense of trust in us which we hadn't had in years. Gave us a list of things to do but didn't give any info on why I took the car to them. Almost $600 they were showing needed to be done. I took the car to my old mechanic in Philly. Cost me $105 read more

charged me for repairs that weren't done , told me that my engine light would turn off and i got 3 new codes after. gave them the car with a working radio and get it back busted up and dosent work. volkswagen symbol missing off wheel and claims it was never on it.... Fred told me towing service was 40 abs was 75?? horrible place do not recommend going. cost total was $1,100 just for new turbo gasket, left axel, and to screw in my dow pipe. unreal read more
