Just ok. Their employees are VERY friendly, and for that, they get 5 stars. But for the actual manicure?? The skill is just average. My gel manicure took longer than usual, the edges we not very neat, and they started chipping after only a few days (that's never happened anywhere else!!). Not to mention, they don't use liners in the pedicure bowls!! They "clean" them between, of course, but I'm not too keen on busy worker's sanitation skills or consistency nor the dingy look of their pedi bowls. I ended up getting them done at a random shop while out of town and was very pleased. This was the first place I tried in Clarksville, so I have nothing to compare it to here, but I won't be going back. Hopefully I find a place that matches the quality of most other nail shops I "happen upon." read more

The pedicure was great but they are not good with timing. I made an appointment for 1:15pm. I showed up 30 mins early and still waited an additional 30 mins after my appointment time until she started doing my feet. They are very busy so it is basically appointment only. However she said she tried to "squeeze someone in" before me causing my appointment to be late. Yet, as stated, the pedicure was fantastic(which is why I gave 3 stars), aside from the topcoat not being properly applied to avoid shrinkage. I made an appointment for a week later (today) to get my nails done. I got a call yesterday to see if I could come early for timing purposes. Then today I got a call saying my appointment was cancelled because she is running 2 hours behind and that I would have to reschedule for next weekend. As if I wanted to wait another week to get my nails done. Now I have to go elsewhere. read more

I was a long time client at another salon until I witnessed unsanitary practices. I called Sam's to see if they had availability. I like the ability to make an appt. on line. The salon is super clean and the chairs are comfy with working massage capability. My pedicure tech is amazing at what she does and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's the only place I've been where my toes aren't sore after they clean them up. They are gentle with the surrounding tissue and refrain from digging deep to shape the nail. They actually School me on proper nail and foot care. I have also noticed that I don't build up tough calluses on the ball and heel of my feet since I've been going there because they don't shave the feet. I love that they offer a variety of services such as massage, brow maintence, facials, detox, body wraps and reflexology. You get what you ask for without misunderstanding or communication barriers. I've been looking for a quality nail salon that has mint foot masks like a place I loved in Lexington, KY. Sam's delivered and then some! The women here are funny and nice and everything is very clean. I got exactly what I wanted and never felt like Sam was rushing through my manicure and pedicure even though I know she had a full schedule. She called me about 45 hours before and said she had a cancellation and wondered if I could come in early to allow for evening walk-ins. No problem for me and I like that she called. After hearing a lot of hype about this nail spa, I decided to go and get a pedicure before my beach vacation. While I do love the wide nail polish selection and their amazing massage chairs... The skill and time management of the staff leaves something to be desired. I was there for two hours (for a service that has historically taken 50-80 minutes at most places)... And left with rough heels. If I would've at least left with smooth heels I would think that they at least a good job... But it was just mediocre at best. read more

I don't suggest to walk in to this salon. I did last week and the vibe was not friendly at all. I feel like they were super friendly to regular customers and appointments but they made me feel unwelcome. My manicure is also very poorly done. The polish is just horrible and too thin so it's not the techs fault but she did complain over and over about it. I felt she should of offered to start over after the second coat. I would of honestly asked her to but I already felt uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Honestly my favorite find in Clarksville thus far!! Sam runs her business in a professional manner but also has great personal skills that really make the customers feel welcome. The appointment-only deters some but think about waiting at nail salons that are really busy Saturday mornings or other high-volume times... this is a way better solution, because they're always busy! And though I do love the manicure/pedicure services that use natural and odorless products, I'm writing this review for Lisa the massage therapist. I've had hundreds of massages over the years and this was by far the best massage I've ever gotten! Not because it was "super luxury" or something but because her extensive knowledge and care. EXCELLENT service!!! Called in the day before (aka super last minute) to reserve 6 pedi chairs for my best friend and her bridal party. They had no problem working with me! The pedis were amazing! My feet got so much TLC just for the $20 express pedi! They upgraded the bride's pedi at no expense for her special day!! The staff was amazing; so friendly and loved having us there! Let me just say that the staff is very friendly and it is by far the cleanest nail salon I have ever been in...BUT, the staff obviously are not experienced nail techs. I spent 3 hours getting my nails done and then had to go somewhere else the next day to have them fixed. This was their third attempt to correct their messy work, for which I was there 2 1/2 hours each of those times. I have been getting my nails done for 20 plus years and I am not really that picky but this was the most horrible work I have ever had done. It's sad to have such a nice clean shop and such sweet people but they need to know how to do nails if they are going to run a nail shop. Sorry, I just can't go back or recommend this shop. read more
