    Great can beer selection!
    Andrew H.

Best beer selection in Joshua Tree, by far! They've got lots of the major California craft breweries and even some of the smaller ones. I stocked up on beers from Pizza Port, one of my favorite breweries in the state. They had them in tallboy 6-packs, perfect for chugging after a hard lead out on the rocks!

Don't be fooled by this non-descript market. You could easily drive past it, mistaking it for just another mini-mart. And when you first walk in, that's exactly what it feels like. However, go to the back to the beer cave. They have an amazing selection of beers. I suspect that the owner, Sam, is a beer connoisseur who tries to get his hands on all sorts of interesting beers. In fact, they have a beer cave in the back, which is essentially a walk-in fridge with all sorts of beers. Unfortunately, the beers aren't organized in any particular discernable order (didn't seem to be alphabetized or by location, but beers did seem to be clustered by brewery, just couldn't see any order to how the brewery groups were organized...). They also have beers outside the beer cave that aren't refrigerated. Beer lovers, be sure to peruse the shelves slowly, as I'm sure there are some gems hidden there. I saw some beers that I had never seen before!

The man working here was genuinely the nicest person. Plenty of stuff to buy but really just wanted to review to support him. Good people.

And I have to say that I have never had a bad experience in any way. Anyone who has any concept of this store knows that it's not the biggest in terms of selection of everything. It's a smaller store with fewer options but it really doesn't matter. The food they sell is so good. I love their own product line of groceries. Their golden oreo style Joe-Joe's cookies are like crack-cocaine. I can scarf a whole box in one night! I don't do that anymore, I'm in cookie recovery. But I know one of these days I'll fall off the wagon but I'll be fine with that. They have great prepared foods like meatloafs you can toss in the oven when you don't have time to make something from scratch. I love their Atlantic salmon with lemon herb butter. That's really delicious. Sadly, some products come and go. They used to have a sweet onion bacon vinaigrette that was phenomenal. We not only used it in salads but also to saute Brussels sprouts and other veggies. My entire household was sad to see that disappear. They have a great selection of supplements and very affordably priced skin care products which, according to some instagram users, claim are just as good as high end products that sell for a lot more money. Their fresh cut flower section is incredible. They're so fresh and are better quality and the best priced compared to any other grocers who carries flowers. They also have beautiful orchids and many different varieties. They sell a small collection of plants that always gets my attention. And like everything else at TJ's, their prices are better than anywhere else. Lastly, I have to give a shout out to Trader Joe's consistent excellent customer service skills. Trader Joe's is a shining example of a customer-centric culture with really great employees/staff that are engaging, know their product very well, are very willing to help and are down to earth. It reminds me of a bygone era where people were more engaging/friendlier twenty-five or thirty years ago. I think it's important to acknowledge how Trader Joe's shines in every way.

With loads of TJ, the parking situation can be a bitch. That does have a major factor in visiting some of them. I've driven to a further location as the parking is better. With here, if you can't find parking on the main level, there's alway plenty down underground. The layout of the stores are alway great. It's somewhat the same as all of them so it makes it easier to maneuver and find where things are. Staff are alway so friendly and welcoming. Even coming one or two time years ago, the staff would remember their customers. This location in my opinion has the best floral selection both for cut flowers and potted plants. So much to choose from and they're alway so fresh. Plus it's kind of a one stop shopping here and the other chain store next door. Location is great and parking is easy which is a major factor. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket for free parking when you're walking out. The machine is against the wall where the manger station is.
