Mammy's was the best meal I had in my 4 day visit to the area! We came pretty late at night after a…read morelong day of bourbon tasting in the area, and we were all starving. We sat at the bar because it was still pretty packed. The place was fun - the service was a bit silly in a good way. Great cocktails. Great ambiance and decor. My bourbon-grilled pork chops were fantastic. Good cornbread. Green beans were fantastic. The fried apples were just okay - a bit on the dry side. My friend's chicken and waffles looked amazing. Another friend's ribeye looked a bit overdone to me, but he seemed to like it. I wish the souvenir store was still open when we were there (it closed at 6pm) because I would have liked to bring home a trinket or shirt. Maybe upon next visit - because I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Bardstown. Make it a priority to stop in!

We got here after a day of travel and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Finally got seated around 8 and they closed at 9 (on a Friday). It took a bit for our waitress to get there but we ordered a fried pickle app and drinks. Came back with drinks and we ordered food. It took an hour to get our fried pickles which by that time my children were very hangry. Then took another 20 minutes to get our food. I get being busy but that's what to long to wait with no explanation. Our server did feel bad and gave us some free pie. The food was just alright. The fried chicken was really dry, they were out of the sauce for the waffles/chicken. My boys enjoyed their country fried steak and ribeye though.

The inside is also beautiful designed with plenty of space for groups and a nice sized bar. Chef Heyde curated a menu that has something for everyone. If you want a comfort, healthy or simple dish, you will find all these options on the menu. I went with the MF's breakfast sandwich. SO GOOD! Eggs, Crispy Candied Bacon, Avocado, Blackberry Jam, White Cheddar Cheese on toasted Hawaiian Bread. What a sandwich! They also have DOUBLE mimosas! YES! That is rare , I of course indulged. Loved everything about Morning Fork. If yo are in the downtown Louisville area, be sure to check it out - you won't be disappointed.

You enter from the back, and right away the staff greeted us warmly. We had a party of four and were seated quickly. The inside was beautiful with a great atmosphere definitely a cozy and welcoming vibe. Our server came to us in under a minute very fast, professional, and attentive. I ordered the cinnamon roll as an appetizer, and for my main breakfast I had the banana bread French toast, biscuits with eggs and cheese, and orange juice. The orange juice was amazing super fresh, natural, and sweet. The cinnamon roll was good (not the best I've ever had, but still enjoyable). The food overall was solid. The banana bread French toast was really good, the eggs were cooked well, and the biscuits and gravy were also very tasty. On the downside, one of the plates came out a little dirty, which wasn't great to see. Other than that, the place itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and the experience was enjoyable overall. Rating: 4/5 stars

It's like 3 business combined seating areas and you should be able to find a spot inside or outside here. Great ambiance for kids and a calm chill vibe. There's even a playground as well For food I opted for the bacon croissant sandwich. It's was verrrrry good. Thick crispy bacon paired with a delicious aoili on a butter croissant. What more can you ask for??? I also got the orange juice which was freshly squeezed. Loved it

I did see there is a patio out front, then there is a small indoor seating area, but the real space is the back yard/porch. That area is impressive. The place is rather rustic. You order at the counter and they will call you when it's ready. No table service here. You are on your own to get a to go container and such. Usually that wouldn't be a problem, but when you are dining alone, it's kind of hard to go fetch anything. Do you leave your belongings? Do you leave your food? If you need more coffee, how are you going to carry it all? Even to just pick up your food. Do you leave your drink? Will you loose your table if none of your stuff is there? It can be a problem. However the food is delicious and the portions are generous with reasonable prices. I love that there is a section for my vegan friend... I always scan the menus for vegan options so I make informed suggestions if we want to hang out for brunch/lunch or dinner.
