He prepared the fries and my chicken wings to order as well as the meat whether it be lamb or chicken. In addition to chicken and lamb gyros, they have a variety of platters; kofta, falafel, shawarma, grilled shrimp and Philly beef. Don't know about the last one, I guess it could be good. The lamb tasted great, no gaminess at all, the vegetables were fresh and the tzatziki sauce tied everything together for a delicious bite. The rice and salad were great compliments to my gyro platter. On an impulse, I got the wings, and after one bite was ecstatic that I did. They did not look like they were gonna be good and maybe to others they may not be. I think they're frozen out of a big bag, pre-made just need to throw it in the fryer for a few minutes. Anyway it had this weird orange hue to it just like the friend chicken from Pioneer Chicken . If you grew up on the west coast or Hawaii that was the competing friend chicken chain to KFC. I think there's only one restaurant left in Los Angeles. This fried chicken still haunts my dreams, I have half a mind to road trip it to California for a family pack of delicious fried chicken.
